Pingnan Hotels with Wifi

"The most troublesome thing about traveling is finding accommodation; finding something cost-effective is really difficult. Pingnan has many guesthouses, but after several trips, I feel that hotels are more suitable for me in all aspects. So, after careful selection, I blindly chose Vienna Hotel. Although I saw some negative reviews, my experience tells me it was the right choice… First of all, the overall environment is quite good. The rooms are equipped with smart smart speakers, which is very convenient. For summer travel, the air conditioning is quite strong. A pleasant surprise was that they even provided hand sanitizer, which many hotels lack. The reception staff were very friendly; seeing that we had children, they proactively offered us a complimentary breakfast – a big thumbs up! For those going to Pingnan, I recommend this hotel. The surrounding area is quite bustling, with everything you could want. My child said there were mostly barbecue stalls 🤪 Of course, there are a few details that could be improved: 1. For example, Vienna Hotel also caters to wedding banquets, leading to insufficient parking. Some hotel guests are already tired, and having to find parking outside is unacceptable. 2. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was no security to guide us to the parking lot. We drove around for ages before realizing there were no parking spaces. Because our car was quite long, it took us a long time to find our way out. When we got to the front desk, we were told there were no parking spaces available… We were told to park outside first, and that spaces would become available later after the wedding banquet… 3. The soundproofing needs improvement? In the morning, the cleaning lady was shouting in the hallway very early. It's inappropriate, as some guests stay up late. 4. Since we had a child with us, we were worried about the child pulling the blankets. Surprisingly, there was a spare blanket in the room, but it was just the inner liner. I suggest putting a duvet cover on it and sealing it in a disposable bag to prevent dust accumulation. 5. Breakfast was supposed to be until 9:30, but in reality, there was almost no food left before 9:00. Many hotel guests are getting up late, and the food wasn't replenished. (Luckily, I stayed at the Vienna Hotel in Fuzhou the second night, and this didn't happen, plus they had a wider variety of dishes.) Also, there wasn't enough seating, so guests were asked to move to the next room, which was where a banquet had been held the previous night. The smell was incredibly strong and nauseating; I could smell it the night before, and it was still there the next morning… I didn't even want to go in. The seating wasn't even properly arranged. While these are minor details, Vienna Hotel, as a chain, shouldn't have these kinds of problems. Management should pay more attention to these aspects. However, aside from these issues, the overall experience was still acceptable. If I have the chance to go to Pingnan again, I would still choose this Vienna Hotel. The accommodation was good, haha, especially the shower water pressure, which my family particularly praised – great water pressure, perfect for showering! I hope these minor issues can be addressed quickly to provide a better experience for future guests! Their comb, in particular, was very convenient for someone like me with permed hair…something I haven’t experienced in other hotels I’ve stayed at…"

"낡았지만 깔끔한 편이고 매일 침구류 정리해주고 청소해주고 물2병씩 주고 좋았어요. 세탁실은 작지만 6층에 있고 무료사용이고 , 각층마다 비상구쪽에 베란다가 있는데 빨래 널 수 있도록 되어 있어서 좋아요. 또한 숙소 앞은 작은 실내야시장이 있고 시내라 걸어서 5분만 나오면 주위 상가가 많아서 편리합니다."

"47 Trees B&B in Longtan Village is the largest and most beautiful B&B in Longtan Village. It is built on the mountain. There is a cafe with a literary and artistic atmosphere. You can sit by the fireplace and taste the hand-brewed coffee of the proprietress Xiaohua, and eat local beef. Make some croissants, read a favorite book, and enjoy modern accommodation while experiencing the local customs. This was the first time we spent New Year's Eve outside in three years. The boss Jie Ge and the beautiful boss lady Xiaohua invited us to have a New Year's Eve dinner with her friends. Afterwards, we also participated in the bonfire music event organized by Longtan Village. It was a wonderful experience. Also, thank you to Brother Jie. When we left the store and planned our next trip, the car suddenly ran out of battery. We contacted the insurance company and the repair shop, but they couldn't make it in time because it was the first day of the new year. Brother Jie found out and drove his car as soon as possible. "The experience of staying in Longtan Ancient Town was too much beyond expectations! The homestay is the first one in Qiaotou. You can find it at a glance with the navigation. You don’t have to worry about finding the way. What’s more intimate is that there is an exclusive parking lot. Not only is parking convenient and worry-free, but also directly saves extra parking fees. We are too friendly for self-driving travel. The room was clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the details were attentive, and the living was particularly comfortable. What impressed us most was the enthusiasm of the couple in the hotel, as kind as the family. Auntie specially took out the sweet potato and persimmon grown at home to share, sweet and juicy, full of natural taste, instantly people feel the warmth of home. The canteen on the first floor is particularly convenient, with everything you need for daily use, and Longtan local specialties, affordable and delicious, you don't have to go elsewhere to buy it. Must focus on the rooftop of the homestay! It is full of various plants, green and vibrant, and it is a scenic line in itself, taking pictures beyond the film. Standing on the rooftop can also overlook the panoramic view of the entire Longtan Ancient Town, the blue tiles are connected, the stream is flowing, whether it is enjoying the scenery during the day, watching the sunset in the evening, or taking a group of beautiful photos with green plants, it is super comfortable. I really recommend it to friends who come to Longtan to play. I wish my uncle and aunt's homestay business is getting more and more prosperous, and I will stay here next time!"

"During my month-long trip through Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi, I still don't know how I managed to find this hidden gem of a village. The guesthouse has a fantastic location, right next to a stream, where the sound of flowing water is incredibly soothing. The soundproofing is also excellent; with the doors and windows closed at night, there's absolutely no noise. For those planning a road trip, this is the place to go without hesitation. Just a two- or three-minute walk away is their own huge parking lot, large enough to accommodate almost every car. We brought two cars—one a campervan and three cars—and the campervan parked easily, so no worries about getting to the parking lot. The owners are incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, telling you about food, activities, nearby villages, and attractions. They even help with luggage, being very hospitable and attentive. The room is fully equipped. It's a bit chilly in December, but the air conditioning is excellent, making for a comfortable night's sleep. Another great feature is the hot water in the shower; unlike some guesthouses where the hot water is insufficient or fluctuates, the water flow is strong and the temperature is consistent. The linens, bedding, and toiletries in the room were all branded – high-quality stuff! After a long day of sightseeing, a relaxing shower, lying in bed playing on my phone, and listening to the sound of the stream was pure bliss, like being in paradise. The guesthouse doesn't provide breakfast, but that's not a big deal since it's located in the heart of the village, with plenty of food stalls nearby in the mornings. Overall, I was extremely satisfied, and I would definitely choose this guesthouse again if I ever visit Ningde or Longtan Village again."

"Visiting during the off-season meant the village was quiet and peaceful, and this guesthouse was incredibly pleasant! We bought five jin (2.5 kg) of local specialty rice wine and enjoyed it with my best friend in the courtyard, sipping and feeling the breeze – it was wonderful. The evening bonfire was also a lot of fun. We invited other guests to join us for a chat, and the landlady was incredibly welcoming. Everyone shared interesting stories, ate dried persimmons, and drank a little wine, completely washing away the fatigue of our journey. This relaxing and heartwarming experience was truly rare; I'll definitely come back again!"
