"I'm originally from Kendal, but now live overseas. I stayed here to visit family locally and thought I'd treat myself to a nice hotel after not being back for several years. This place was NOT a treat.
On checking in, the reception staff member asked me to pay for my stay (obviously I'd already prepaid on trip.com). When I pointed this out, she became quite rude.
We were put in the room right next to the office, and we could hear the staff chatting at all hours. The noise in the corridor from other guests woke us up several times during the night (despite the ”Quiet” signage). There was a fire alarm at 6am the next morning. Everyone had to evacuate for a good 45 mins in the rain while we waited for the fire brigade...not even an offer of a free breakfast or coffee or anything afterwards.
There's no air con in the rooms, they're really small, the bathroom is tiny and there's not a lot of room to put your stuff. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and the food was under/overcooked (how can you not know how to cook a potato?). Personally I'd not recommend this hotel when there's a Premier Inn in town..."

Please do not rely on directions via satellite navigation using the post code call hotel directly for assistance. We are in touch with the providers and hope to resolve the problem soon. If heading North on the M6 please exit at Junction 37 and take the south bound carriageway. The exit for the hotel and the services is only a few minutes from the junction.
"It's a service station Hotel which has got the standard McDonald's Costa ect however not near much else for the money you pay only worth it for the lake which is stunning.
The hotel receptionist was lovely and friendly the room was a little disappointing, bath very shallow and wall tiles painted white with what looks like either the wrong kind of paint or cheap tile paint as all peeling off so if it had been 20 pounds cheaper I would have felt like I got what I paid for overall not bad and bed was very comfortable."

This hotel is very friendly to self-driving people, but it is a bit far to take a taxi. When placing an order, please pay attention to the number of people you choose. The price is different for different numbers of people. Children need to pay an extra bed fee of 25 pounds on the spot. The waiter's attitude is okay, but he is very sensitive to the extra people in the room. If you want more beds and quilts, you need to come to the room to see how many people are staying and whether it is the same as the registration. The hotel is on the mountain. At first, I thought the check-in place was on the first floor, but after checking in, I found out that it was on the third floor. Our room was on the first floor and there was no elevator. After carrying the luggage downstairs, I found that my car was parked next to the first floor. I would not have taken the luggage to check in. The hotel has a small pond, which feels like a small resort. The children had a lot of fun playing with the ducks in the pond. At night, you can see the stars in the sky by the pond, which is suitable for vacation. The hotel facilities are a bit old, and the swimming pool is relatively small. It is only suitable for kindergarten children to play in the water. Because I like the pond and lawn more, I didn't stay in the room much during my stay in the hotel. I was outdoors, so there are only outdoor photos

宁Because it’s just the weekend in the Lake District, the lakeside hotels are basically fully booked or the price is very high. All are just a little farther away from the lakeside, but this B&B is worth recommending, it must be some distance away from Windermere, but if it is a self-driving car, It’s only a 10-minute drive away. Below the hotel is an English-style bar, and the upper floor is a hotel room, but the rooms are very quiet and unaffected. The rooms are designed in a British style, clean and well-equipped. The only downside is the flowers. The sprinkling water pressure is slightly lower
