First the cons , their in room dining and housekeeping delivery is very very slow. .For getting a bottle of water l had to wait for more than 30 mins and 5 calls . it might be cuz it was a Friday night . l didn't like their straightup bar , ambience was good but the cocktails weren't good .infact one of the cocktails l told them to change as they completely missed my instructions . Now the Pros The Hotel sits just beside the IT park and it connects directly to the Ayala mall . the room we were in Studio room with kitchenette had all the things necessary for a corporate long stay , refer the pictures. It has a proper functional working table for remote workers . This location l found better than the SM city side . Room was clean , comfortable beds . lot of space in the cupboard .didn't get a chance to use their swimming pool . Very modern rooms probably newly renovated or built .

One for the books! Everything is impeccably done from the service to the food! Earl who assisted us with our check in and check out was brilliant, helpful and professional. We are very delighted with our stay and we look forward to staying in Nustar hotel again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST hostel experience I’ve ever had! I honestly cannot recommend Yellow Umbrella Hostels in Cebu City enough. From the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, every single part of my stay exceeded my expectations. The first thing that stood out was how spotlessly clean everything was. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas, everywhere was exceptionally well maintained. You can really tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping the hostel comfortable, organized, and welcoming. What truly makes this place special, though, is the people. Manager Glen deserves special recognition. He goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, valued, and at home. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for guests create such a positive atmosphere that you can feel it throughout the entire hostel. And honestly, the rest of the staff were just as incredible. I would write names but truly every staff was amazing because every single person I met was outstanding. They were always smiling, approachable, eager to help, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests’ experiences unforgettable. That level of hospitality is rare and deserves to be celebrated. The atmosphere is warm, safe, and incredibly comforting. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this hostel makes it easy to relax, meet amazing people, and truly enjoy your time in Cebu. The service was consistently exceptional, every request was handled quickly, every interaction was friendly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I’ve stayed in many accommodations while traveling, and Yellow Umbrella Hostels genuinely ranks among the very best. It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a place that makes you feel at home. The Hotel and staff did really well during the Sinulog festival! They organised workshop and provided gifts and souvenirs. It is also very close to one of the main festival areas. The only disappointment was the kaldereta we ordered from the kitchen which was ridiculously small amount (1 piece of meat). However there are many restaurants nearby. Hairdryer needs extra payment of 100 peso per night.

The hotel was very clean, and the service quality was excellent, making for a comfortable trip ✈️. Even when waiting for a taxi outside the hotel, the staff waited with us and chatted with us with a smile. As it was my first international trip, it created wonderful memories! The morning buffet was also a lot of fun, and everything was delicious!

We stayed for 6 hours before our flight in a triple room in the building opposite the one with the pool. The room was indeed small, but clean, modern, and well-designed. It had a desk with a chair if you needed to use a laptop, and lockers to store your belongings. Clean white bedding, towels, comfortable new mattresses and pillows, a large window, a bottle of water per person, shampoo, soap, and toothbrushes were provided. The urban design didn't bother us at all – in fact, it was a pleasant change after traveling through rural areas. The reception desk works very efficiently, there's a cafe downstairs, and a restaurant on the rooftop, along with a small pool and a nice area to sit in the evening with city views. The location is convenient, with a 7/11, places to eat, and drink all just a stone's throw away. There's also security. It's 3 km to Ayala Center (about 100 pesos by Grab). Overall, a very good impression. An excellent option for 1-2 nights.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tsai Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. We I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, Tsai Hotel provided great value for money with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. The staff were very kind, helping with luggage and showing me where to refill my water bottle. As for the bathroom, there's no shower curtain, but the water pressure isn't strong enough for water to splash everywhere. It was a bit of a shame to see some small rust spots, though.

Good experience. The beds little bit make noise because old but clean and also possibility to have buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and kind . Recomanded

This is my first time booking this hotel and I thought I will never have a chance to stay here. Before my wedding, I booked this hotel since it’s near the church location. We enjoyed the stay. It’s just that we did not get to enjoy the TV because YouTube or other apps won’t work. All throughout the stay we weren’t able to use the TV. Also I called the lobby 5x to ask for a replacement for the 2 mugs for coffee before someone actually gets there to replace it AT THE MORNING. Haven’t also had the time to enjoy pool because we check in late. But their service is good. The hotel is nice. I will surely book again if their TV is already fixed lol. Also two key cards for room and elevator is really hassle on our part. It should’ve been 1 key card, all access, 2pcs since we’re 2 adults. I really appreciate the hotel staff for catering my entourage, we were able to prepare before my wedding and took some pictures at the lobby and pool. Thank you!
