"Tiny room with an old and very small Queensize (??) bed. Everything seems to be really old, so does the dust in the corners of the room or of the ventilation in the bathroom. Service was okay... we could convince them to leave our bicycles outside the hotel entrance (no way to leave them at the ”luggage storage” inside the lobby). Drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, tea and soft drinks are for free. Microwave free. Also they have a bath house but no sauna for the girls - unfortunately. Best option in town."

"I originally planned a trip to Fukuoka but came to Saga for the Saga beef. I booked the convenient Comfort Hotel Saga. The room was really small, and they didn't provide drinking water. On the first floor, they only offered basic cotton swabs and toothbrushes, so I was glad I brought my own cotton pads and shower cap. Check-in and check-out at the hotel were self-service. The hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's within walking distance to Saga Castle and the Balloon Museum. It's also right next to Saga JR Station, and you can take a bus to the famous YouMe Town in Saga. The bus stops are well-connected and right by the JR station, making it very convenient. However, at over 700 [currency unit] per night, the value for money isn't great when it's not peak season. If you prioritize convenient transportation, this place could be a good choice."

"The hotel had a very good location which is just next to the JR station. The room is very clean and has a good view. Staff at the reception are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet style with excellent food. But it would be better if dessert or some fruit could be served too. Anyway the breakfast was very good."

"Nicely designed hotel. But rooms are small and tight. Not easy to walk around. Location a little off the center of Saga City but lots of car parking available. Service was good and helpful. And you can even buy a fireworks and play!"

"My first experience in Saga. I got a good deal on a flight ticket during the cherry blossom season. I landed in Fukuoka and then headed south to Saga. It was very convenient and there were not many people during the cherry blossom season. The hotel was just opposite Saga Station. I was still debating whether to change to a comfort inn, but found that it was fully booked for the days I wanted to stay. So I thought forget it. A business hotel for 300+, with a bath at night and meals included in the morning, what more could I ask for!"

"It is an old house with history. It is very artistically decorated and filled with many paintings and calligraphy. The location is some distance from Saga Station, and a taxi from the JR station costs about 1,000 yen. If you walk, it takes about 20 minutes and you will pass through China Town. There are many restaurants and coffee shops on the road. Diagonally across from the hotel is Tamaya (a long-established department store in Saga), but this road is extremely quiet and the Japanese-style rooms have a very nice mood. But the area is really too small. After making the bed at night, there is basically no place to stand. On the first day of check-in, the hotel may have many guests, but something ”bad” happened. First, the toilet in the bathroom was not wiped clean. The waiter came to apologize sincerely and moved us to another room. Then we went downstairs for dinner, but when we came up, they should have made the bed while we were dining, but maybe there was not enough service staff. , the bed was not made. But fortunately they were all resolved in time. The proprietress of the hotel is very elegant. There is a service staff at the front desk who is very good in Chinese, Japanese and English. There is no problem in communication. We stayed for two consecutive days, and they specially prepared different contents for dinner so as not to eat the same thing two days. This is very thoughtful. If you come to Saga and want to try a quiet family hotel, but don’t have time to go to the mountains in the countryside, then this one is highly recommended."

"This hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a beautiful environment. The rooms are spacious with great views, and the breakfast is a Japanese-style buffet. The hot spring baths are large and clean; I especially loved the indoor pulse-jet onsen and the outdoor dry sauna cabin. The air in the mountains is fresh, and the climate is cool. "A three-story hotel with only stairs. Breakfast is included, and you can also change to rice balls (meal in your room). Breakfast was delicious. It's not a card key, it's a regular apartment key. So you have to lock the door yourself when you enter the room. The area around the hotel was pitch black and there was only a convenience store. Don't expect too many amenities. Women need full equipment. Smoking is allowed, so there is a distinct cigarette smell. It's a very inconvenient place if you don't have a car."
