Listening to the ocean from all of the rooms in this condo on the 11th floor make this an exceptional find in Waikiki! Spectacular Ocean and Diamond Head Views ~ 2 Bedrooms ( One King Bed, one Full Size and new Queen Sleeper Sofa in living room), Corner Unit on High Floor Brand New owner November 2019 ~ Diamond Head Beach Hotel on the Gold Coast. The two bedroom condo (with separate entrances to the two bedrooms) comfortably sleeps six by offering one King Bed, one Full Size and one Queen Sleeper Sofa. It is a corner unit, large (over 1,000 square feet, including the lanai). This well kept condo has everything you need for a wonderful stay, including a new 55" inch Samsung smart television. There is a full-size kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven). The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, toaster, dishes and cookware. Modern dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. Washers and dryers are conveniently available in the building with elevator access. Our guests do not pay a resort fee. You don't need to rent a car! Exploring Waikiki from here without a car is convenient because it is easy to walk or take buses and taxis. There is a Russell’s convenience store selling a variety of supplies, food, snacks and alcohol just a five-minute walk from the Diamond Head Beach Hotel (adjacent to the New Otani Hotel). There are excellent restaurants within a five-minute walk. Michel’s serving lunch and dinner is in the Colony Surf at 2895 Kalakaua. The famous Hau Tree Lanai is an open-air restaurant in the New Otani Hotel at 2863 Kalakaua and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. The New Otani has two other nice restaurants ~ the Miyako Japanese Restaurant and the Sunset Lanai. Further west on Kalakaua is Lulu Lulu’s at 2586 Kalakaua open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Cheeseburger in Paradise is located at 2500 Kalakaua open from 7:00 a.m. to 12 a.m. Duke’s, famous for brunch, tropical beverages and live music, is located at 2335 Kalakaua and open from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. You will also find McDonald’s, Burger King and Subway in the same area. The ABC stores are excellent for gifts and snacks. BIG SAFETY ISSUES but incredible view It's hard to beat the view and location, however, this property should not be listed as a 'family favorite' as it is NOT safe for small children. This is the main reason I left one star for accuracy of online listing. All of the window coverings have long, floor length dangling cords which are VERY unsafe for small children. This is a massive safety issue for toddlers or younger children. The other safety issue is the patio/lanai - it is shallow in depth and full of patio furniture including the owner's storage box which is pushed right up to the edge on one side. A small child could climb up and easily fall off. The patio door is broken and constantly was either stuck open, or stuck close - NOT ideal for safety of small children. The door needs to be replaced. We ran out of dishwasher tabs/soap, garbage bags and hand soap during our stay - a sufficient amount of these basic amenities should have been provided for our group (5ppl) and length of stay (9 nights). The property managed responded promptly but the actual items weren't provided until 2 days after the request. We wouldn't stay here again unless safety upgrades were made.

Pretty much a perfect spot, great view, plenty of space, close to anything you could want to do, and right next to a bus stop for stuff that's further away. Quick responses from the owners whenever there were questions or changes. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you could need. The beds were plenty comfortable. All around a fantastic stay all together. Given the chance to come back this is easily the first location I'll be looking at.

Condo 1101 We’ve stayed in this building before so we knew what to expect regarding the age & quaintness of it. But this particular condo needs some major maintenance, repairs and upgrades. The supplies are very limited and sparse including kitchen dishes, glassware, cookware and bathroom towels. The basics that were there need to be updated. There was nothing extra like placemats or a tablecloth etc. Many of the items that are pictured in the listing were not there. It just was not a welcoming stay unlike other VRBO listings but was very clean which is always appreciated. The management replied quickly to any messages. Check in is easy. The best thing going for it is the location and the large balcony and the outdoor grounds are great! We enjoy the area.

Gorgeous view The apartment is amazing, the lanai unbelievable. Although it was often too hot to use. Still, we enjoyed the view. The twin bed is rather small for two adults but the sofa bed is good. The kitchen only has minimal equipment. The concierge is s great bonus, providing us with dishwasher tabs, toilet paper and additional towels. Mahalo
