Lovely hotel with 24 hour reception (English speakers) . The hotel also has a lift. Restaurant Mostly Turkish food served in the restaurant but it's Turkey and the majority of guests here are Turkish. I'm a vegetarian, the restaurant manger spoke English and would ask me what I wanted to eat and the chef would make it for me. There were plenty of meat dishes chicken, turkey, sausage, meatballs (square!), fish also soups, chips, salad, pasta & rice etc, there was a lovely selection of cakes and fruit at meals. For breakfast you could have fried, boiled or scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast and traditional Turkish breakfast items. Coffee/tea-cay & drinks etc were available all day Hotel/Rooms The balcony has 2 chairs and a table, there was also a drying rail attached to the wall. Nice clean bathroom with hair dryer. Telephone in room, flat screen TV and air con unit above the bed. The room was cleaned every day and bottled water was left. Key card to enter your room. I had a triple room to myself. My room was on the third floor near the Irish Bar and Blues Brothers Bar but I got used to hearing the music outside and it really didn't bother me. There is a fridge in the wardrobe which would be better outside the wardrobe in the room somewhere as it made the wardrobe really warm, they could also do with more than 5 hangers in the wardrobe but with the fridge being in there I don't suppose there is really any more room for extra clothes. The safe (key lock) is in the other wardrobe which is shelves, the safe - £10 refundable deposit per week. The hotel has a free Wellness Spa (Turkish Bath, Steam Room & Sauna) they also have a fitness room. Lovely hotel pool with tiled steps down into pool, the tiled steps could do with a tall hand rail all the way down into the water as it's needed for balance for some people and once the water bubbles start it's hard to see the steps, they have beautiful rattan sunbeds by the pool but no sunbed pads/cushions on them which made them really uncomfortable after a while even with putting my own thick towels on them (the beds on their section of their beach have pads on them so I'm told). The hotel give out thick yellow towels (with a deposit) for the beds but I took my own. The pool bar is open all day, the guy there speaks English. Late check-out is available (ask on morning of departure) £20 for 4 hours or £30 for 6 hours, really handy if you have an evening flight. There is also a luggage room. The hotel is really close to the shops, restaurants and bars and the beach. I could go on and on at how much I enjoyed staying here, it was a lovely hotel and I hope to return here to stay again. I believe Verde Hotel içmeler is an excellent destination for a relaxing family holiday. The hotel I stayed at stood out with its immaculate rooms, delicious cuisine, attentive and youthful staff, all under expert management. In my opinion, it's among the top hotels in its category in Marmaris.

In May 2022 we looked at booking a two week holiday for July 2023 and saw the Verde Hotel on the Love Holidays website. We've been to Içmeler many times before but never stayed at this Hotel. We knew of it when it was previously called the Idaş Park Hotel and before that, the S-Hotel. Although the Verde Hotel was not the cheapest all-inclusive hotel in Içmeler, it was far from being the most expensive. So we thought we'd give it a go, and booked it! Then we read the Tripadvisor reviews! OMG, what had we done? It was a long year worrying whether we'd booked the right hotel? On our arrival at the Verde Hotel, at 2am, we entered the lobby. Although we were very tired, the crisp, fresh and spacious appearance of the lobby gave us a 'Wow!' factor. We were welcomed by an English speaking night porter who, wearing a white shirt with the Verde logo on it, looked smart and professional. Under his direction, check-in was efficient and he secured Verde Hotel all-inclusive bands to our wrists. Finally, he accompanied us to the lift, to floor 3 and to our room! A room key resembling a credit card unlocked the door to our room... our home for the next two weeks. Although our room was well appointed and clean, it was not the largest hotel room we've stayed in. The room had a double bed and a single bed, which reduced the floor area a little but as we used the single bed as a large table to lay out our possessions, it didn't upset us. On this point, although the room had a safety deposit box we didn't use it choosing instead to leave expensive electrical items on the single bed. These items were never touched by cleaning staff let alone taken. Some may say this was foolish, but we had complete confidence in the hotel staff that our possessions were safe. The beds were very firm, we like a firm bed, and looked new. The room had a tv, but we never used it, a safety deposit box, which we also didn't use, a kettle with sachets of tea and coffee, we did use these... but took our own kettle as we couldn't see one mentioned on the Verde Hotel or Love Holidays website. During past holidays to Turkey we've often bought bottled water as it's not recommended to drink the tap water. However, to our pleasant surprise bottled water was left daily in our room for drinking and making tea and coffee. Inside the bathroom there was a hairdryer, a walk in shower with glass screen - no tatty shower curtain - and a toilet. Good quality thick curtains were drawn over the net curtain behind the sliding door onto the balcony. Drawing back the heavy curtains the next morning, we discovered we looked out south west from the balcony, that is away from the sea towards the Old Village. It meant the balcony was in shade in the morning, a cooler temperature for an early cup of tea in the morning... so we did!!! The condition of the Verde Hotel building and the professionalism of its staff bore no resemblance to many of the reviews that have been written about it on Tripadvisor

Just returned from a week at the Verde Hotel. On arrival it was clear that the hotel was in severe need if some TLC. On our first day I requested that maintenance fix our door as it would not lock. My husband also had to fix the shower. We only had breakfast at the hotel and ate out for lunch and dinner due to the limited offer and poor quality of food available. The day before our departure I collected some jewellery for a friend along with an hand made white gold pendent for my granddaughter. As we had no safe in the room and was leaving the following day I placed the jewellery at the bottom of a closed suitcase FULL of dirty washing. The following morning as we continued to pack I instantly noticed that the jewellery had gone! On approaching reception they instantly informed me that their staff had not entered our room as we had apparently placed "do not disturb" on our room door. However on returning to our room that prior day it was clear that house keeping had made the beds? Conveniently this was logged in a book on reception? This statement was untrue I requested that the hotel call the police, I also made a request to review CCTV, both requests were declined. The hotel were no helpful what so ever and showed no interest. I therefore called the police who were extremely helpful. This meant spending a morning at marmaris police station making a statement to which I was happy to do so that the theft was logged for future reference for other holiday makers staying at the Verde. Please be mindful when staying at The Verde that your property is also theirs!!!!

First day we arrived shown to our room ,well what can I say the balcony was so small but we said we can live with that but the floor was filthy and it wasn't recent dirt it looked like it had been like that for months, mini bar what a joke that was we had a bottle of water the first day then nothing again for the 2 weeks , we went and closed the door and the handle came off so went to reception I think he was the maintenance man came and shoved the handle back on so we was careful how we closed the door from then on. Food well what can I say diabolical comes to mind food was put out half hour before the buffet opened so was always cold we only ate in twice out of 14 days it was that bad couldn't describe what the food was . The pool was cleaned only once in 14 days the pool area is dirty the servery where they serve the pide bread is filthy I'm surprised they haven't got rats it's that bad. Bar asked for a diet coke they dont serve it well they don't serve much really not a well stocked bar, be careful going to the lobby bar if your all inclusive you have to pay only AI at the pool bar . Staff a big shout out to ilker he goes above and beyond to help you if he can he's a fantastic young man and I hope he goes far in life and achieves his goals always smiling , another young lad only 16 very good worker hope he goes far, all the staff work hard . The majority of customers staying here are turkish very few british customers . This as got to be the worst hotel I've stayed in , I read the reviews before I booked and I wish I had taken on board the negative ones so if your thinking of booking please book somewhere else and save your self some money. Lastly I complained to the rep and he didn't want to know he could have moved us to another hotel but we would have to pay extra we'd already paid enough for this excuse of an hotel .

I visited here in July 2022. It was a Turkish national holiday when I stayed there so I would say it was 99% full of Turkish guests when I visited. The pool was lovely and there is a children's part to the pool as well. There is a lift (this is quite small) There's a fridge in your room, it's in the wardrobe! and the safe is in the other wardrobe (shelves), there's a dressing table, flat screen TV on the wall, phone by your bed and in the bathroom. The cleaners were there most days from what I could see and the room was spotless. I had a double bed in my room. The bathroom was lovely, it had a hairdryer with good heat, the showers were always hot with good power. I had a room at the back of the hotel so the only noise I heard was from the pool bar. The hotel wifi wasn't the best. The balcony is small and has 2 chairs and a small square table. The hotel itself could do with painting and is tired in places. The choice of food in the restaurant wasn't always suitable for me (Vegetarian) but I always found something to eat. The staff were lovely, there was a slight language barrier but I got by and it didn't affect my stay at all. They do offer late check out if your room is available (payable) or there is a luggage room for you to leave your case. All inclusive drinks in the evening are by the pool bar, the bar at the entrance to the hotel The Verde Terrace Bar is not run by the hotel and therefore you pay for your drink there, I sat in The Verde Terrace Bar most nights and didn't mind paying for my drinks as I like people watching and I only drink soft drinks anyway. The hotel is in a lovely position not far from the beach/shops. Would I stay there again, yes I would.

Having booked this hotel as a last minute booking for 21 days, all inclusive basis as a solo traveller I was a little apprehensive due to previous reviews. IGNORE ANY POOR REVIEWS! Arrived at approx 9pm . Greeted immediately by professional staff and welcomed warmly. Informed me that I could call 0 on the phone at anytime if I needed help. Asked If I was familiar with Turkey and the area. Immediately made me , as a solo traveller feel safe and in a secure environment. They sent me a plate of cold picky bits and beautiful turkish bread to my room and ensured I had bottled water. Advised me the bar was open also downstairs untill 11pm if I wished to have a drink. Room spotlessly clean and comfortable. Shower is excellent. Balcony is small but certainly adequate for my needs! Wifi coverage is excellent! Tv in the room currently does not have any English channels but if you have a smartphone it really isnt a problem. Pool area again is spotlessly clean just like the hotel! And good sunbeds! Not those plastic white ones that seem to be collapsing all the time ! Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. They are a credit to the owner! Food is Turkish style ... thank god .. Im in Turkey! Fresh , tasty and well presented. Frankly , it is cheap enough to eat out if you fancy a change in my opinion. Drinks are fine. Ive had a couple of beers and a vodka lemonade. Currently no snack bar but they dont really need it yet as start of season and literally a handful of guests here. But Im certain that also will be good. There is only one small downside here. The noise from a local business of an evening... BUT, I just watch whatever on my phone and simply drop off. And after a few days of unwinding I hope to be out there joining in ! And its very good to hear people enjoying their holidays and lives after the previous 2 years we have all endured! I really wish this hotel well. Loveholidays, onthebeach etc please update your reviews to include this current review. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. It has everything you need delivered in a professional manner and is spotlessly clean! Ps 5 min walk to beach , centrally located.

1 week all inclusive for 2 females (mum & adult daughter) Currently staying at the hotel which I think is the best time to review. We arrived 3am. Welcomed by a lovely reception man. Gave us an information sheet with all times of meals snacks & drinks. You are given the WiFi password which is free of charge. Rooms- clean, basic size, 2 single beds en-suite. Wardrobe & shelf’s, safe box (£10 extra charge) air conditioning free. Balcony is small only 2 chairs & table fit. We had land view not much to look at only other hotels & pub. Enter room by key card only given one when checking in. If need another it’s £10 extra. Room was cleaned every day. Clean towels & toilet roll if required. Also bottled water was in the small fridge was replaced every day. Also a kettle, cups with teas & coffee are in the room. Food- mainly Turkish food (yes we are in Turkey so that don’t bother us) Breakfast usual continental style something for everyone. Fresh boiled eggs, scrambled eggs with a sausage through it. Salads fresh bread. Coffee, tea, fruit juice. Lunch- soups, meat choice of main course, rice, chips, fried chicken, mixed veg, selection of fresh salads and fresh breads. Snack at 2.30, normally beef burgers & chips, Pastry cake selections at 5pm Dinner- much the same as lunch but they do a grill choice like fish they cook it in front of you. Drinks available all day alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks served til 11pm. The staff work very hard all day & everyone is nice. Always welcomed with a hello. Location of the hotel is ideal. Near all amenities. Beach is a stone throw away, hotel have their own section with sun loungers & parasols all free. If you want drinks or food you need to pay for that. Bars & restaurants are all within walking distance. Main Street is round the corner. The pool is a good size no deep end. Plenty sunbeds. We found that at anytime of the day we got a sunbed. There is no entertainment at the pool just music from the bar, which isn’t the best but a variety. Air pods & phone was fine for us. On talking to the local people. They were surprised that we are staying at verde due to the fact it’s normally only Turkish who use the hotel. During our stay here it is only Turkish guests staying, we seem to the only British people which is nice makes it feel more like a holiday ( we don’t have the Karen’s & Mike’s complaining about stupid stuff lol). When we are out & about we chat with other Brit’s. Over all stay at the hotel has been lovely, staff are nice, hotel room is clean & big enough for 2. Don’t be put off by other reviews book it & come & see for yourself. Icmeler is beautiful, 1st time here & we will return. Every bar has WiFi just ask for the password.
