"This was our favourite hotel in all of Sichuan, and for the price we paid, we feel like we got the best value. The views and spaciousness are what wins this hotel this rating for us. The window in the shower was such a luxurious experience. We extended our stay by 2 nights because of this wonderful experience! Other pros: Great staff, a nice breakfast buffet and space for dining, and within walking distance to Qionghai park."

"So cozy! Right by Qionghai Lake, at the foot of Lushan Mountain. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xichang. You can cook your own meals for just 10 yuan per use, and the microwave and washing machine are free to use. There's also a pool table and a drying platform."

"The family came to Xichang for a New Year's Eve trip and stayed in the family room of the Miramar Hotel. The overall satisfaction was very satisfactory. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, enough to sleep two big and one small, clean and tidy. "Come to Xichang for a trip, choose this Yunshang Manju Hotel located in Laohaiting really choose the right one! A few minutes walk to the Bohai Wetland Park. The first floor of the hotel is equipped with a washing machine. It is very friendly to customers who need to wash clothes. The climate in Xichang is dry and cool. It is very suitable for traveling here this season. Near the Torch Festival, it is also very lively and fun. The front desk staff was warm and polite, the check-in speed was very fast, and they also took the initiative to tell us the route. The room was cleaned, the bedding, bathroom, network and other facilities were complete, and the living was quiet and comfortable. Downstairs is full of special barbecue shops, full of fireworks. During the day, I went to Bohai Sea to see the lake view, and went out to eat food at night, not tossing back. The overall experience is very good and cost-effective."

"My grandson declared before his school even broke up that he wanted to go on a trip with his grandparents during the summer holiday. To fulfill his request, we thought long and hard and decided on a relaxing few days in Xichang, which boasts the lakeside Qionghai and Lushan Mountain, a pleasant climate that's warm in winter and cool in summer, and even a Space City experience that kids love… I compared two hotels on Trip.com that were closest to Qionghai Lake (Qionghai Hotel and Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel), both old five-star establishments. After careful consideration, I booked a main building lake-view twin room at Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel for four nights and five days (July 3rd to 7th). After school finished, my grandson, my wife, and I traveled from Chengdu East to Xichang West by high-speed train, a 3.5-hour journey. We picked up the rental car my son booked on Trip.com and drove to Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel by Qionghai Lake, beginning our 5-day trip to Xichang… We stayed at the Park Hyatt for 5 days and 4 nights and also visited Qionghai Hotel. Firstly, I much preferred the ambiance of the Park Hyatt Hotel. Although Qionghai Hotel has a larger area and lovely greenery, and even peacocks roaming the grounds, its location closer to the city center makes it a bit more bustling compared to the tranquil atmosphere of the Park Hyatt. The water quality of Qionghai Lake in general is also inferior to the section by the Park Hyatt. The coastline here is more pristine and natural, with lush trees swaying in the breeze. Strolling through the woods and along the sandy beach, playing in the shallow water, taking a nap, jogging or cycling on the path, and swimming in the pool – it’s all much more enjoyable! Secondly, while Qionghai Hotel's architecture is indeed stylish and grand, I personally prefer the Southeast Asian style of the Park Hyatt Hotel, which is tucked away in the woods by Qionghai Bay, intermittently revealing a seaside vibe around the lake… No more rambling, let's get to the practical points: First, although the hotel has been open for over a decade, the architecture and facilities are well-maintained. The room facilities don't look old at all, and the Southeast Asian-style ceiling fan is convenient and comfortable to use. Second, the service attitude and cleanliness are thorough and responsible. Third, the breakfast is rich, healthy, and hygienic. Fourth, the pool water is clean. Overall, staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel with my grandson for 5 days and 4 nights was a good experience, and I discussed the few minor issues with the front desk."
