Interlaken Hotels with Wifi

"We booked a room with shared toilet but paid more to changed to a room with private toilet. The room is excellent because we got the view of the mountains everyday. Was contemplating to stay between Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West, but i was travelling with an elderly so this is the best option. Interlaken OST station is a v good transport base for most places in Switzerland. Interlaken West is convenient too but u'd need to take a short bus ride down to the main station. There's alot of buses that are relatively frequent. However as my mother cant walk far, this is the best coz it is very walkable to the train station. There is a lift to all the floors and luggage storage is available. Our included Breakfast is good (meat, cheese, bread, eggs, yoghurt, conflakes, tea, coffee, etc). There's a dinner set menu (need to pay of course) tt changes every night. The food is food and is relatively cheaper if u have the set meal of the day. Would stay here again. There's a big Coop opposite also. However if u'd like more shopping... Interlaken West has more shops but they usually close abt 7pm. There's dinner places there that closes abt 11pm. If you're thinking if where to stay, i think if u have an elderly that cant walk much, Interlaken Ost."

"Please note: This hotel strictly enforces a 3 PM check-in time, so plan your arrival accordingly. If you arrive early, don't worry – you can store your luggage and go explore. Location: It's about a 10-minute walk from the West Station. There's a bus stop right outside, but buses only come every half hour, so plan your public transport carefully. Facilities: This is a typical wooden lodge, which means soundproofing isn't great. The wooden floors creak so much it feels like the whole room vibrates when you walk. You can clearly hear people walking upstairs, downstairs, and doors closing in the hallway. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic and all seemed quite young. I booked a twin room but was given a double. When I went to the front desk, the girl realized she couldn't separate the beds, so she gave us a room upstairs, which I guess was an upgrade. The room was very spacious. Cleanliness: All the hotels I've stayed in Switzerland have been impeccably clean. However, the water here – when boiled, it had limescale and residue. I had to spit out the plain water I drank! Breakfast was small but good. I loved the toast with butter, and the large bread with salami and cheese. Swiss boiled eggs are absolutely delicious!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Weisses Kreuz and would highly recommend it. The location is absolutely excellent — right in the heart of town with everything within walking distance. There are plenty of amenity shops, restaurants, and attractions just steps away, making it incredibly convenient. Parking was straightforward as well. There is nearby parking available, and payment applies from 7am onwards. We found the parking spaces to be relatively spacious, which was a plus. Cars can’t really drive into the hotel so we were a bit lost initially The receptionist was such an amazing lady — warm, welcoming, and professional. She kindly upgraded us to a corner room that was bigger than what we had originally booked, which we really appreciated. The room itself was comfortable, and we especially loved having a bathtub — it made the stay extra relaxing after a long day out. They were very thoughtful. They gave us chocolate on the bed. Thats sweet. There are lift for our heavy luggage as well. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Considering that breakfast is included in the price, we felt it was very good value for money. The only small note is that the corridor lighting is quite dim, which can make it feel a little heavy or subdued. However, the overall atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and lively, with what seemed like a high occupancy rate — clearly a popular choice. Overall, this is a very well-located, comfortable hotel offering great value. We would gladly stay here again."

"The room was clean and tidy, with a well-thought-out layout, and a small balcony offering nice mountain views, including paragliders. Facilities: Although the bathroom was not large, it was very convenient to use, showing great attention to detail in its design. The breakfast was quite rich and the food was healthy. There's also a communal dining area with self-heating facilities, so you can buy food and heat it up yourself. The owner was very hospitable, proactively asking about our stay, which made us feel right at home."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of town with a supermarket nearby, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. They also have a small elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage around, which is a huge plus! I really enjoyed the lovely snacks provided, as well as the coffee and tea bags. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's pretty standard for a four-star hotel."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Interlaken Station. The breakfast is very rich, and it's also very close to the supermarket. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently helped me when I encountered an issue paying for the room that day."

"This is an old-fashioned hotel with over a hundred years of history in the area. It's a combination of two classical hotel buildings, a modern central lobby and restaurant built more recently, and a two-story modern apartment-style accommodation at the back. The two classical hotel buildings are Carlton and Europe. Their interiors have been largely optimized for modern needs. The current hotel owners, while renovating, had to adhere to government regulations for preserving the antique structure. However, the rest of the amenities have been modernized as much as possible, with original wood flooring used for repairs and replacements. Overall, it's a very good hotel! Breakfast is buffet-style, but the selection is essentially a Swiss-European breakfast: yogurt, bread and jam, juice, hot tea and coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pan-fried shredded potatoes, fruit, and various cheeses and cold cuts. For tourists not accustomed to Western-style meals, it might be a bit challenging. The restaurant also offers additional egg dishes or other options for an extra charge – but you have to pay more! The location is very convenient. Right outside is Interlaken Ost station, the starting point for various attractions in the Alps. You can even take a boat from here to the small town of Brienz, or to Iseltwald, famous for the Korean drama 'Crash Landing on You.' Both the pier and the small castle are stunning scenic spots. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a free bus pass, allowing you to take buses to explore various towns. This is different from the mountain trains and cable cars, which require extra payment to go up the mountains quickly. Generally, most attractions stop going up the mountain after 5 PM, so it's best to start early in the morning to make good use of your time! However, this hotel still has its drawbacks. For example, while the water supply is comprehensive, the hot and cold water stability is very poor. Turning on the hot water can be scalding, and sometimes it suddenly turns cold mid-shower, then becomes super hot again. The showering experience is quite subpar! Each guest room uses a classical keyhole lock for opening and closing the door. There's no modern double-bolt lock; you have to lock the door from the inside with the door key. The upside is that once locked from the inside, the keyhole is filled by the key, preventing anyone from picking the lock from the outside. When you go out and lock up, the heavy key can be left in the mail slot at the front desk, or entrusted to the front desk for safekeeping, in a classic manner! Most importantly, this hotel does not allow children! According to the owner's vision, he wants this hotel to be adult-focused, allowing busy people to enjoy their own time while traveling and recharging, rather than having to take care of children during their vacation. This way, adults can truly live for themselves. Therefore, this hotel does not allow guests under 16 years old. If you plan to book with children, please look for accommodation elsewhere – it's better for both parties! Overall, this is a good place for mature individuals to stay, perfect for those focused on enjoying mountain excursions. Who wouldn't want to return to their hotel immediately after coming down the mountain to rest?"

"The hotel is located nearby the train station (around 5-10mins walk) and there are many supermarkets nearby. The hotel staff is super friendly, and has a very cheerful personality. Loved the fact that they provide water/tea/coffee options at their lobby, and they provide cutleries too (important if you purchase takeout sometimes). The view from the room is pretty nice."

"It was a very nice hotel. The staff at the reception were wonderful and spoke English. They even gave me some chocolates. I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly let me into my room. They also gave me a larger room than the one I had booked. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear voices from the next room—something to keep in mind when talking. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this hotel."
