"A surprisingly good hotel! From its exterior and name, it looks like an old-school five-star hotel, but the rooms have been renovated and are quite new and spacious. When checking out, they prepared portable teacups and tea leaves as a parting gift. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shantou."

"Our stay here was fantastic overall. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and polite, patiently answering all our questions. The surrounding area has excellent amenities and is very convenient for getting around. The bed was soft and comfortable, the environment was quiet, and it offered great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. Although it's near an elevated highway, the soundproofing is excellent, so unless you're extremely sensitive, you won't really notice any noise.
The hotel is also very close to several intangible cultural heritage food spots, such as Sunan Qinji's braised goose main branch, Chaoludao Braised Hotpot, and even Dongshi Kaixing Congee – super convenient! The hotel's robot delivery for takeout was also very quick. Highly recommended!"

"The past few days in Chaozhou have been scorching, with temperatures at 36°C and a 'feels like' temperature of 43°C – absolutely sweltering! The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra power card, so every time I returned drenched in sweat from exploring, the best part was being greeted by a blast of cold air and a chilled bottled water from the mini-fridge – pure bliss! The reception area also had a fridge stocked with plenty of complimentary bottled water, which was a very nice touch. Inside the room, there were some local Chaoshan snacks, which were quite tasty. When I inquired where to buy them, the hotel even had an auntie bring us more to sample – I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about 100 meters from Kaiyuan Temple, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions like the Ancient City, Guangji Bridge, and Xima Road. I even walked to Guangji Bridge three times in one day and didn't feel tired. There are also plenty of food options and souvenir shops nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pillows were very comfortable. The lovely ladies at reception and the cleaning aunties were all very warm and provided excellent service. Because the heat was so unbearable, I decided last minute to have lunch at the snack shop right next door. I ordered Chaozhou braised platter rice and pig offal kway teow, and to my surprise, they were incredibly delicious – tasting just like traditional home-cooked Chaozhou food. The pig offal kway teow had a light flavor, and for only 15 yuan, it was packed with ingredients; adding black vinegar elevated the taste even further. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!"

"The transportation is super convenient; you can just hop on bus 105 right outside the hotel to Nan'ao Island. They thoughtfully upgraded me to a room with a window. However, when extending my stay or requesting a late check-out, I had to go back to the front desk to reactivate my room card, otherwise, I'd get locked out twice, which was quite inconvenient! The bottled water in the room was Jing Tian, and the room card was already inserted when I arrived, which was great – I could cool down instantly upon entering the room in this hot weather! The curtains were electric and button-operated, and food deliveries were brought to the room by a robot!"

"This hotel truly amazed me. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotels, but this was the best one I stayed at during my trip to Guangdong. It's a newly opened hotel, located in a residential area with plenty of local eateries, coffee shops, and bakeries nearby, and very close to Mixc World. The decor is beautiful, and despite being new, there were no strong or unpleasant smells, thanks to their fresh air system. The environment is quiet with no noise, and the rooms are spacious and come with a fridge, which is very convenient. While the entrance isn't grand (perhaps not fully set up yet), inside it's truly a hidden gem. The owner is a handsome young man, and both he and the front desk staff provided excellent service. They gave us welcome gifts, which were very practical. We booked two rooms, and the owner upgraded us for free, helped us with our luggage, and even recommended local food streets and specialties. Anything we needed was delivered very promptly. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. There's free parking available, which is very convenient. My absolute favorite was their wireless makeup mirror – I immediately ordered the same one to be sent to my home! This is a genuine and honest review, hope it helps everyone!"

The room was spacious and very clean. Even though it's next to an elevated highway, it was surprisingly quiet at night. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance nearby. You can grab a shared e-bike to get to the food street. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Guest UserThe staff helped me do my laundry, saving me three hours in one day! This is what I loved most, a big thank you to the front desk. I also really liked their breakfast – coffee, bread, main courses, meat dishes, they had it all, plus congee and noodles, and various small side dishes. The location is excellent, right next to the Zhuhai Comprehensive Market. My room faced the market, but there were no smells or noise. You can also book a room on the other side, further away from the market. Personally, I think the location is superb; within a 300-meter radius, there are five bakeries, and it’s a 300-meter walk to Zhujiang Road, with plenty of food and drink options along the way. The service staff were enthusiastic and polite, and they definitely changed the duvet cover. I'm very particular about that, and they actually brought a cart to change the bedding when cleaning the room.

The hygiene conditions are excellent, and the room details are well thought out, including a mini-fridge and tea-making facilities. The bathroom is a highlight with its high-tech toilet and excellent toiletries, and the water pressure for showering is fantastic and very comfortable! The front desk staff are enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions, and genuinely think of the guests' needs! There's free coffee and tea on the first floor of the hotel, which are quite good! The rice noodle roll place next to the hotel is also good, and it's not far from Zhujiang Food Street, which is very convenient!

This guesthouse I booked for my trip to Shantou was an absolute gem! It really added such a wonderful, happy vibe to my whole trip. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it – the decor has a lovely retro Republic of China style, with solid wood furniture and really comfy bedding. The room was super clean, and the location is just unbeatable. Being able to step out and find food, drinks, and entertainment right downstairs was so convenient. We could just pop back to the room for a rest whenever we got tired. The owner also recommended some fantastic local spots: a beef hotpot place, late-night congee, and Zhenping Guozhi (rice noodle soup) – all incredibly delicious! I've already recommended this guesthouse to my friends; it's truly worth choosing!

Guest UserThe room's location is decent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a hotel-apartment with two large beds, which is great for families with two kids. However, it has its drawbacks. The soundproofing is poor; you can clearly hear conversations from surrounding areas. The biggest issue is the extremely small bathroom, making it very inconvenient to use the toilet – you pretty much have to leave the door open. The shower, on the other hand, is fine with good water pressure. For the price, it's acceptable; you can't expect too much.

Guest UserThis hotel was a true gem we discovered on our trip, hands down the best of the entire journey! The staff scheduling is very thoughtful; the morning shift has three lovely ladies who are gentle and patient, while the evening shift is handled by dedicated staff. Breakfast deserves a special mention – the 'kuey teow' (flat rice noodles) was amazing. The food selection is comprehensive, clean, and hygienic. The bedding in the rooms is neat and comfortable, and the parking lot is spacious with plenty of spots, so no stress about parking. The lobby has a pleasant aroma, and the air conditioning temperature is just right. Even the public walkway to the affiliated BBQ restaurant is meticulously clean, with no grease or stains, showing excellent attention to hygiene details. My stay here was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends in Guangzhou!

My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room.
It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness.
Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside.
Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible.
Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need.
Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!!
All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

This time, I brought my child along, so I decided to stay in the county town. First, let's talk about the location. The B&B's location is excellent, with free parking available. Although it's a short walk, it's manageable. Right downstairs, you'll find various restaurants and bubble tea shops. It's practically the Houzhai CBD, very convenient. The only minor drawback is that the hot water is very slow; it takes a long time to come on. After communicating with the owner, they explained that the pipes are long, and you need to let the cold water run out before the hot water arrives.
Now, let's focus on the B&B's hygiene and service.
The B&B is located in an older building, but the rooms are all new, and the hygiene is exceptionally well-maintained. It's clean and odor-free, which already surpasses many B&Bs. Furthermore, the attention to detail is excellent. Right outside your room on the same floor, the owner provides various daily necessities (dental floss, rubber bands, hair clips, razors, makeup remover wipes, etc.). So thoughtful!
Regarding service, the owner led us to the parking lot on an electric scooter. We hadn't checked in yet, and the owner helped us transport our luggage to the B&B. When we checked in, our luggage was already in the room. My child had hives and scratched their skin until it bled a bit, getting some blood on the sheets. I proactively asked the owner if I needed to pay a cleaning fee, but the owner didn't charge anything. What a generous gesture!
The off-season price is also very affordable. Overall, for a 207 RMB B&B, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. The 10 points deducted are in hopes that the owner can improve the hot water facilities. We'll definitely come again if we have the chance!

Kaiyad hotel is located in the main road and its very easy to reach there and also have so much facilities around there specially for foreigners many western restaurants and also if you are coming to business work this hotel is much convenient
The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly but they don’t have more varieties for breakfast
