The hot springs are also great, well-equipped, and thoughtful in detail. However, the toilet and bathroom in the room are extremely small and a bit inconvenient. The biggest issue is the entryway/foyer inside the room, and the toilet is a step higher than this area. To enter or exit the toilet, you first have to step down into the foyer and then step up into the toilet. Both my mother and I almost tripped several times."

"Family room is very large and there is a attic floor room with refrigerator shower and toilet separation very clean no smell very quiet there is a laundry room with a dryer there are other Japanese tourists staying on the same day the boss is very good and very happy to help you can make an appointment to pick you up to the station or Wen Quanjie at night, we took a boat to watch the fireworks at night at 9:20. "I was a little conflicted about my experience here. I was not sure if I would come back to the hotel given the high price point didnt really match the service. To begin with we were left alone at the check in kiosk to complete the check in on our own. There were so many staff everywhere and I noticed other staff were assisting other guests attentively. Then after completion of check in we noticed three small cups of welcome beverages beside our luggages. We have to ask the staff if they were prepared for us or not as nobody was there to serve us. That is really bad by the standard of the hotel. Might as well not serve the drinks. Dinner wise we were initially very impressed by the food spread during the dinner buffet. However we were so thirsty after the meal I guessed the kitchen had been quite generous with msg. It was also disappointing for the room windows to have stains / streaks as they affects the beautiful view of lake toya. So at the end of the day I guess it was the matter of expectation not being met as we really looked forward to the most expensive stay for our Hokkaido trip."

"Along Lake Toya, there's a row of hotels, much like Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. I chose this one, and it offers great value for money. There were quite a few ********* tour groups staying here. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style and quite extensive, with fresh ingredients. However, don't expect fancy tableware or presentation. I booked a lake-view room, and the small balcony was a nice touch. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, so it's a convenient option if your stay doesn't include meals."

"Excellent location with a beautiful view of Lake Toya. The western Japanese room is lake facing. Able to view the fireworks directly from the room. Very basic amenities. Hotel has a free private carpark. Wide spread of buffet breakfast."

"The room facilities are a bit old, but the space is decent. The main draw is the good value for money, especially with the half-board option (dinner and breakfast included), which is very convenient even if the variety was a bit repetitive. The best part was definitely the outdoor hot spring, and they also have a shuttle bus to Sapporo Station."

"Stayed at the Deluxe Villa in WE Hotel Toya Dusit Collection and it was honestly one of the nicest stays during our Hokkaido trip. The villa was extremely spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a very modern Japanese style. What surprised us most was how big the villa actually was — it came with 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets, a large living room, dining area, laundry room, and even 2 floors. It truly felt more like staying in a luxury private house rather than a hotel. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway near Lake Toya. We especially loved the warm wood interior, tatami-style seating area, huge windows, and cozy living space. The bedrooms were comfortable and the entire villa was very well maintained."

"The facilities are a little aged, but that is to be expected in a small town further away from the main city. The room was well heated during winter, and the room itself was clean. The toilet however, had a terrible stench. It was reflected to the staff but there was nothing they could do about it. On the bright side, the stench went away after turning on the ventilator for about 10 minutes. The location is perfect for walking over to the lake and to convenience stores nearby, and the onsen was very good."

"There's no front desk service in the early morning, so this place is more suitable for guests who drive. There are no shops nearby either. However, the view outside the window when you wake up in the morning is absolutely beautiful and puts you in a great mood. The bed is large, but the bathroom and bathtub are a bit old. The jacuzzi function on the tub is broken and unusable."
