"Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel. It's clearly been renovated, and the hard furnishings are solid. However, it retains some traditional hotel drawbacks: not enough power outlets and poorly designed ones, plus unstable Wi-Fi. There's only one bedside table, not an inch more. The lighting control buttons are so worn you can't read the text, and the design is strange; I never did find the hallway light. The breakfast was truly odd – it seemed abundant at first glance, but then you start to question it. There was a very limited selection of Chinese pastries. The bacon, wherever they sourced it, tasted like sausage no matter what, which was very strange. Considering the price, it's acceptable, but by five-star standards, it felt like they just barely met the mark."

"The hotel’s entrance is hidden from the street. It is in the parking lot behind the building. Guests smoke a lot, so the cigarette smoke smell lingered in the lobby all the time. My room had faint cigarette smell. The bed is good, and the noise from the outside is expected because of the location. The laundry room was useful. The breakfast was okay when you factor in the size of the hotel."

The hotel amenities were all there, and the surrounding area has decent shops and restaurants, making it convenient for food and shopping. However, there's one issue: I specifically booked a kids' room for my child, mentioning my concern about smoke smell (due to a child and pregnant woman), but when we got to the room, it still smelled of smoke..."

"The overall experience of staying this time was very smooth. It was more than 3 kilometers away from Liupanshui Station and it took ten minutes to take a taxi. A few steps out is the ancient town of Shuicheng. It is very convenient to go to the night view and eat the pot. The room has enough hot water, Wi-Fi is stable, and the price is very online. It is too suitable to choose here for self-driving to escape the summer heat. There is free parking and there is no need to find parking spaces everywhere. The room was cleaned very clean, and it was very quiet to sleep at night. After visiting Fengchi Garden, it was not a few steps back to the hotel. The whole was very worry-free. The location is really a plus, backed by the ancient town next to Fengchi Garden, there are big supermarkets and food courts around. The facilities renovated in 2020 are not old, the 24-hour front desk responds quickly, and it is very comfortable to live here for a short trip. This time I came to Liupanshui to escape the heat and chose this one, which exceeded expectations overall. The location is on the edge of Zhongshan Avenue. It takes less than 20 minutes to drive from the high-speed rail station. It takes a few steps to enter the entrance of the ancient town. There is no need to drag luggage around the alley. The room has enough space, the hot water is fast, the tiredness of washing away the ancient town for a day is very comfortable, and the free parking is particularly friendly to self-driving tourists. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the viewing balcony has an optimized space layout. The owner of the B&B is warm and hospitable, actively helping the elderly, and taking them to nearby scenic spots and Liuzhi Station for free. He helps the elderly go up and down stairs, get on and off the bus, accompanies the elderly for meals, and picks them up and drops them off. This B&B is particularly good, with beautiful scenery, and the owner of the B&B embodies traditional Chinese virtues!

The chair in the room was broken; they hadn't noticed it despite the daily cleaning. I almost fell off when I sat on it. I reported it to the front desk, and they said they would replace the chair. However, I still waited for more than ten minutes before a staff member came to ask if the chair had been replaced. I said no, and it wasn't brought over for another two or three minutes.

Smoke smell! The whole corridor, the room is filled with the smell of smoking! ! It is not recommended to bring a baby family and people who are sensitive to the smell of smoke! Perfect spot to stay before Wumeng Prairie—great food, friendly service, and a cozy vibe! Location: The hotel is conveniently located not far from the entrance of Wumeng Prairie, though it’s a bit farther from the exit. I’d recommend staying here the night before entering Wumeng Prairie. The area feels quite remote, as it’s in a small town, which gives it a peaceful atmosphere. Food: They serve a delicious breakfast, all cooked by the hotel owner couple themselves. You can even order lunch and dinner from them. I especially loved their eggplant dish! Service: The service was excellent. There’s no elevator since the hotel only has a few floors, but a strong young lady helped carry our luggage up to the room, which was much appreciated. When we had a car issue, the hotel owner kindly came to help us figure it out. The kindness from the Guizhou people has been a highlight of our trip. Room: We loved our room—it had a cozy couch and a separate sleeping area. There was no air conditioning, but it wasn’t needed as the weather inside was cool and comfortable.

The service was excellent; they were responsive to every request. Whether it was replenishing drinking water, getting extra face towels, or more hangers, all our needs were met within 5 minutes – fantastic! The room decor matched the pictures almost perfectly, and the projector worked great. We even caught the World Cup finals and semi-finals during our stay without any viewing issues. The hotel's surroundings are lively, with the Xingyun Night Market just across the street, and most dining options are within a walkable kilometer. The hotel has a dedicated parking lot, but it's not very big. Luckily, the security guard was a skilled driver; we'd hand him the keys, and he'd expertly arrange the parking every day, like a game of Tetris, keeping all the cars neatly lined up.

Homestay unit is comfortable, good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler and dispenser for coffee. On July 14, 2026, around 4 PM, we checked into the Four Points by Sheraton Liupanshui. We had booked three rooms about a month in advance, totaling over 6,000 yuan. One of the rooms took nearly an hour at the front desk to be assigned. Upon check-in, we noticed stains all over the floor, and the bedding seemed flimsy. The air conditioning was constantly making noise, intermittent, and the room was uncomfortably stuffy. The bathroom facilities were not only old but also dysfunctional; for example, toiletries like shower gel were mounted on the wall but unusable. In one of the rooms, the bathtub was full of water and couldn't be drained, and the shower area had severe water accumulation, among other issues. We reported the bathroom problems to the front desk on the night of our check-in. Around 10 PM, a maintenance worker finally arrived, only to inform us that these issues had already been reported to hotel management but remained unresolved, making repairs impossible. The only option was to change rooms. The front desk also told us that it was too late to switch rooms that day and we would have to wait until the next morning. They assured us that we would be able to pick up the new room keys from the front desk first thing in the morning. To our disappointment, when we approached the front desk the next morning, they looked bewildered. After some negotiation, they agreed to change rooms but were evasive about giving a specific time. It was only after escalating the issue to the lobby duty manager that our room change problem was finally resolved. To protect our rights as guests, we filed a complaint with the hotel duty manager, stating two main points: first, the overall service did not meet five-star standards, damaging the hotel's reputation; second, due to the severe problems with the room, we requested a refund for the services not rendered and compensation for the time and emotional distress caused. Although the duty manager said they would report it to hotel management, we had multiple exchanges with them and the front desk staff throughout the day, and they consistently dodged our questions, providing no direct answers to date. Through communication with Trip.com, the hotel completely rejected our demands, demonstrating the arrogance of a large business bullying customers. As a Trip.com Gold member, this stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Liupanshui has been the most unpleasant hotel experience I've had in many years of travel. We strongly recommend that Trip.com no longer recommend this hotel in the future.

This 4-star hotel truly impressed me! The lobby is grand and elegant, with a spacious, stylish, and unique design that's quite striking the moment you step in. The room itself is also quite large and fully equipped with high-quality bedding. The bathroom is bright, clean, and tidy, featuring upscale amenities and a bathtub, plus a very comfortable sofa. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including local specialties like beef noodle soup or rice vermicelli. Service was excellent – they even upgraded our room! When we had a minor issue with the toilet, the hotel promptly sent someone to fix it. The hotel's location is superb, not far from major attractions, and taxis are easily accessible. All of this at a reasonable price made for a very satisfying experience.

The service and environment are good, but the supporting facilities are not up to par. There is not much for children to do here, just soak in the hot springs. There are not many open pools. We have a room with a private bath. Basically, there is nothing to do outside the room except in the room.
