"The hotel's service started right after booking, with a call to confirm our arrival time, which was very thoughtful. Upon arrival, we drove directly to the entrance. The security guard was incredibly welcoming, not only guiding us to a parking spot but also helping with our luggage. Since it was drizzling, the front desk attendant even came out with an umbrella to greet us and helped carry our bags all the way to our room – truly making us feel at home. Facilities: The bathroom, shower, and vanity are all separate (wet and dry separation), which is excellent. What truly stands out is the air conditioning installed in the wash area – a huge plus! Our room had a small balcony overlooking the courtyard, which was quiet and pleasant. The hotel lobby and restaurant are combined, which is quite convenient. Hygienic: Clean and tidy. The bedding and linens were very clean. The toilet was equipped with alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers, which was a nice touch. Environment: Located by the river, and just 500 meters from Huizhou Ancient City, yet it's very quiet. We slept soundly and comfortably at night. The small courtyard is also charming and distinctive. The hotel décor has a cultural flair, with thoughtful details everywhere. Service: The service from the front desk staff and the security guard at the entrance goes without saying – truly made us feel at home. Because of the hot weather, they had already turned on the air conditioning before our arrival, which was genuinely wonderful, so considerate and thoughtful. A big thumbs up!"

"The hotel exceeded my expectations and definitely deserves a five-star rating. Facilities: There is an open-air courtyard on the fourth floor of the hotel! It's really beautiful! You can directly see the ancient city of Huizhou from the courtyard. There are tables, chairs and rocking chairs for outdoor rest. The landscaping is really beautiful! Hygiene: The room is in good sanitation, without stains, dust or the like. The sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases are relatively clean, and the bathroom is also quite clean. Environment: The room is large, and the design and placement of some small ornaments are very unique. The room decoration is antique and the sound insulation is also very good. Service: The service is good. It was already early in the morning when we checked in, and the check-in was very fast. The hotel does not seem to have a dedicated parking lot. It should be a public parking lot, but we did not have parking problems during the May Day holiday. Overall, I still recommend this hotel!"

"This time I stayed at the eLong Hotel in Shexian. It's located right across from the ancient Huizhou city river, which is a great location. It's about a 15-minute walk to the ancient city. The environment is quiet, and the hotel is clean and tidy. The staff are enthusiastic and provide excellent service; they even offer shuttle service to the ancient city. There's also a free and spacious car park, making parking very convenient. The rooms are clean, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."

The staff member, Xiao Su, was also incredibly attentive and helpful, making for a truly exceptional experience!"

"The hotel is very close to the ancient city, and getting around by electric scooter is super convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby too. The only downside is that the parking space is really small, but it wasn't an issue for me since I arrived early and left late. Breakfast was just okay (but the 'Two Trees Wonton' place nearby has delicious wontons! - photo of wontons attached)."

"Go as you please, round trip by high-speed rail. This time, I booked Jiang Xiangtai B&B in advance. There are three reasons for making such a choice. First, Huangshan is a world-renowned tea town, and a B&B with tea culture as the theme is undoubtedly an excellent choice. Second, the ancient city of Huizhou is known as the four best-preserved ancient cities in China together with Lijiang in Yunnan, Pingyao in Shanxi, and Langzhong in Sichuan. The B&B in the ancient city is naturally a superior choice. Third, according to the introduction, the B&B was renovated from an ancient house. It not only retains the original style of Huizhou ancient buildings, but also displays many cultural relics, which can allow adults and children to grow their knowledge together. The room types of the guild hall are diverse. Unfortunately, when booking, only the Japanese and British style rooms were left, so we chose the Earl Rose room type, where the family stayed. The two beds were spacious and comfortable. Next time I have the opportunity, I must come to experience the Chinese or nautical-themed parent-child room type. After returning from visiting the ancient city in the evening, I drank tea and chatted in the courtyard while playing games. The temperature was suitable and it was very comfortable. The next morning, we had local specialty noodles with toppings for breakfast at the B&B, and the taste was unforgettable."

"When visiting Huizhou Ancient City in Shexian, choosing the Campanile Hotel is definitely the right call!✨ Upon arrival, the security guard was very enthusiastic and proactively helped with parking. The front desk staff were welcoming and even offered us breakfast at half price. The mattress in the room was moderately firm, providing excellent support, and we slept very comfortably. The lobby had ice-cold orange soda, popcorn, and foosball, creating a great atmosphere. You absolutely must try the complimentary late-night snack! The mini wontons had thin wrappers and generous fillings, and the lard-based soup was fragrant and authentic. Eating a bowl after a day of sightseeing was incredibly satisfying. The only minor drawback was the average soundproofing of the room doors. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Huizhou Ancient City."
