A fantastic experience! The room was clean and hygienic, showing the owner's dedication. The materials used in the renovation were high-quality, and although the hotel is new, there was absolutely no unpleasant smell. The children were very comfortable; the room was spacious, the bed was large, and the room was comfortable. Disposable towels were provided. Breakfast was made by the owner herself, with corn grown on-site and steamed buns made in-house – clean and hygienic. We'll definitely stay here again next time… We drove all the way from Shanghai for our trip, and our friends were very satisfied! 👍 The owner is very kind and welcoming… Thank you so much! I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! 这是间很舒服时尚的民宿。房间窗外就看见那连绵起伏的山脉。前台的两位年轻小戴, 都很亲切友善,乐於幫我们解决一些问题及安排行程. 他们为我们安排租借电驴, 也親切的为我们介绍当地的景点和美食。还帮我们解决了去黄果树的问题。沒戴眼镜的小戴还教了我扎染。早餐也很丰盛好吃，每天早上，小吳厨师都会親切的问我要吃些什么。 房间很舒服，卫生做得很好，裝饰都很美丽，尤其是那些扎染的裝饰品窗帘等。每个人的服务态度都非常的好。非常推荐。 Highly recommended this guesthouse. The room has magnificent view of Wangfenglin range of mountain, it is tastefully design, clean and comfortable room. The front desk (both 小戴) are very helpful, helping us arranging our trip, transportation etc. it is also very convenient to visit other attraction area and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is also very delicious, every morning the chef 小吳 will greet me and asked me what would i like and bring me the breakfast, you can have your breakfast at the beautiful dining area at the back or the veranda in the garden .

I stayed here once for a business trip, and at that time, the room had cleanliness issues and mosquitoes. The hotel proactively contacted me to apologize and promised to improve room hygiene and mosquito control procedures. This time, my girlfriend visited Wanfenglin, and I booked a king room for her again. I didn't go myself, but my girlfriend was very satisfied. She reported that the room's cleanliness was excellent, and there were no mosquito problems. The staff were as warm and attentive as ever. Although this courtyard view room is on the first floor, the view is superb. However, if privacy is a major concern, I wouldn't recommend it, as there's no private balcony. It's clear that the hotel genuinely listens to guest feedback and has made real improvements to the details. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Wanfenglin.

The view is beautiful, the floor-to-ceiling windows are unobstructed, the transportation is convenient, and it is on the main road. There is a bathtub 🛁 to take a bath to relieve the fatigue of the journey. Breakfast is mutton noodles are particularly delicious and the boss is very good. The couple are smiling throughout the service, responsive, and real people.

An absolutely wonderful stay! This guesthouse is incredibly well-designed; even the smallest details are eye-catching. Both the rooms and common areas were spotless, and all the in-room amenities were from high-end brands. I initially booked this place because of their dog and cat, knowing my child loves playing with dogs. It turned out to be a great decision – my child spent a large part of our stay playing with 'Fatty' (the guesthouse's dog) and a little white dog from next door. The guesthouse also has a swimming pool, which kept the little one entertained. The garden by the pool is truly amazing – quiet, scenic, and shaded by large trees. Lying there was incredibly cool and the breeze was so relaxing. My father-in-law just intended to wander by the pool, but he got so comfortable on a chair that he couldn't get up and ended up falling asleep! 😂 As for the hostess, from the moment we arrived, we could feel her thoughtfulness and kindness. For example, seeing that we had a child, she preemptively pushed the twin beds together for us. The complimentary fruit in the room was abundant and of excellent quality, unlike the often perfunctory welcome fruit at some hotels. Because we had an early departure, she also arranged for staff to prepare breakfast for us ahead of time the next morning. The recommendations she gave for dining and a spot to catch fish were also fantastic. Before leaving, I told the hostess that we hadn't had enough fun and hoped to stay again if we have the chance. Xingyi is truly a lovely place, and the people we met were all wonderful.

The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

I booked very early to stay 9 nights to rest from the 5/1 busy holiday crowd for my one month travel in this region of China. The first week of my stay turned out to be a wonderful encounter of sorts. Two different ladies I met during my Feb trip to Shaxi, Yunnan decided to join me in Xingyi during their 5/1 holiday. I explained my new stay situation to the lady owner and very readily she arranged for us to stay in the 3 bedroom during their visit and move me back to my original booking after they left. Her flexibility and adaptability is impressive. We hit it off immediately and my 2 friends from different parts of China also experienced her kindness and super hospitality. All of us also received a thoughtful parting gift from her. Because the homestay was firstly built as a home, all amenities you can think of for a comfortable home is in each room. There is a good brand water purifier that emits drinking water at useful set temperatures for boiling, coffee, baby or room. There is a fridge within the room and any extra cookwares can be provided as needed. The room is also a Smarthome, I was delighted that xiaoai tongxue could understand my weird Chinese pronunciation. The bed and furnishings are top notched. I slept very well and deeply every night. I also used the Haier washing machine, make sure not to pour too much washing detergent as it is a high efficent machine. I am very grateful to be invited for meals whenever I'm at my room. It was very heart warming to witness the big heartedness of the lady owner. She gave me the feeling of coming home to a family that I never knew I have. I felt rested and so much at ease staying at this beautiful home that I was dragging my feet when it is time to leave. I think for my future travels, I will consider visiting for at least a week's rest, since its location is so accessible via either airport or highspeed train station. There is also a medical wellness shop next door. Best way to fully experience the life at this homestay is to show up for a free foot soak to understand the traditional chinese medicine concept of wellness and talk to their customers to learn of their recovery experiences. In summary, I highly recommend this homestay when you want to rest in a well designed city like Xingyi and to experience the friendliness of Guizhou people. The weather in Xingyi is also very conducive for good living. A good life should be lived and experienced like this; everyday making a point to eat well together, having good conversations and laughs, with love. Here, the connections are real.

Traveling from Heilongjiang to Kunming, we made a stop at Fenglin Buyi Scenic Area and decided to stay overnight in the village. Since I was traveling with a 3-year-old, staying in the village allowed us more time to explore, which was very convenient. After careful consideration, I chose this hotel, and it turned out to be the right decision! First, upon seeing my little one, the front desk manager immediately upgraded us to a king-sized bed room and arranged for a dedicated shuttle cart. We also received complimentary fruits and snacks. Despite being in a village, the amenities were surprisingly high-end. This was by far the best treatment we've received at a B&B throughout our trip. The room was also very clean. We were given breakfast coupons for a wonderful buffet, and even offered traditional Miao clothing to try on. All in all, it was a trip that truly exceeded expectations. The money spent on this accommodation was well worth it! The scenery in the area is incredibly beautiful, and the air in the morning was exceptionally fresh. Thank you to the owner, and I wish you a prosperous business! This is my first time writing such a detailed review, I swear, haha. The experience was fantastic!

I had the most wonderful stay at the hotel run by Rose, who among others is an English teacher! From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!
