Beautiful property with a lot to do. Great breakfast buffet included with lots of options. Staff was very professional and helpful Only issue we had was the evening after we checked out we received an email from the property stating that we needed to call and pay $25 for food and drinks that were consumed after we checked out. Kinda hard to consume items when you have already left the property. Not sure if it was a scam or someone charged it to a random room but they need a system to verify guests and room numbers

Genuine negative review. The welcome from reception staff was terrible, there was no “welcome to this hotel, we hope you enjoy your stay, can we help you with your bags” zero effort made. The girl on reception just said “passports” to us & grunted that our room wasn’t ready. May I add there was 3 staff members on reception & all 3 of them were on their personal mobile phones giving no attention to any of us checking in. We were exhausted from travelling & just wanted to shower etc. I acknowledge that check in is at 3pm & this was 2pm but I had to ask for towels to use the swimming / shower facilities this wasn’t immediately offered to us. The room when we eventually were allowed in still had wet & slippy floors & it was extremely tiny, with no view! To be honest the room would be better off used as a sore room. Very dates decor & again tiny!! The breakfast the next morning was very very poor. One of the worst I have seen, the “fresh” fruit was days old & surely unsafe to eat. There was no staff member to help with any questions etc. one coffee machine between all guests, just not 4 star quality at all. Check out was another negative experience - I asked if there was a service where the hotel could help bring out bags to the port (this was something I noticed other hotels on the island doing) I was laughed at & told no it’s €20 for a taxi. We weren’t asked how our stay was or else I would have commented on a few things, I didn’t get that opportunity. Overall,terrible!

This is a small hotel along the sea. It is away from the busy party atmosphere in town. The setting is beautiful, there is access to swim in the sea and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to provide transportation to and from the ferry dock given the distance. We will want to stay here again.

This place was amazing and super relaxing!! The rooms were clean and the service was amazing. The view from our room was amazing. Everything was clean and the food was delicious. Absolutely recommend.

The location was amazing, perfect views of the beautiful bay and the clear water. The room was large and comfortable and the balcony perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, service good. Lovely place for a romantic break and the beanbags by the sea so comfortable! The only slight negatives were the building is older and although tastefully decorated air con wasn’t brilliant and small thinks like no USB ports in rooms, and sometimes in the mornings empty wine glasses and drinks from the night before had not been tidied away

I recently stayed at the Podstine Hotel in Hvar, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the outdated appearance of the hotel room. The worn-out furniture and faded decor were a clear indication that the place was in dire need of a makeover. To make matters worse, the prices they charged were completely unjustified for what they offered. It felt like a classic case of "you get what you pay for," except we didn't get much at all. The value for money was abysmal, and it left a bitter taste in our mouths. But what truly shocked me was the lack of responsiveness from the management. We raised several concerns with Emilija during our stay – from broken amenities in our room and lack of working internet in the room and it seemed like our complaints fell on deaf ears. Despite our efforts to bring these problems to their attention, nothing was done to address them. It was as if they couldn't care less about their guests' satisfaction. The state of the rooms was a clear reflection of the overall neglect the hotel has suffered. Everything seemed worn down and poorly maintained. It was like staying in a place that had been forgotten by time. It's evident that the owners have let this once-promising establishment fall into disrepair, and the management's lack of accountability is truly concerning. The experience left me with the impression that they are more interested in taking your money. Don’t stay here!

Beautiful, clean property right on the water. Staff and service was outstanding.

Orbitz needs to investigate this hotel as the hotel is committing fraud representing as a four star hotel. A four star hotel has basic amenities: hair conditioner for the shower, hot water that lasts more than 2-3 minutes, a functioning air conditioning unit, an attached safe with working digits, door handles that don’t fall off, non-broken toilet paper holders, a mattress that is Better than a college dorm mattress. I have pictures for everything. This hotel should command 90-110 euros tops. Beautiful property and great staff. The most important item for a hotel is the room and this was a failure. The fact they are known issues makes me wonder if the hotel is going out of business as they are not interested in fixing the items that are easy to fix. I felt betrayed staying here and lied to. Four star means certain things. When I stay at a thee star I know what I am getting for that value. This hotel was barely a two star. Please don’t make the same mistake my family and I made.

Breakfast; 4/10 - very basic - nothing special at all . Fresh juices and other more "advanced" breakfast is expected for a hotel with this price level Location: Very nice location close to the water - but 20 minutes walk if you want to visit the city restaurants in Hvar. Gym: Need total refurbishment and replacement of non working mahcine - Cracks in the walls and broken mirrors. Air not good. SPA: not tested Room towards water: Very nice views, large shower /WC which is nice. But again refurbishment is required - feels old style . Beds not good. Test the beds at Ambasador in Split as a comparison (fabolous) Staff: Generally the staff were very good and professional - almost as good as it can be!!! Overall a good stay - but too expensive for the standard provided. Refurbishment could make this to a 5 star and then also keep the prices.
