A great hotel, it was a pleasant surprise on our way back! Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha. The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan. The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~ The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~ In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~

This was absolutely the most heartwarming surprise of my entire high-altitude trip, and I have to give it a huge shout-out! The guesthouse was incredibly well-equipped, so there was no need to worry about the inconveniences of high altitude. Our room was bright and comfortable, with ample heating at night, keeping it neither dry nor cold, and I slept soundly. You could tell the owner had great design ideas; every detail was thoughtfully designed, making the stay incredibly convenient. The most touching thing was that the next day, we had to catch an early flight and weren't even expecting to have breakfast, but the thoughtful housekeeper had already packed a hot breakfast for us. This kind of service is truly exceptional, and it warmed my heart the whole way. This place isn't just a guesthouse; it felt like a second home on the plateau. Highly recommended!

This was my second stay at the Howard Johnson within three days. This time, I came back to the hotel to rest for a day after hiking down from Yading Village. The room was upgraded for free again, and the in-room amenities were still excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and of good quality. However, there were a few hitches. First, let me state that I personally have no prejudice against ******* people, but the ******* housekeeping auntie at the hotel didn't speak good Mandarin. I couldn't understand what she was saying, and she couldn't understand me. During my first stay, the TV wasn't working, and the auntie came to help. After a long time of trying, she eventually suggested that I video call the engineering department directly. The issue during my second stay was that the hotel air conditioning had no heating. After calling to inquire, the same auntie came again, and it was still like talking to a brick wall. She said she would find someone, but there was no news for a long time. I had to call the front desk and found out that no feedback had been received. After all that back and forth, eventually, a front desk lady and an engineering guy came up to check. They said a valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I felt it was taking too long, so I discussed whether I could change rooms. The front desk agreed and quickly prepared a new room key. The front desk and engineering helped me move my luggage. However, in the new room, the air conditioning still had no heating. It turned out the main valve wasn't open. Firstly, I've stayed at many Howard Johnson hotels under the Great China umbrella elsewhere, and this is the first time I've encountered AC that only has either cooling or heating. Secondly, I hope the hotel can strengthen Mandarin training for its staff. After all, this is a tourist town, and there should be more Mandarin-speaking guests than Tibetan-speaking ones. Thirdly, when such problems arise, the duty manager or housekeeping manager should step in to resolve them, not the front desk and engineering staff. Finally, I'd like to thank and commend the front desk lady and the engineering guy who came up that evening to help resolve the issues and move my luggage. Both of them patiently and meticulously sought out the problem and actively worked to solve it. Especially the front desk lady, who maintained a cheerful and approachable demeanor throughout her service.

Booked a family room, the room is large, clean and tidy. The dinner in the restaurant is delicious. There is a self-service supermarket on the first floor of the hotel, which is convenient for buying snacks and oxygen. The hotel is also very close to the bustling area. It's very lively when you go shopping at night, and there are a lot of delicious food.

I was very fortunate to stay at this hotel during my trip. The hotel staff were very welcoming, the rooms were very clean, and when there was a heating problem during my stay, the receptionist immediately helped us change rooms and even thoughtfully prepared jujube and ginger tea. The hotel is also very close to Daocheng, and the hotel chef is excellent; we ate dinner at the hotel both nights, and the stir-fries and hot pot were all very good. I am very grateful for the thoughtful care provided by the hotel staff during this trip.

Loved the decor! The spacious environment was super comfortable. The curtains and bathroom facilities were in perfect condition, and the room was spotlessly clean. Any requests were handled promptly. The experience was absolutely fantastic!

Stayed in so many hotels, Daocheng Tianxu Hotel is a one that really surprised me and reassured me. In the Aden scenic spot for a day, the happiest thing is to return to the room and be immediately surrounded by the warmth of the floor heating, and instantly disperse all the cold. What is more intimate is the diffuse oxygen supply in the room, which makes me, the first person on the plateau, sleep well all night, without the trouble of high reaction. Miss 105 at the front desk was very good; she explained some plateau knowledge to us. It was great. The concierge's 109 brother actually sent our 3 large bags neatly to the room. The breakfast was also very rich. The details really determine everything, from warmth to breathing here are considered for the guests. highly recommended!

The room is clean and tidy, and the room has oxygen supply equipment, which perfectly solves the problem of oxygen deficiency and cold at night. The bedding is soft and odorless, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hot water is sufficient. You can rest well after a day of running. Open the curtains in the morning to overlook the distant mountains and meadows, and the view is wide and cured. The breakfast is rich in variety, Tibetan snacks, hot porridge are all available, warm and full. Whether it is traveling alone, traveling together or with elderly children, it is very suitable here, the price is full, and I will choose to stay in Western Sichuan next time.
