For airport transportation. I went without much expectation, but for this price, it's that good... It's neither good nor bad, just for sleeping.

It was already after 8:00 pm when we arrived in Male, so there was no seaplane, so we could only stay in Male for one night. This small hotel is still OK, the service is relatively simple, and it can meet the basic needs of tenants. It is nearby There are also toaster shops, markets and the like. Because the room types were slightly different, the boss waived the round-trip transfer fee for us.

Since we arrived at night and couldn't take the speedboat, we stayed here for one night. It's about 15 minutes by car from the airport. I had requested an airport shuttle over the phone in advance, and it was right on time and waiting for me. The staff were very kind and helpful. The beach is right in front of the hotel and is very beautiful. The room doesn't have many amenities so you have to bring your own. They lent me a hair dryer upon request.

Some power supplies have experienced instability. The rooms are a bit small and the decoration is a bit old. I saw a huge cockroach on the balcony; it is close to the beach and there are many businesses around it.

I was looking specifically for a beach front hotel on Hulhumale island. I selected this hotel based on price, room size and because it was a penthouse suite with a sea view balcony. Let’s start with the not-so-good things. It is really a boutique hotel/guesthouse, which is probably similar to most accommodations along this stretch of the island as we discovered. It doesn’t have a lift, and the stairs were very narrow, which, again is probably similar to other establishments in the area. The penthouse was on the top floor, which is kind of converted from an attic, so the headroom is low at some parts of the room. We requested for an insecticide spray after we checked into the room as there were some mosquitoes. Upon spraying the insecticide at the corners of the room and under the furniture, it forced several cockroaches out and I had to deal with them. The shower is one of the areas with low headroom, resulting in the shower head being installed at a height of about 3 feet. This made taking a shower standing upright very difficult and often times you’d have to squat or kneel. The balcony also had a low roof so there’s very limited space for you to stand and admire the sea view, add to that some dilapidated wooden rails, it didn’t entice one to spend more time out on the balcony. Breakfast was provided but we were served the exact same food, consisting of toast, omelette and sausage, every morning throughout our stay. Now for the good things, though I’m hard-pressed to find many to write about. It is conveniently located, with many convenient stores, shops and good restaurants around the area within walking distance. The beach is just right in front of the hotel so it’s easy to walk across the road and have a dip in the sea. The hotel staff were helpful and organized a snorkeling excursion for us which was enjoyable. Having said all that, I would imagine the same qualities can be said of the dozens other hotels in the same area or along the same stretch of the beach. All in all, I wouldn’t say it was a dreadful stay, but for the price I expected somewhat of a more comfortable and accommodating room. Then again, I might be wrong as that may be the going rate for such a 3-star accommodation in the area and you’d have to pay considerably more to have a better hotel.

Was a good place to stay over if you wish not to wait longer at airport for your next flight. Affordable and good location with cafe’s and restaurant. The beach is just opposite of the road. Will definitely return back.

It’s always been a pleasure to stay in this hotel I have stayed in this hotel several time and I always wanted to stay here every time I visit maldives city for 2/3 days.the staff is efficient. Pleasant and helpful. Special thanks for the owner (Mr. Nazeer) he always wanted to make sure the guest are comfortable and super friendly. The location is just front of the beach, and near by the main area which so much easier for those person who love shopping and culinary. Room super comfy, Everything just melt into a bed, was such a long nap during the day Overall I had such a lovely stay in Ripple Beach Inn and recommended I’ll be back in a month !!

This is the best hotel in hulhumale. We stayed at the top floor with the fabulous sea view and the rooms were top notch. Everything works and clean. Best price. Plenty of things to see around and good restaurants. I want to thank especially Mr. Naseer for the great hospitality from check in to check out and also the team who were were kind and told us lots of things that we could in maldives. 10 out 10.👍👍👍👍👍. We stayed at the penthouse room for nearly two weeks and i cannot thank enough the service and support we were given. I would highly recommend Ripple Beach Inn.

On the plus side: opposite the ocean and the beach, but I don’t recommend swimming (while walking in the evening, I saw a girl vomiting into the ocean and a young man (not a child!) squealing without any embarrassment). The bed and mattress are wonderful. The air conditioner is working properly. There is an iron in the room. The hotel is close to a park and various restaurants. Of the minuses: dust on the TV, broken floor, broken old chairs, dirty refrigerator, noisy (locals like to ride motorcycles and this noise will be heard until 2 in the morning). Very, very weak internet. The bathroom is also not ideal (I am attaching a photo), but there is warm water and toiletries too. The staff is responsive and helped us call a taxi.

We had the room on the top floor and it was more like a small apartment and very large. The balcony was not visible and had a great view of the ocean. One evening we could even spot dolphins. Our daughter had a cute little bed which is great for kids up to about 10 years old, we had a big king size bed. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large enough and also had some storage space. The hotel owner Nasir was very accommodating and tried to fulfill our wishes so that we even had coffee in our room the next morning. More than okay for a few days! We had the room on the top floor and it was more like a small apartment and very large. The balcony was not visible and had a great view of the ocean.
