"The room was fantastic, and the owner was incredibly kind. He even sent me travel guides and helped me rent a super-discounted electric scooter. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room. The view of the ocean was soothing. The B&B is very close to the waterfront. Ordering takeout was also super convenient, as it's located in an upscale residence. "The good service of all the front desk staff (e.g., xiao li, gan yu, xiao huang and the lady wearing glasses) and house keeping staff on 5th floor (my feedback on guests' noise and cigarette smoke was dealt with promptly) more than makes up for the older facilities and rather unfriendly hotel design to elderly/handicap persons, e.g., steep slopes.
To be fair, it is a hotel built in the 1980s and probably undergone a major renovation quite sometime ago. It is generally reliable for first time or repeat visitors to Dongshan Island. The toothbrush, comb, shampoo and bath gel are of good quality. The breakfast staff are also friendly and helpful. And the tea twigs air purifiers placed on each floor are great!

"The owner of the B&B is very friendly and welcoming. We had children, which was a bit awkward, so the owner biked to the check-in area to help us get our luggage to the intersection. A huge thumbs-up! The B&B has a beautiful view, and a small sofa was a great addition for our family of four, which the owner helped make. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. While a bit small, they're perfectly accommodating and convenient. Down the street from the B&B is a path with a view of the sea, a popular spot for internet celebrities. We took our children to the beach, but they forgot their beach gear in the car, so the owner brought them along for free. The service was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent, with disposable bath towels and hand towels provided."

"Next time I come to Dongshan, I will stay at the hotel. The health and breakfast are very good. I bring the elderly and children to play. Safety first. I arrived at Dongshan on the second night. I chose the sea view apartment first. It was dirty and messy. There was no place for parking. I cancelled the order decisively. At 9 pm, I chose this Sands Cadre Hotel to stay. GGuest UserLocated at the end of Nanmen Bay, on the upper left of Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Area, the room we stayed in has no noise mirrors and looks like it is in the scenic area. The super invincible sea view, we can take postcard-like photos on our own private balcony. In terms of geographical location, other B&Bs or hotels on Dongshan Island may really not be able to compare with his home. In terms of the luxury of the room, many B&Bs I have stayed in in China are really not on the same level as his home. The decoration in the room is simple but high-end, and many equipment and furniture are imported (so although the room fee has been collected, pre-authorization is still required). His shower room is one of the few hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in in China that will not leak. The projector also has a high-definition picture. There are many snacks in the room. Basically, you don’t want to go out when you stay in the room, because the beautiful sea view can make you lie on the rocking chair on the balcony for an afternoon. It’s really a bit like our vacation in Seychelles or Six Senses Yao Noi.
Because it is relatively hidden, it is a little far from the parking and commercial areas (many restaurants are in this area), and the owner of the B&B will drive a battery car to pick you up. The B&B is not far from the only remaining ancient street in Dongshan, and there are many snack shops and small restaurants on the ancient street. Go to the lower left after leaving the B&B, and you will see many piers where fishing boats are moored after passing the Fengdongshi ticket office. The more famous Fish Ball Grandma on the island is nearby. His Liufu fish balls, peanut sesame cakes and meat dumplings are delicious.
The B&B does not provide breakfast, but you can take it out, which is not inconvenient.
The main thing here is the high-end rooms and the unbeatable sea view. The most important thing is that dogs are also welcome. My two short legs also like it here very much.

The floor was bright and reflective. There was no dust in the corners of the room. The bedding exudes a faint fragrance of sunshine, which makes people particularly at ease. The facilities are all available, smart toilets, oversized projection screens, washing machines with drying functions, fully meet the various needs of travel and life. The service is even more impeccable. The boss not only picked us up at the intersection in person, but also prepared local special refreshments and handwritten play guides. AAnonymous UserWe brought our two children and stayed in a king-size bed room with a bathtub, which was very convenient for showering. The room overlooked the ocean and the sunrise. There were plenty of parking spaces downstairs, which was convenient and affordable! We only had one day and still had several attractions to explore. We highly recommend this B&B, as the room was clean and tidy!

__M1300391****The old hotel has been successfully renovated. It's in a great location, quiet, and clean. Breakfast is included, and the bedding is spotless. However, the disposable items, including toothbrush, shower cap, and slippers, are the same old ones. The shower cap even looks like it's been recycled. The front desk service needs improvement. The room phone is just a decoration, and I can't dial the front desk or housekeeping. The shower gel and shampoo don't have the manufacturer or brand written on them.
