"Checked in on a typhoon day, the streets were completely deserted 🌪️, and all the restaurants were closed. But the hotel became our strongest support! I was worried we'd be stuck eating instant noodles in the storm, but the hotel really went into 'fan-favorite mode' 💗: ✅ Heartwarming rescue 🆘: They gave out free, steaming hot curry rice 🍛 in the lobby. For stranded travelers, that warm meal was a lifesaver! ✅ Unlimited refills: The Club Lounge was incredibly well-stocked! Not only did they have various juices 🧃 and alcoholic beverages 🍾, but also Okinawan must-tries like peanut tofu (Jiimami Tofu) and Blue Seal ice cream 🍦. I really want to emphasize: the desserts and hot food here truly comforted me ❤️"

"The hotel is just one stop away from Naha Airport (TK2) and a 7-8 minute walk. Be warned, there's a big hill, so it can be a bit challenging with luggage, but fine if it's not raining. The closest Yui Rail station is Kenchō-mae, about an 11-minute walk. The 3rd floor is the smoking floor, with all other floors being non-smoking. If you book late, you might only get a smoking room. I stayed in rooms 1113 and 435 – 11th floor definitely offers better views and is quieter, so I recommend booking there. I didn't think the breakfast was worth it; the buffet lunch, which starts at 11:30 AM, is better value and tastier. There's no welcome drink in the lobby, nor a public bath or hot spring. They do offer free luggage storage. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out is at 11 AM, which is a better schedule than traditional Japanese hotels – highly recommend! "The Grand Hotel offers decent value for money, though it's a bit on the expensive side. The room rates are pretty good, all things considered. It's located near the beach, but honestly, the surrounding sandy areas aren't all that great."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! This was my first time visiting, and I didn't get lost trying to find the hotel at all 😭 You don't even have to go downstairs from the subway station; you can just enter the hotel directly from the second floor, saving you from any detours. I had originally booked another hotel for my departure day, but because this hotel is so convenient for taking the subway to the airport, I decisively canceled the other booking and extended my stay here! It's just a few minutes' walk to the shopping street, where you can browse various souvenir shops, drugstores, and even Don Quijote. I also managed to check out Ichiran Ramen while I was there! The toiletries were incredibly thoughtful – they had everything from facial cleanser to exfoliating towels, and I was pleasantly surprised to even find hair essential oil. Overall, it was a great value and highly recommended."

"Location no doubt for sure, nice exterior and interior also. Good service and they do have the main replenishments in the lobby and let you use for free. Including coffee tea toothbrush tooth paste q tip hair band cleansing oil cleansing milk hair milk hairbrush body rub and washing machine dryer ice machine vending machine scales smoking room and toilet. Be their member can early check in and late check out plus a welcome beer! For the room, all in one very convenient, surprisingly with the all kinds charging adaptor and compact wall dryer for clothes. It’s a very sweet and detailed hotel and I will definitely stay again for the next time."

"Location wise is good, very near to the train station which directly come from the airport. There's a grocery store and family mart right opposite the hotel & 7-11 next to the hotel. Hotel will give coupons to redeem 2 glasses of Orion draf upon check in."

"The hotel felt new and the room size was acceptable compared to business hotels in mainland Japan, although it may feel squeezy if you are carrying many baggage. It has a good location as it’s located between Chatan and Uruma, and it’s not too far from Nago as well. It has a gym, rooftop pool and jacuzzi but unfortunately it’s not opened for guests at the moment which is a disappointment. Breakfast spread was good though!"

"Stayed for a short 2 nights as I've a morning home flight. Room is CLEAN! Majority of hotels around Japan comes with a decent tub for you to soak in... I'm happy Tissage's 🛁 is spacious & deep. I took my warm soak after a long tiring walk each nights . The window view overseeing the harbour/port is calming however it rained on all my 7 days in Okinawa.. Fortunately on my final night the ☀️ showed up gracefully. Love the initiative that the hotel lobby has a display of few pamphlets of attractions.. Umikagi Terrace Senagajima one really caught my eye. Glad i went! I might only consider its tricky location though, as there's construction works going on during my visit in May . A 11-15mins walk frm hotel gets u to arrive into Asahibashi station. I took /booked a DiDi ride the morning which i had to leave for an international fligh home, a decent fare of ¥ 1950 to Naha airport. All staffs speaks great English! :D Bed is comfy, using Simmons mattress! 👍🏻 ✨ Okinawa works well if you rent a car... public transport is tricky as buses operates on schedule and often the buses were slightly delayed behind time due to traffic congestion. I'd recommend it anyway. 😁 Arigatogozhaimasu Tissage Hotel & staffs."

"This hotel offered a super hassle-free stay with excellent value for money! The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, featuring Okinawan local specialties like Okinawa soba noodles, Blue Seal purple sweet potato ice cream, Sata Andagi (Okinawan doughnuts), and jasmine tea, providing an immersive taste of local flavors. They also had classic Western breakfast options, including croissants, buttered bread, sausages, fried eggs, coffee, and juice, satisfying both Eastern and Western palates. The room amenities were very thoughtful, equipped with pajamas, a magnifying mirror, deodorant spray, and a refrigerator – more than sufficient for a daily stay. At the front desk, you could pick up complimentary combs, body scrub towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, face wash headbands, cotton swabs, mouthwash, and tea/coffee bags. Other toiletries needed to be brought by yourself. The location was absolutely fantastic! Right next door were Lawson and 7-Eleven convenience stores, making daily shopping super convenient. Across the street from the hotel, there was a delicious izakaya, and within a few hundred meters, you'd find all sorts of food establishments, so you'll never run out of places to eat and explore. Getting around was also incredibly easy; the meeting point for day tours was just a 300-meter walk away. You could walk to Tomari Port in 20 minutes or take a 6-minute taxi ride, making it super convenient for planning Okinawa day trips – a top choice for independent travelers. "We have stayed at this hotel numerous times since 2015, and it has consistently been a convenient choice due to its fantastic location near the train station. The breakfast is enjoyable, though the restaurant can feel a bit cramped, especially when it's busy with travelers. During this visit, we noticed that the room seemed recently renovated—it was clean and free of the cigarette smell that we had encountered during previous stays, even in non-smoking rooms. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience this time and truly enjoyed our stay."
