Kuhio Banyan ★★
A budget-friendly Waikiki stay featuring in-room kitchenettes, beach gear, and a central location close to restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort ★★★★
A beachfront Waikiki resort featuring five pools, a private lagoon, lush tropical grounds, and endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki ★★★
"The staff were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the room could be much better if it could be more modernized."
Royal Grove Waikiki ★★
"The hotel is excellent, the staff are very friendly, the accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the location is great, close to the beach. There is no parking available."
Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort ★★★★★
"This was the best value hotel we stayed at during our stay (we also stayed at Hawaiian Village and Aulani). Location, quality of service and amenities. Had enough to keep kids entertained without being as overwhelmingly busy at Hilton. Enough space to relax, the onsite beach is small but always empty. Fitness centre is big. Only issue was wifi connectivity - lacked solid connection in either the room or generally around the resort however the hotel kindly gave us a portable device for free which helped somewhat. Highlights included kids cinema and movie, pool tables and other free games and walking distance from downtown with some of the best restaurants (highly advised to book ahead)."
Polynesian Hostel Beach Club ★★★
"I booked a single dormitory. There are foreigners there. The location is very good. The quality of sleep depends on whether there are snorers in your dormitory. Foreigners have a strong perfume smell. If you mind, don't book it. The facilities are relatively complete. You can cook by yourself. There is a public refrigerator and storage cabinets."
Waikiki Malia ★★★★
"The location is great, close to the beach with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. However, the sound insulation facing the street isn't good, and the air conditioning is old and noisy."
Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani ★★★★
"I went there because of its reputation. The environment is average. The room with sea view I booked was pretty good. The hotel gave me champagne. Thank you very much. The outdoor pool of the hotel is quite good and worth recommending."
FIRST CABIN INTERNATIONAL HAWAII ★★★
"Even though it was a room-only plan, there was a Target nearby, so we could eat things we bought there, plate lunches, or even items we brought from Japan in the common area lobby. It was great that there was a microwave, a fridge, and a toaster!"

Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu
"I love my trim so much!"
Hotel la Croix
"The facilities and decor are quite old, but for this price, you can't expect too much. Hotels in the Waikiki area, especially those near the ocean and beach, usually cost upwards of $600. American hotels typically don't provide toiletries or slippers, but this was the first time I encountered a hotel without even tissues or bottled water. There's a water dispenser in the lobby on the first floor where you can refill your own. Breakfast only offered two choices: scrambled eggs and potatoes, plus coffee. The service, however, was quite good. The front desk allowed me to check in early, which I appreciated. The staff also kindly lent me a kettle because I enjoy drinking tea."
Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa
"Overall a pleasant stay, very friendly front desk and people, convenient location to nearby attractions. Thanks!"
Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina
"This is ridiculously overpriced. It's only worth 2,000 yuan, but they're selling it for 15,000 yuan."
Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa
A wellness-focused retreat featuring Nami Spa’s hydrotherapy facilities, restorative massages, facials, and tranquil spaces designed for deep relaxation.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach
"The breakfast is horrible. Staffs are kind. Rooms are average"
Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach
"Very disappointed with our 7-night stay at Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. The resort and hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time, and the carpet in our room was stained throughout. Getting fresh bath towels, pool towels, or beach towels was a daily struggle, we were repeatedly told they had run out. The biggest issue was the customer service. From the moment we checked in, many staff members were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and seemed bothered when we asked for assistance. For the price we paid, we expected a much cleaner resort and far better service. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again or recommend it to ANYONE!"
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii
"It's fantastic, perfect for bringing kids. I highly recommend the 3-hour childcare service with Mickey Ears and Moana – it's amazing!"
Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites
"The view of Diamond Head and the ocean was amazing! Drinking alcohol while watching the view from the lanai was a blissful time. The room was spacious and clean. There was a large refrigerator with kitchen detergent, sponges, and kitchen paper. On the L floor, there was a convenience store, cafe, poke shop, and ice cream shop, which was very convenient. We received an ice cream voucher for our stay, which we enjoyed every day. The only drawback was that the water pressure in the shower was weak and the water was lukewarm. It was a happy space that we would definitely like to stay in again."
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa
Steps from Waikiki Beach, this oceanfront resort offers Pacific views, a pool overlooking the coast, spa treatments, and island-inspired experiences.
Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
"The views were lovely, and the rooms weren't too dated, although the bathrooms were all on the smaller side. We stayed in an oceanfront room for five nights! Service was practically non-existent, and the facilities were pretty basic, but I suppose that's often the case with hotels overseas. Overall, the location was excellent."
Aqua Palms Waikiki
"Very good location. Friendly staff. Clean room, excellent pool. Great breakfast in IHOP is available in the same building."
Park Shore Waikiki
"I liked the location and the gym, the room was large, and the worst part was the price of parking and the free coffee hour. I also didn't like that the room was cleaned every 3 days."
Hotel Renew
"My companion accidentally broke the handle of the ice maker in the hotel lobby and was asked to pay $100 in compensation. They initially said $50, but after we readily agreed, they suddenly changed it to $100. Because there was no coffee machine or bottled water in the room, we asked to use the ice maker. The ice maker itself was made of ordinary plastic and of poor quality; it broke after only one use. They initially promised to send us a receipt for a new ice maker worth $350, but they haven't done so. Ctrip customer service was very helpful in communicating with us, but they couldn't resolve the issue."
OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Paradise Hotel
"The room was just renovated with partial sea view. Excellent pool with jacuzzi. Good location- very close to everything. Much recommended"
