Stumbled across this hotel on our trqvels and are we glad we did! We had not booked but the lovely lady on reception sorted us a room. The manager arrived and gave us our key whilst he sorted the booking so we could go and freeshen up before our evening meal, he was very helpful throughout our stay and very apprachable. The restaurant attached is lovely and the evening meal was delicious. The hotel has a very cosy vibe to it and the rooms are some of the best I have been in. Bathroom is clean and big with a really powerful shower. Bed was comfy and tea, coffee, hot chocolate, shortbread, tea cakes and bottles of water are provided in the room. All the staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast was great value, all traditional cereals, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and a selection of cheesed and meats. There was even an offer of an omelette. Tea, coffee and juice is provided along with fresh smoothies which you must try. If you are looking for a relaxing night this is definitely the place to stay.

An absolute adorable Manor house and an exceptional place to stay when visiting the Scottish Highlands. Central to Loch Ness and a scenic drive to Skye, the accommodations where wonderful. Staff was lovely and did a fantastic job handling this large group of 18 people. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was great. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Highlands.

The Manor was an excellent place to stay on our trip to the Highlands. Staff was more than outstanding. We were a group of 18 and everyone thought the stay was fantastic! The food was also great. We did breakfast and dinner there and loved everything. We will return there on our next trip to the Highlands.

What an amazing find! Needed a place to stay last minute and we stumbled on this gem. Incredible atmosphere and decor, gorgeous setting, and every detail thought of. Wonderful hot breakfast with made to order eggs and tea and a huge buffet spread. Freston and Pooja were genuinely hospitable and helpful. A memorable experience .

Wonderful stay. It was a quiet silver wedding anniversary celebration and we were looking for a touch of luxury. I adored the place. It has had a major upgrade and refurbishment and it’s been money week spent. Every little touch had been thought of. Midge screens on the double glazed sash windows, underfloor heating in the bathroom, even a log burner in our suite. Perfect. The food was brilliant but I’d stick to the Indian choices as the chef is clearly expert in Indian cuisine. The service and staff was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting a proper hotel experience in the highlands.

Throughly enjoyed our lunch here. The menu was varied and quality of food was brilliant. Very attentive service - what's not to love?! It can take some effort to get to Rokeby but it is well worth investing the time and planning, and obviously perfectly placed if touring the Highlands.

I don’t know where to start! We arrived Friday 2nd February after a 7 hour drive up, we were called by the manager around 6.30pm informing us the the kitchen and bar would be closing at 9pm (we told them previous that we wouldn’t get there until around 8.30pm as coming from Liverpool ) he offered us a choice of food when we arrived, this was very welcomed as we were very hungry. 1st impressions were that the hotel looked beautiful with the lights on outside, we weren’t disappointed when we went inside, it was so welcoming, the manager was lovely, polite and informative. Our bedroom was beautiful, very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, the shower was very powerful too, China cups no less in the bedroom with good tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was exceptional in our opinion, lovely freshly made food in beautiful surroundings and Pooja was a great hostess! We couldn’t fault the experience! We ordered curry in the evening and we can honestly say it was the best curry we had ever tasted, this was echoed by other guests in the restaurant, it was so nice we ordered it again the next night. The staff were amazing, very friendly, couldn’t do enough for their guests. My only ****** would be that the pillows need replacing, although very clean they went flat very quickly and I had to as for a 3rd pillow, even this though was not a problem and once was promptly delivered to the room. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, perfect hotel in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Fort Augustus.

We stayed at Rokeby Manor and celebrated our anniversary.  it is very easy to find and well signposted, parking was plentiful and they even had reserved parking areas for Motorbikes. On this occasion, we had ventured out on four wheels. But a follow-up visit on two wheels is definitely on the cards. This is one of three hotels recently purchased and upgraded by an Indian firm. Indians are well known for their hospitality and it shines from this place. Check-in was so easy and relaxed, The interior decor and our room (room 12) were well presented, and we reserved a slot for dinner, probably not needed on this trip but it did get busy later. The hotel was comfortably warm, and all the windows had fly screens on the outside. you can sleep with the window open and not worry about the midge in the summer, bonus :)  the staff in the restaurant a lovely women for Dinner and Freston for breakfast were attentive and went out of our way to look after us and make sure we were relaxing and having a great time. I spoke with Nabil the General Manager about the hotel and he was like the rest of the staff polite and eager to please and make our stay as comfortable as possible. While the hotel has a highland charm, the food is a healthy fusion of Indian i Scotland. It was delicious. portions were great and it was delivered in the restaurant which had some excellent tunes playing quietly in the background. many of the guests commented on just how good the playlist was. I understand Nabil put it together. if that's true can I get a link to the playlists :)  If you're still reading this and wondering if it's a place for you. JUST GET IT BOOKED and if it's full check out the other hotels nearby in the chain. The Cluanie Inn or the Whispering Pines. both look fantastic. This place is an Oasis of tranquillity and hospitality in the glens of highland scotland and is not to be missed.  many of the folks present were holidaymakers and predominantly couples although if I was on my own I'd still stay here. It's a great place to use as a base if you are touring, fort William is just down the road an hour's drive will take you to the 5Isle of Skye or Inverness from there you could cruise around Loch Ness enjoying the trip and being told about the history of the famous loch and Nessie! plenty of tables outside where you could sit in the summer enjoying a drink or perhaps some food. lastly a big thanks to all the staff from the cleaners to the Manager for making our stay as lovely as it was. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a room next time I'm up thaat way. It's going to be a very popular place I think.

Good winter accommodation price and pleasant setting, well situated off the main highland route. Carpets were a miss with dusty, rustic floorboards instead. The room was pleasant but would benefit from a deep clean. (There was a stale biscuit on the floor upon entering and floor corners/skirtings were dirty). Bed was clean and comfortable and the room was warm and cosy. Lovely furnishings and bathroom. Insufficient coffee/milk etc although bottled water and teacakes welcome 😋 TV was a mystery! We couldn’t watch the news in the morning only ‘Cheers’ on 4 channels 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ A reasonable winter stop off (and price) with lovely staff and a friendly welcome. The restaurant is however very expensive and the breakfast fair (better quality meats, coffee and scrambled eggs would be appreciated).
