"The view from the room (superior with ocean view) is incredible! The location is unbeatable. The layout and size of the room are odd. All the water came out of the shower, and the bathroom space was extremely cramped between the counter and the shower. That's the only thing I didn't like, as well as the fact that they didn't make any special arrangements for my husband even though I informed them in advance that we were celebrating his birthday. I also reminded the receptionist at check-in; they said they would see what they could do, but nothing happened. At breakfast, which was spectacular in quality and variety, there wasn't even a candle or a slice of cake to blow out the candles! I expected more service for the price of the room. And finally, it was extremely hot in the hallways and in the room. We couldn't turn off the air conditioning! The view, the facilities, and the location are incredible. The service should be improved."

"One of the best hotels on Hvar Island, it's only a 5-minute walk from the town center, very quiet, and has a swimming pool. The breakfast was plentiful, and the stay was very comfortable."

"This hotel should be demolished… very, very old-fashioned, the patio door didn't close properly. The buffet was terrible, it was like a school cafeteria… there weren't any chairs on the terrace, you had to go and get them yourself! The staff were friendly… but that's not enough!"

"We stayed for 2 nights in September. The Dela is a bit out of town--but don"t worry--Magda and Vincent will be sure to take care of getting you back and forth from town. The room had a great view with a balcony and the pool area had good vibes. Great breakfast on offer every day. The Dela was a great base for our stay on Hvar. Highly recommend."

"Myself and 3 other friends (Irish) stayed in Casa Di Lavanda for 7 nights and had the most exceptional stay. The apartment was spotless, extremely comfortable and really well equipped. There was an excellent complimentary cleaning service included which made the stay even more comfortable. Furthermore, the rooftop pool facilities were second to none, there are sun loungers and a full kitchenette and bathroom up there and a lovely coffee machine too. Ivan, the host, met us off the bus and drove us to the apartment so we didn’t have to carry out bags in the heat. Ivan’s attention to detail and care in maintaining the property is amazing, we are super thankful to him and his cleaning staff for making our star so enjoyable. The accommodation is also perfectly situated, close to the main town and all of the stunning beaches but quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. Overall I would highly recommend a stay in casa di Lavanda, we will be back! "

"Comfortable very clean apartment with everything we needed. Close to main square ( no stairs…..yea). Easy walk to cafes dinner ferry and main sites. The host was great, talked us through where to eat get coffee and what to see. A bonus he had a hire service where we could book cars bikes at a discount when staying with him. I would highly recommend staying here."

"I stayed at the residence Casa di Elisa on advice of a friend, and it was a perfect experience! The hotel is comfortable, the clean and well furnished rooms, and the location is ideal: on a hill from which you can see the beautiful sea, but with the centre of Hvar city reachable quickly also walking. The staff was always available and friendly, making my stay even more pleasant. In addition, the quality-price ratio is excellent, which is not expected on an island. I am very advised the house of Elisa and I will surely come back!"
