"The hotel I situated a litte out of town. It's perfect when you arrive at the bus station! It's 20 min walk to the center. The host is really nice and helpful! They have a amazing temple inside also. I don't know if every room is like this but we had a really dirty one. The toilet was leaking on the ground there was sigaret ashes on the ground everywhere. The floor was very dirty. Luckily the bed looked clean but was quite hard."

"Our flight from Daocheng to Chengdu had rescheduled, so we choosed to stay at Daocheng Sanmao Homestay by chance. This ******* homestay run by a lovely and friendly couple. The lady speaks English fluently. She recommended us to try the delicious noodle in Daocheng and also suggested us to visit the white pagoda and local dancing in the evening. If you visit Daocheng, please stop to stay here!"

"The sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong."

"The hotel owner provided very good service and took the initiative to change us to a larger room. The room was clean and comfortable. It is relatively close to the scenic spot. I booked a room at noon and arrived at Sangdui Town in the evening. It was just right for me to rest and adjust for a night, and then I set out for the scenic spot directly the next morning. Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high. Highly recommended!"

"During the National Day holiday, the ”Shangri-La Loop” stayed in Daocheng for 2 consecutive nights, leaving a pretty good homestay experience. I would like to call it the cost-effective version of ”Xiao Songzan” · Recommended crowd: friends who drive themselves, like ethnic characteristics and quietness (*The homestay is 3km away from the town, which is a little inconvenient for eating and shopping, but compared with the cozy atmosphere, this is not a problem at all) · Homestay environment: The rooms are all on the first floor, with a yard and fruit trees (apples and pears are super delicious). There is a big golden retriever named Potato, who is very well-behaved but also loves to play. The living room on the second floor has private collections of the boss and grandfather, which is called a small museum. I got up early during the holiday and couldn't catch breakfast. The thoughtful boss prepared it a day in advance. The service was completely great! If I have the opportunity to go to Daocheng again, I should go again. I really recommend it~"

"The hotel is in an excellent location. There is everything you need for eating, drinking and shopping in the town center. It is a 200-meter walk to the bus station, and the transportation is convenient. There is sufficient heating + free oxygen, which effectively relieves altitude sickness and allows you to rest well. It is about 5 kilometers away from the scenic spot and can be easily reached by car in more than ten minutes. It has complete facilities and good hygiene. "I followed the advice in the comments section and proactively added the hotel's WeChat. It turned out to be an excellent decision and truly saved me a lot of hassle. With the hotel's guidance, my car was parked for free at a hotel near the scenic area entrance. Then, a staff member warmly drove me right to the entrance and even assisted with ticket purchases. I took the shuttle bus to Yading Village, Stop 2. Upon arrival, someone was there to pick me up right away, just a few dozen meters away. A quick side note: the shuttle bus driver was a bit too aggressive, taking over a hundred sharp turns, which left me feeling quite motion sick. Check-in was quick, and I was able to settle into my room for a much-needed rest. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the panoramic view of the vast highland barley fields outside the window was absolutely breathtaking. Before I headed out, a staff member enthusiastically shared useful travel tips and a local guide. It rained lightly in the scenic area, and when I returned in the evening, a steaming cup of ginger tea was immediately brought to my room. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. Staying at this hotel was undoubtedly the most satisfying choice of my entire Western Sichuan trip."
