Silver Hill Lodge

We had a great stay, the staff were fantastic and really helpful. The location was beautiful. The food was tasty and the cooks were ready to accommodate a fussy eater. My husband went fishing on a very wet day, but eventually caught a rainbow with Mike's guidance. Walking routes are well marked and varied. Thoroughly recommend Silver Hill Lodge.

I did travel many destinations during the last 10 years but South Africa remains on top of my list for various reasons : Nature and Landscape, Easy to Travel destination, Value for Many but first of all I come back because of South african Hospitality as demonstrated in places like like Silverhill LodgE. Couple, Brazil, December 2023. Our experience was incredible! From the moment we arrived, we lived the "make yourselves at home" vibe, albeit in a much more beautiful and cozier setting than our usual one! We spent 3 days at the hotel and left with a huge desire to have stayed longer! The rooms are beautiful, spacious, with a lovely view of the mountains. The food is delicious, you can feel with every bite that it was made with so much care! But the absolute highlight for us was the staff. They were all extremely attentive, kind, truly going above and beyond to make the guests feel as comfortable as possible. If I could give one tip to those planning to stay, it's this: talk to the hotel staff as much as you can. I felt like I was chatting with longtime friends; we didn't want to go to sleep just to keep talking, haha. They explained local cultures, gave tips on outings and activities, and were extremely attentive in every interaction! I can only express gratitude for the incredible experience our stay was. I wholeheartedly recommend it with closed eyes and a warm heart.

We attended a wedding in the Kamberg and booked in for the night at Silver Hill Lodge. The accommodation is simple, but the linen crisp white and the towels fat and fluffy. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was substantial and so delicious!! The staff are super friendly, always happy to assist and everyone there made us feel like family. Would highly recommend a visit.

Truly wonderful and welcoming staff, we were greeted outside on arrival and escorted through to our rooms, both of us pleasantly surprised at the spectacular views. After settling into our rooms we were given a tour through the facilities, a very warm and homely feeling throughout. The food is without a doubt first class. Again a big thank you to all the staff who are very friendly and quick to help. Making sure dad I received the very best service. 5 stars all the way. We had a welcome feeling in Most beautiful Mountain setting Hosts ate wonderful and helping people. Food is Made with love ASK for the SAN rock paintings and hikes. You will certainly relax over here.

A wonderful experience all round. Beautiful property with friendly hosts who made you feel part of the family. Top notch meals. Lovely comfortable room. A peaceful relaxing place to just chill, unwind and escape the hussle and bustle of the city

Loved our stay at Silver Hill Lodge. The views are incredible, the location is very good for unplugging from the day to day hectic life. The hosts - Anthea, Dennie, Justin and the whole team are very attentive. Definitely recommend it, Justina & David

Wonderful lodge with a family run feel in the most incredibly beautiful location. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Good for couples but also families with young children. Lots of spectacular walks to do in the area. Spacious and comfortable accommodation with good home cooked food. Don't miss the world heritage reserve 5km up the road- spectacular. And grab a beer with Justin at the bar, one time ranked 4th in the world in Karate!
