I don’t know how this hotel can be rated a 4 star. At best this should only be given a 3 star. I’ve stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in total and the experience is really not great. Mind you this is $100 a night on average. 1) lobby does not smell good and the carpet that welcomes you is literally filled with dust and dirt, if you can’t have it professionally cleaned regularly at least get a new one once every 6 months. 2) the lift was out of order for almost the entire booking period, there is only 2 lifts avail and the service staff uses the same lift to do house keeping, imagine having to fight for the lift in the AM. I empathize with the staff but it takes me around 10 mins every morning to get from 25th floor to ground floor. 3) the air condition on the floor while you’re waiting for the lift does not work, so you’re already sweating balls even before you head out. This is unacceptable. 4) they charge you 5HKD for water!! This is a 4 star hotel and they don’t provide you water in your room?! 5) the lobby is in a mess and boxes of documents laying everywhere 6) they only provide you with 2 disposable toothbrush in the morning and come to clean your room once a day, if you miss the AM timing they won’t clean your room twice, what a pressure to wake up innit? You’ll be better off taking your monies to any nearby hotels and I’m sure it’ll be better than this one.

This is a super small hotel room. The bathroom is super small. And they have no fridge in the room.

The rooms as tiny, It's located across the street from Central Library and Victoria Park at the side skirts of Causeway Bay. Easily accessible by bus, tram and MTR.

Room is small. Bathroom is small and tight (not ideal for a big person). A decent hotel overall

Cleanliness & Maintenance should be of utmost importance for this hotel (Max.2-3 Stars). Compared to the recent visit to Rosedale nearby, I got 27th Floor Victoria Park+Sea View, I can only get a 5th Floor Building View (much Smaller Room, less Tidy Facilities). Rosedale offers a much better Cost-Benefit Ratio, I think Metaplace should be priced at the max. $300-$350 only!

Clean and Quiet Room is located nearby subways Causeway or Tin Hau its walking Distance For Few meters the staff is friendly and helpful highly recommended

Good hotel and comfortable

The room is clean enough. Just don't use the kettle as it seems a bit dirty tried heating water. It worked but there are just weird particles in it. The bed was soft. During the time we went there was free bottle of water but they said HK is have a new rule without bottle water in room for free. But this place is so near the convenience stores. And near bus stop. Easy access to taxi. Location wise 5 out of 5

Stayed here few times before brand change. Location was good there is A11 bus direct to airport in front of library and bed was comfortable able to sleep.

Great location and easy to find but a bit compacrlt. Recommend for short stay in hong kong. The view is good, directly opposite to Hong Kong central Library.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The front desk service was exceptional, deserving a perfect score of 10. The staff were polite and completed our check-in in under a minute. They even allowed us to check in early to accommodate our elderly family members and children, which was very thoughtful. The luggage storage was free, making it easy for us to explore the area without our bags. The view of the sea added to the experience, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. However, I did notice some worn carpets with burn marks. One thing to note is that plastic items incur a charge, but they provide complimentary wooden toothbrushes, which might not be the best option. I recommend bringing your own toothbrush! The nearby subway station is a bit of a walk away, but the journey allows you to discover many shops and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hong Kong. The area felt very quiet and safe, making for a pleasant stay overall. Highly recommended!

The hotel is closed to HK Central Library and Victoria Park, 10 min away from Tin Hau station. The room is clean but a bit small.

Nice cozy hotel, room is a bit small but everything you need is there. A little bit of walking from the MTR station but not bad. Overall is good value for money spent.

Bathroom was larger than bedroom . Pictures were deceiving on the size. Plenty better options at the price point
