Driving through western Sichuan, passing through Ma'erkang, we chose this Songzan Linka Guesthouse, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Located at the foot of Changlie Temple, away from the noise of the main roads, the guesthouse boasts a spacious courtyard and convenient parking. The rooms were impeccably clean, free of dampness or odors, with a reliable hot water supply and soft mattresses—perfect for a relaxing rest after a long day. The owner was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the courtyard offered a tranquil escape, allowing us to glimpse the serenity of the Jiarong ******* region. The location is superb, just a 20-minute drive from Changlie Temple, making it ideal for those seeking a quiet getaway and to experience the natural beauty of the ******* mountains. It's not a grand hotel, but a cozy courtyard retreat—highly recommended for those who appreciate a rustic atmosphere.

I booked Hanting for a business trip. The stay was very nice. The front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was very rich. Maerkang is a good place with blue sky, white clouds and snow-capped mountains. I will choose this place again next time I go on a business trip.

Convenient parking, very close to Markang Stadium (requires walking through a small path, which the staff proactively pointed out, see the last picture). Knowing I was running the Markang half-marathon, they offered complimentary breakfast and opened early at 6:30 AM (normally 7:30 AM). The hotel lobby also had free tea and coffee.

The living environment is very good, the price-performance ratio is very high, the breakfast is rich, the transportation is convenient, the rooms are all made of solid wood furniture, there is no odor, the space is comfortable and breathable, there is heating, and the security is very good.
