The Japanese-style resort hotel boasts a lakeside ceiling and spacious rooms with private onsen (hot spring bath) and balconies. The rooftop open-air hot spring with views of Lake Akan is absolutely stunning. The dining is exquisite and delicious, using high-quality ingredients, reflecting the chef's dedication. Each room has its own private dining area with personalized service, making it very comfortable. The daily management is excellent; the environment is quiet, and the staff are attentive to individual needs and make special arrangements. In short, it's an excellent choice for a vacation. I was fortunate enough to stay at Tsuruga, near Lake Onuma, which is also a very beautiful hotel.

Anonymous UserWe were a little apprehensive before our arrival as the hotel was built in 2015. However, the hotel exceed our expectation.
The staff at the porch was patient, he helped us with us luggage and pointed to the free parking.
The receptionist explained the services and facilities available clearly and checked if we made plans for dinner as our room did not come with meals. She later helped us microwave our food purchased from Lawson.
The hotel has 3 private bath that doesn’t require reservation. Both the male and female onsen has great view of the river.
The facilities were clean and well maintained. Very calming views from the room, could sit there and enjoy tea. Recommended to spend an afternoon at the hotel to relax and rest. They provide ramen at 10.30pm too.

SummerThe bus stops right in front of the hotel when returning to Kushiro from Lake Akan. It is very convenient. There are izakaya ramen shops and convenience stores nearby. The breakfast is rich and the service is also very good. It is not far from the JR station.

Thank you to the hotel staff who helped during the 8th December earthquake. It was our families first experience of an earthquake and tsunami warning, so we were very worried. We came down from level 16 to the level 3 evacuation zone once the tsunami warning was triggered, and we met your staff there who were setting up the evacuation area.
A big thank you to the male staff member who put our minds at ease and used google translate to guide us and let us know it was safe to return to the room
1)地理位置优越,出门左边有便利店;离币舞桥走走也就到了,可惜当天天气不好,没有看到世界有名的落日;

ZandoudouMy stay this time was far from smooth. I booked a 17 sqm room, but upon arrival, the hotel said it wasn't available and offered a 13-15 sqm room instead, with no refund for the downgrade – absolutely unheard of! I've only ever known hotels to offer free upgrades when the booked room isn't available, never a downgrade without a refund. I arrived at 12 PM and, after being told my booked room was unavailable, I contacted Trip.com. I was met by 'Xiao Hong,' the most unhelpful customer service agent I've ever encountered. Despite calling multiple times over 5 hours, there was no feedback, and she repeatedly delayed responding, costing me dozens of yuan in call fees. Frustrated, I requested a new agent, and the issue was resolved by a supervisor in less than 15 minutes, finally demonstrating the level of service I expect from Trip.com. As a 16-year Trip.com Diamond member, I choose to book through them over other OTA platforms like ** (removed specific OTA name), even paying a bit more, precisely because of their customer service's ability to handle emergencies. This experience was truly disappointing, though I'm glad the customer service supervisor maintained the usual standard.

Kushiro isn't a big city, so there's not much to explore. For a one-night stay, this hotel was truly faultless! The room was a standard Japanese-style room, with just enough space to open one suitcase. Downstairs, there's a self-service coffee and tea station, and on each floor, you can choose your own pillow. The breakfast was excellent, and I especially loved the miso soup – it was packed with ingredients and delicious, plus they had Hokkaido milk! Parking is conveniently located right across from the hotel. There seemed to be many restaurants, but in winter, some were closed, and it was really cold, so we didn't venture too far. In summary: the staff were incredibly friendly, and for a one-night stay, it was absolutely perfect.

The room is comfortable and the service is good. Although the hot spring pool is divided into male and female time periods, the hotel provides free drinks and alcoholic beverages that are very good, and the breakfast items are very rich, and the experience is very good!

Anonymous UserWe had a lovely stay at Hotel Gozensui in Lake Akan. The location is fantastic — the frozen lake and all the winter activities are just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and even though English wasn’t widely spoken, they really tried their best to assist with anything we needed. Our room faced the lake and the view was beautiful, especially at night when we could watch the fireworks right from the room. A very memorable stay in Lake Akan.

Guest UserIt has good access from the station. It's on the opposite side of the railway tracks from the downtown area along the Kushiro River. If walking, you can reach Kushiro Station via a pedestrian bridge or underground passage. There is ample parking. There is a large public bath on the first floor (about 8 people in the washing area). Bicycle rentals are available for nearby places (there are no convenience stores nearby). The basic necessities are provided.

Guest UserI used it this time for a motorcycle tour.
You have to reserve motorcycle parking, which costs 300 yen per day, but it's underground so you don't have to worry about rain.
There was no air conditioning, but having the windows open was enough.
I'd like to use it again for another tour.
