From the river view rooms, you can open the window and enjoy panoramic views of the river and the scenery on the opposite bank. The thoughtful addition of binoculars in the room is a nice touch. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was warm and attentive. You can walk to the riverside pier to enjoy the night views, making it a great choice for a trip to Dandong."

"Looking at the description, it seems the hotel opened in 2017, and upon arrival, the decor did feel a bit dated. However, the hygiene and facilities were quite good. The front desk staff, especially the younger gentlemen and ladies, had an absolutely fantastic service attitude! They even gave gifts to kids. The location is excellent; turn left out of the hotel, and you're at the Yalu River in less than a hundred meters, with Sinuiju, North Korea, directly opposite. The Broken Bridge is within walking distance, and a taxi to Andong Old Street costs around ten yuan. There's a parking lot entrance to the left of the hotel entrance – the road leading in is a bit rough, but there are plenty of spaces inside, though it can get crowded. Just remember to ask the front desk for a parking voucher before you head out. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍👍"

"This hotel near Dandong Station is quite new. The room was very clean, and the facilities were modern, including a TV with screen mirroring. However, the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the TV from the next room, and the sound of doors closing before 6 AM was really frustrating."

"Bad review! Bad review! Bad review! 1. The front desk staff had an extremely poor attitude. I seriously doubt if this is a fake Atour Hotel. The front desk attendant gave me two cards but didn't inform me that one was for power and not the room key. When I went downstairs with the power card and couldn't get back up, I went to the front desk for help, but instead of an apology, I was met with blame, asking why I didn't look at the card, and their attitude was extremely rude. Another staff member even chimed in. This is the first time I've encountered such front desk staff. As an elderly person who travels frequently, I really can't understand why the front desk staff, who failed to provide proper information, were so self-righteous? 2. The room given by the front desk was next to a residential building, only about 2 meters away; it was too close. 3. The towels and other amenities were quite old; I recommend bringing your own towels."

"I was very satisfied with my stay here. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's right next to Xin Yibai Department Store, and just a short walk from Dandong Railway Station, the bus station, and Korea Street. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and they were always quick to respond to any requests, even proactively guiding us. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept very soundly every night. The facilities are comprehensive and brand new. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit."

Huge thanks to the front desk attendant for upgrading us to a hot spring room! We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking view of the Yalu River and distant mountains, just like a traditional Chinese painting. Waking up early, I got to watch the stunning sunrise from the room, which really boosted my mood. The room's details were thoughtfully designed, and it was spotlessly clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows even had narrow side vents that could be opened, letting in a refreshing breeze from the river. All the staff, including the doorman, front desk, and the lovely Korean staff in the breakfast restaurant, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. For breakfast, they had options like red soup sea cucumber noodles and chicken soup abalone noodles, Swiss rolls, and fresh Dandong strawberries and blueberries. The food and fruit were all of excellent quality – definitely a great choice.

To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away.

The location is great, not far from the train station, Jinjiangshan Park, and the Yalu River. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was quite rich, with everything you'd expect. The only minor drawback was that the fried rice was unsalted. Overall, it was a pleasant trip.

The room was very spacious, which was great since we had a child; we could push the two beds together. The bathroom has a bathtub, so you can bring a disposable tub liner for a bath. The Starlight Hot Spring Bath ticket: The bathhouse was very good, and the scrubbing and milk bath service was excellent. Suggestion: When a family of three checks in, it would be helpful to proactively provide an extra pair of slippers and toothbrushes. Currently, everything is set up for two people, and we had to call the front desk to request additional items, which was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is very close to the railway station, 10 min walk to the promenade, Broken Bridge and Piers, there’s a small park next to the hotel with dancing fountains and illuminated street at night ( looks wow!), easy to reach restaurants, stores and shops, where you can buy goods produced in DPRK. Before talking to the receptionist , better get ready your phone translator if you’re not fluent in Chinese, they didn’t seem very friendly and hospitable, the house keeping lady was more hello-hi and smiling, helped me to find the dashboard in my room to switch the lights:). By the way , the toilet surprised me with warm mode and some more functions you’ll check by yourself ( especially ladies:)). Breakfast….even for Chinese locals and hotel rating it looked poor and not delicious.Perhaps, it’s only my opinion, but I was disappointed and left the hotel restaurant half hungry.The hotel room is quite cozy and spacious, the mattress is not soft , but comfy for sleeping.Recommend it for short stay, 2-3 days, but for budget travelers, it’s not the option. Happy journey!

This hotel was perfect. Walking distance from everything, the staff were extremely friendly, and the room was clean and nice. The only thing I can think of was that my tv didn’t work, but that could have been my fault because I never asked for help with it.

The triangular hut is very novel. It is fully equipped and clean. The only drawback is that the water in the bathroom is slow and water accumulates easily. The environment is very natural, there is a stream next to the room, and the water is very clear. The only drawback is that the park has not yet been completed, the price is a bit high, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. The service staff are very enthusiastic and kind. Although the breakfast is simple, it tastes good and is clean.

I recently stayed at this hostel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, making it easy to meet other travelers from all over the world.
