One of the highlights of the resort is its beautiful beachfront location with stunning views of Alona Beach.
The pool facilities are exceptional. The resort features three large swimming pools on different levels: there was always plenty of space available to swim or lounge by the water.
The pool bars were another great feature, with their 2-for-1 happy hour promotion on drinks, which offered excellent value and made sunset cocktails even more enjoyable.
Overall, Henann Beach Resort delivers an excellent combination of comfort, service, facilities, and location.

"The hotel overall is decent, and the environment is nice. However, the biggest drawback is the lack of hot water for showers. You have to request hot water from the front desk in advance. Unfortunately, even after I asked the front desk for hot water, I ran the tap for ages and only cold water came out – I almost caught a cold! In the end, a staff member boiled water in a kettle and gave me a bucket to shower. I don't know which genius came up with this failed energy-saving design of not even installing a water heater, it's truly speechless. Plus, the hotel doesn't provide thick duvets, only thin duvet covers, quite similar to some hotels in European countries."

"Let's start with the downsides:
1. My room, number 5, had a broken toilet flush button. It's too old and needs replacing.
2. The shower had unstable hot water in the morning, and the water pressure was uneven. It's also too old and needs replacing.
3. There were ants crawling up from the sink. Every time I left the room, I'd close the drain cover and block their path with water.
4. The refrigerator was out of order.
5. The bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on; it was saggy and offered no support. Extremely uncomfortable.
6. The hotel is located near a residential area, so rooster crowing every morning affected my sleep somewhat.
7. The music played in the resort grounds started too early in the morning and ended too late at night.
8. The entire Panglao Island, and perhaps even all rural areas in the Philippines, seems to have a habit of burning trash, so you'd occasionally smell smoke.
Now for the positives:
1. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly; they'd greet me every time I passed the front desk.
2. The resort grounds were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The linens were also very clean.
3. The air conditioning worked great for dehumidifying and cooling.
4. The curtains provided excellent blackout.
5. It's very close to the beach, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a quiet location despite being close to amenities, away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas.
Overall: Outdated facilities are the biggest problem with this hotel, and it requires a large-scale upgrade and renovation."

"I was very disappointed after seeing breakfast buffet in this hotel! Knowing that it wasn’t cheap hotel and has lots of branches over Philippines, I didn’t expect that the buffet would be considering only Philippino and Chinese taste. Eggs weren’t even cooked well, hash brown smelled with old oil, most of the food contains pork, not much fruit choice ( only two ) , coffee tasted as though coffee machine wasn’t cleaned for ages. I raised a complaint knowing I had food poisoning after 2 consecutive days! All I heard is sorry we can provide you veggies … is it a best offer knowing how much we paid for this hotel! Then at least give people option of not including breakfast to the room price. Concerning room no problem, clean and nice."

"We loved the hotel’s amenities and the buffet breakfast. One thing we truly appreciated was the cleanliness of the room, especially the fresh, clean-smelling bed linens. It’s always comforting to sleep and wake up knowing the bed is spotless and well-maintained.
The only downside for us was the lack of nearby restaurants. Whenever we wanted to try something different from the hotel’s food, we had to order through GrabFood.
We also hope the beachfront can be better maintained. It would be much more enjoyable if the beach were cleaner, with less seagrass, so guests could comfortably swim and make the most of the beautiful location.

"This time, I went on a trip to the Philippines, staying 5 nights in Bohol and 3 nights in Cebu. The Hennan Resort in Bohol was truly excellent.
We arrived around 11 AM after a half-day diving schedule, and fortunately, our room was ready, so we were able to check in immediately and get into our room quickly.
The accommodation itself was really clean, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. They promptly resolved any service requests we had, so I think I'll definitely stay here again if I visit Bohol in the future.
The pool was also well-maintained, and overall, it was a very satisfying stay."

Guest UserDue to our baby's sudden gastroenteritis, we had to switch hotels last minute. We were feeling anxious and exhausted, but unexpectedly, we found a family-like warmth here.
Late at night, I tentatively called the front desk, not expecting much, but to my surprise, the hotel quickly prepared a warm bowl of plain congee and delivered it to our room. The congee was fragrant and perfectly soft, and at that moment, I was truly touched – for a sick child, this was more precious than any delicacy. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful; they continuously checked in on our baby's recovery and offered considerate assistance, instantly calming our frantic hearts in a foreign place.
Once our baby felt better, we finally had the energy to visit the beach. The beach here was uncrowded, with fine sand and a gentle sea breeze. The entire bay was as serene as a painting, making for an absolutely fantastic experience.
Truly great hotels aren't just about luxurious facilities; they're about the human touch they provide during unexpected situations. Very Filipino aesthetic. We ended up staying in the hotel more. The restaurants are also good especially the spanish one where we had the best tapas! Worth every penny.

Nuri/누리The hotel experience was mixed depending on the room assigned. The first room was in okay condition, although there was a slight smell. The second room was not the best, but the last room we received was very good and much more comfortable. So overall, the experience may vary depending on which room you get.
We really enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool, which was very nice. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is convenient if you need quick access to the airport, especially for late-night or early-morning flights. However, it is quite far from the city center, so getting a taxi or tuk-tuk can sometimes be challenging unless you book through the Maxim app, which requires a local phone number for registration.

The location is another big plus. It's tucked away in a quiet area, so you can truly enjoy the serenity, yet it's still just a short ride or walk to Alona Beach and nearby restaurants and attractions.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was the coffee served every morning. It was always fresh and delicious, and it became something we looked forward to each day. The staff were also warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home.

It's located in an alley off the main road leading to Alona Beach, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy, close access to the beach. I was really pleased with the great value for money and the simple, clean environment; the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious. The downsides are that you need to bring your own toiletries, the water pressure for showering isn't strong enough, and there was a brief power outage once that led to the water being cut off. Overall, it was still a pretty good stay! 😊

AichimiqilindezhenniI stayed at Bohol Haitang Resort for one night as a temporary stopover while getting my diving certification in Bohol. It was perfectly adequate for that purpose.
The ground floor room I stayed in felt quite damp, and the overall cleanliness was just average. I noticed stains around the sink and in the corners of the bathroom, so the cleaning wasn't very thorough.
The upside is its convenient location, not far from the dive shop, making it suitable for a quick stay or short overnight. I wouldn't recommend it if you have high standards for accommodation and cleanliness. However, if you're on a budget and just need a simple place to crash for diving, without being too picky about your lodging, then staying here for a night could be an option.

The photos don't reflect what you'll actually get; they must be old. We had an 'enhanced' room, and I dread to imagine what the standard ones are like. The room was tiny, and you had to walk through the restaurant to get to it. You could hear the kitchen working and music from outside. But the biggest issue was the bathroom: it has a window that looks out onto the main corridor. My tall husband confirmed you can see everything if you peek in, especially if the shower curtain isn't fully closed! Plus, the room's 'terrace' also opens into the corridor. On the beach outside, they're building stairs for access, so if you're coming soon, be prepared for construction work. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel. We tried to cancel the remaining days, but the hotel wouldn't approve the cancellation.

Average accommodations on the road to Alona beach but not right on the beach itself. It is a very popular place. The room was medium-small in size. It did not have a fridge or other accessories. Rather limited. All of Alona beach has exaggerated prices compared to the services in my opinion and moreover in low season. Choose the right season before going there
