There are many bus routes right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to Pearl Harbor. The Pink Line of the 'Waikiki Trolley' also stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is great for going shopping at Ala Moana. Now for some areas for improvement: The room didn't have many amenities, and there was no free bottled water. It's a bit far from shopping and dining areas; getting to lively spots usually takes more than a 10-minute walk. However, if you love surfing 🏄‍♂️, this is a great choice as the beach is just a short walk away."

Price was reasonable and actually slightly cheaper than other hotels nearby. They would give a big discount for Hawaiian residents if you directly reserve a room from their official website. The lighting in the room was also quite dim. Our impression was that the noise from the main street was louder than the sound of the waves. As a hotel, it may be better suited to people who have a lot of plans to be outside, as it is a place to sleep."

And here are the cons: 1) Poor room cleaning; they only clean every other day, which isn't enough for a beach vacation. The cleaning is subpar, and sand isn't removed from the room. 2) The towels in the rooms are terrible: dirty and old. 3) The curtains in the rooms are old and dirty – not appealing. 4) The room is small, which is inconvenient for a beach holiday, and there are no slippers provided. 5) The hotel is old, and the rooms could use an update. There's mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the ice machine looks so bad you wouldn't even want to go near it, let alone use the ice from it."

There was one lady in particular who was quite helpful though and the baggage men were quite on the ball. The Location. The location is right where you want to be. In the mix, on the beach, I’m sure there are better options but for me, this was perfect. There was one pothole across the street that ended up being a bit of a killer to my ankle, rolled it real good, popped some bone right off. Hope that gets filled in. The cleanliness was prime the amenities were pretty much what you’d expect, they had a pool, an ice machine which I made great use of and valet, and other things I’m sure. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

The room had a kettle and also a convenient cold water pitcher that you could take out to refill. The infinity pool offers beautiful sea views. The location is also superb; you can reach the beach by walking through a small alley, and it's only a 5-minute walk to various tour pickup points. There are many restaurants and ABC Stores nearby. The hotel also has its own bakery next door, which is very popular and delicious. Breakfast is served as a set menu and tastes great, though the waiting time can be a bit long."
