"Good stay, a bit small space in the room. the hotel is perfectly located, everything is within walking distance, clean, nice staff. It doesn't have a parking lot, as it says. This surprised us, but the receptionist recommended parking nearby 24h/5EUR. But it was almost full, we had the last place. Booking in advance is not possible. The curtains on the window are translucent, the light penetrates into the room. There is no noise from the nearby station, the windows seal well. The room is beautifully warm. There is no cafe in the room."

"The journey was not so easy due to a construction site. The help we received on the phone was not very friendly in helping us find the hotel. When we checked in, we asked if there was room service or a hotel bar (it was after 9pm). The answer was very unfriendly and not really helpful. We were basically just laughed at for even assuming that there was such a thing.
The room was nice and clean but also very small. Overall, the price-performance ratio is completely OK and the location is good too. The hotel can't do anything about the construction site and the lady at the reception desk may just have been having a bad day..."

"Oldstadt Hotel Lübeck is located in the centre. All shops and attractions are accessible by foot. The city's bus network is super and high frequency.
The hotel has old building material. The interior architecture is modern, the rooms are cozy. The bed was comfortable and the wet cell was up to date.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. In the evening, I could use the night entrance with my own key. After check-out the bags were stored until afternoon. Thanks!"

"To entire hotel friendly staff. Everything was clean and tidy, so a positive impression as soon as you entered. Despite the room facing the street, no noise penetrated. Good beds, but these are apart. Nice big shower, everything neat and clean.
The staff at the bar were in a good mood even late at night. The breakfast was good, coffee can be selected from two machines. Tasty, small rolls and sufficient toppings are available. Only with the scrambled eggs there is room for improvement.
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, especially since the city center is within easy walking distance."

HHaopiqilanmaoWas kept up all night by the noise so dizzy the next day that I had to take painkillers. It seriously affected the itinerary for the next day, a very failed stay!
The hotel's central air conditioner (or ventilation system) has a particularly loud noise. Even if the AC in the room is turned off, it is still noisy all night as if you are in the cabin. Especially those rooms facing the long corridor. On the contrary, it will be quieter if it is towards the lobby direction inside, but there is no view at all.
As a five-star hotel, it is necessary to provide a comfortable sleep! This aspect is really bad. The noise was so unbearable that we changed rooms at three o'clock in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the waiter on the night shift has a good attitude, so I opened a few other rooms, let's choose. And she also said that she knows that some rooms have such problems. It appears this is the noise that has been complained about multiple times. That's why I know this row of rooms is so noisy.
So it is more confirmed that this is a problem with the AC system in the building. If you don’t want the white noise and howling like in the cabin all night, you must avoid pits.
Moreover, the bed in the hotel is very uncomfortable. It is the narrowest 0.8-meter small bed without a cushion. The big bed room is to put two small beds together. The twin beds are separated by a narrow gap. Although many in Europe are like this, it cannot be called a 5-star standard at all. The people at the front desk, from the beginning to the end, were arrogant and didn't show any apologies.
In this regard, the Marriott in Bremen is strongly recommended, and the bedding is extremely comfortable.
But one thing to say, the hotel's location, view and breakfast are really great. Walk to all sights in town. Parking at the gate is free at night (18:00-10:00 the next day), and 6 Euros all day during the day.
The staff of Ctrip: they are very responsible to customers, and they battle with the hotel. The service attitude is very good.

Excellent we also liked breakfast. You are really beautifully sitting on the eighth floor, there is a large choice and everything is very appetiteful and beautifully arranged. Also the breakfast services work great.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city centre. Therefore, the hotel is actually optimal, even for a city visit.
The check-in was smooth. The service in the entire hotel was really great!

Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. The bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom, the TV ran without any problems with great programs. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired for me - bread, rolls and other pastries, coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, juices, various types of sausage and cheese, jams, honey, etc., cereals, muesli, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, Hot dog...
The dog wasn't allowed in the direct breakfast room because it was an open buffet, but there was an adjoining room where he was allowed or, when the weather was nice, on the terrace, which is directly adjacent to the breakfast room.
There are free parking spaces directly at the hotel.
I will definitely come back when I'm in Lübeck again.

GGuest UserGood value for money when travelling with children. The service was friendly and helpful, the room was a bit dated but clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. Conveniently located close to the A1 Autobahn with parking available close to the room and still in walking distance of the old city.
