"We have a family of 5 and our boys (8,6 and 3) were so welcomed and treated so well...they even help our boys with their eating and packed us some food to make sure that our boys don't get hungry during our day trips out. "As soon as I arrived, even before I could state my name, the front desk staff already knew who I was. They swiftly processed our check-in and provided us with a map, highlighting nearby tourist attractions. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and cozy. It's also incredibly convenient, located just a short walk from both the night market and the local market! It's perfect for family travel, though the only drawback is the lack of an elevator, meaning you'll need to carry your luggage up yourself. I'll definitely book here again the next time I visit Huian."

"A very good hotel if you want to stay in Hoi An for a beach holiday.The city is about 5 km away. It's literally a 7-minute walk to the beach, if you go a little to the right, there will be a nicer beach (palm trees, sun loungers if you want, restaurants with seafood). The general area of the hotel is small, but very beautiful. Huge plants, a clean pool, which is deep and large enough to swim. The room itself is clean, there is a kettle, water, tea / coffee. There are free bicycles (I went to the lighthouse and to the starting point of the round boat tours). The service is also great, the nice girl at the reception was very friendly. Breakfast is ordered in advance from the proposed items (pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelette, etc. + tea or coffee).
Cons:
- I couldn't fall asleep for a long time because of the strange creaking of the wooden wall behind the bed - The room had a balcony, but there was no table or chair on it, and the view was mainly over the roofs.
I stayed at the hotel for one night and would have stayed longer if there were rooms available.
I recommend the hotel."

"May and here team are amazing! The service was beyond expectations and the room was perfect. The shower has such great pressure and held its temperature, which has been something a lot of places in Vietnam miss. May and her staff booked motorbikes, train tickets, tours and extended our stay in the same room with no hassle to ourselves and gave us great advice for what was good to do and better skipped. Couldn't recommend more. The location is also perfect as it's an easy walk into the old town but also far enough away for it not to be too busy or noisy around the hotel itself."

"Our stay at the Fami retreat Villa Hoi An was one of the best I have ever had! We stayed a total of 3 nights there and are more than satisfied. The rooms are as in the pictures very cozy and the beds extremely comfortable. Also the pool is very large and optimal to swim a few small lanes. For this already a 10/10! But even better was our host Nguyen. He received us on arrival, showed us everything and made himself directly available for questions. In addition, he took extra time to give us tips on what we can do in Hoi An. The first morning he invited us to breakfast and we had a lot of fun with him and other guests. On our last evening we had a barbecue together and spent a nice evening together. On our now almost 2 months Asia trip we did not have by far such a nice stay as with Nguyen in the Fami retreat Villa. For anyone who likes social contact and wants to make the most of their stay in Hoi An, the Fami retreat Villa is a must! 101% recommendation. Gladly again!"

"The owner is very lovely, the whole family. Just walk a little bit, about 200 meters, and you'll find the old town and the night market. The location is very good, I highly recommend it. There's no bathroom smell, the air conditioning is cool, and the TV works fine. There's no elevator, so you might have to walk up the stairs yourself."

"It was a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and there was a balcony so I was able to spend comfortably. Wifi can be used without problems. It's a little bit from the main street so you can spend the night quietly. Breakfast is served at a restaurant a little far away, but it was very delicious and impressed. Above all, the smoothie bowl is the best. There is also a pool, but I didn't use it because the beach is right away. I was worried that the water pressure in the shower was unstable and the temperature of the hot water was not constant, but other than that, it is perfect. This time it was 4 nights, but next time I want to stay for a long time ♪"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Hoian Central Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional customer service provided by the staff (Jasmine, Lien (spelling could be wrong) and Anna. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
The breakfast offerings were surprisingly varied and delicious. While the amenities were standard, the hotel's focus on service more than made up for it.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its commitment to integrity and customer care. After checking out, the staff discovered a Visa card left behind and promptly messaged me to arrange its return to my new hotel. This level of honesty and consideration is rare and truly appreciated.

GGuest UserOur stay at this hotel in Hoi An was absolutely incredible, and the highlight of it all was the owner, Tuan. From the moment we confirmed our booking on Trip.com, he reached out personally, providing his WhatsApp contact to assist us with anything we needed.
We ended up booking all our airport transfers, tours, and transport directly through Tuan, and it was the best decision ever! He was super responsive, incredibly friendly, and completely transparent about prices—he even gave us a discount, making his rates cheaper than Klook. On top of that, he handled all the arrangements seamlessly, planning the timings and destinations for us, essentially acting as an amazing liaison and travel concierge while also being a fantastic hotel owner.
One thing we truly appreciated was that payment was only required at checkout, so there was no need to pay upfront. That level of trust made the experience even more pleasant. Plus, he even surprised us with a thoughtful souvenir before we left—such a kind and generous gesture!
Beyond his exceptional service, Tuan speaks amazing English and has the cutest daughter. His hotel is ideally located near Hoi An Ancient Town, especially close to the night market, so we could just take a lovely evening stroll for food and shopping.
And let's not forget the breakfast—an absolute treat! A wide selection of free-flow Vietnamese home-cooked cuisine that made every morning feel like a warm and hearty start to the day.
This was, hands down, a 10/10 experience, and we will absolutely be coming back again. If you're visiting Hoi An, stay here—you won't regret it!

HhollysmithA great home stay, they have multiple rooms and run it a little like an Airbnb or hotel but still keep the family touch behind home stay experiences. Family is kind, attentive, and great to chat to even with language barriers.
Free bicycles to use which is great because it’s a bit of a walk or cycle into old town. We think it’s a good distance but cycling shortened it. They do laundry but we didn’t use. They also have a dog who is a funny character.
To note for guests who are particular: Some things were a bit unclean in our room which is why we put 3/5. Amenities were good but shower head has a mind of its own and water temp is high (great and unusual for the surrounding properties we stayed in, but careful for unexpected water angles). Room also smelled damp and it was hard to get rid of smell. If this was a hotel it would be not acceptable, but given it’s a home stay we didn’t make a fuss. Just including in the review as homestays really range.

I recently stayed at the Tran Family Hostel in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in organizing trips to My Son and Hue, which went smoothly without any issues. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool.
The location of the Tran Family Hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring the vibrant streets of Hoi An. The hostel's proximity to various attractions, markets, and restaurants allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
The rooms at the Tran Family Hostel are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. The highlight was the super comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodation were also commendable.
One of my favorite amenities at the Tran Family Hostel was the outdoor swimming pool. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and cool off during hot Vietnamese afternoons. The pool area was well-maintained and added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay.
All in all, my time at the Tran Family Hostel was fantastic. The staff's assistance in organizing trips to My Son and Hue ensured a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The convenient location, modern rooms, and comfy bed added to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend the Tran Family Hostel to fellow travelers visiting Hoi An.

รรังสิตMy girlfriend and I really like this place. Everything is perfect. The room is very good, spacious, good bathroom (but I wish there was a dry and wet zone). The staff is very good, helpful in everything.
We got a room next to the pool, thought it would be noisy, but it was very minor. We slept very well.
The breakfast is excellent.

IImogen BonnieThis hotel was glorious to stay in. I've never slept in such a comfortable bed, it was just incredibly soft and comfortable and I've never slept so well in my life. The room was huge, the bathroom had so much space, the balcony was lovely to sit in in the evenings. Great that there was a mini bar with some snacks and drinks as it made the late night arrival easier as we didn't need to buy anything. Great location - only a 15 minute walk into the old town. Staff were lovely and so helpful getting us a taxi back to the airport.

AAnonymous UserThe place is located right in the middle of hoi an, a few streets away from old town, lots of eateries around and about an hour half away from the beach (on foot).
The room itself is big with big cupboard and a mini fridge (but the plug too short to get to the socket). If you look in detail, it's pretty rundown... Some things are pretty old and broken. The stairs holder is broken so be careful. Some curtains are molded? But ignoring that, all the things are functioning well and doesn't really affect much if you are looking for a place to rest.
They have a 'pantry' area where you can dine in and microwave your food.
