"I've stay for business purpose. A little recommendation for the hotel: 1. Hotel signboard should be put on the opposite road of entrance. This should help your customers to see it more clearly 2. This hotel got it's own private beach and recreation ground. Please clean it properly. Your customer will enjoy staying at your hotel especially families & business travellers 3. Your wifi coverage to be able to cover all the location of chalets & hotel room. Really advisable and helpful to the customers since the telco network quit weak there."

"Overall it it very good to stay Berjaya Tioman Resort. We got free transfer from jetty to resort. All the stuff are friendly. Only the pool's towel is not enough to be used when we need more. Told by the stuff that they haven't received from their laundry department on the morning. Was wondering this was not coordinate well for such a high standard resort? Management have to look into it to avoid any disappointment from other visitors."

"Good location which is near to the main Rombin town area , arrived at around 150pm and the reception don allow us to check in as check in is on 2PM ! But after round of discussion they allow us to check in 10 min eariler . what a great service ! "

"1. The lights near the gate are dim, some aren't working. Poor lighting. It's easy to miss the turn. 2. Parking is okay, there's even parking for EV cars. 3. The lobby is okay too, and the staff at the counter were also just okay. 4. Dining area. Hmm, maybe you can do better. 5. The pool is suitable for kids. 6. Private beach ✅✅✅ clean. Not sure if it's safe to swim though. 7. Cleanliness. - The toilet had a slight smell, not very clean 2.8/5 - Sheets and pillows, not clean. - Towels had dirty spots. - The AC was dripping water, yes! It reached the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep because I could feel the droplets on my face. 8. My husband got bed bugs, his legs and body were covered in bites. 9. Buffet breakfast changed to 'sahur' (the taste wasn't bad, it was okay). - White rice. Chicken with curry, I think? The chicken pieces were small. 2 prawns. Sliced watermelon & Sunquick/fresh orange juice? (At least offer ice cream as a dessert replacement). I don't have pictures for any of this because I was tired from the journey from Seremban, and then I got a room like that (Room number 1079). Disappointed. I only loved the beach. 😇"

"This hotel never failed me, we had enjoyed the stays there. The hotel is quite a distance from the town (20mins taxi ride, but we enjoyed the scenery along the way). The hotel is not crowded, u can fully relax and enjoy the breeze without the crowds. The room is can consider clean, 2 queen size beds in a room are for my children. I asked for an extra mattress which charged me rm50 per night, I have encountered bed bugs sleeping on the mattress(but my two children beds are clean, they did not have the issue of bed bug). The hotel serve nice food, but a bit pricey. However, there are Malay stalls nearby which charged slightly cheaper and the food taste good as well. The hotel provides sea sports like snorkeling, diving, volleyball, jungle trekking, and there are band playing music (not during Ramadan). We will definitely come back."

As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. "Loved our stay at this clean, modern villa. Super peaceful in April—no crowds, just relaxing vibes. The boat and buggy ride to reception was a cool touch, and the scenery was stunning. Great spot for a quiet, luxurious getaway. Would be even better with more activities or things to do at night."
