Room exactly as described with everything you need for a short stay. The shower was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was really good - I used the microwave, fridge, and freezer. The kettle in the bedroom had to be used on the floor as the lead did not stretch from the top of the chest of draws to the socket. Milk was provided, which was really appreciated on arrival. I was away from the room for external meetings and also had Teams meetings in the room. The small table and chairs supported this. I had to use my telephone wifi as site wifi was not fast enough to support my Teams meeting during my visit. The heating was externally controlled, and appeared to be timed to start warming up around 0700hrs in the morning and again in the evening, so the room got really quite cold during the day. I was shivering during one of my late afternoon meetings, despite being wrapped up with the duvet on my legs. The radiators all have local thermostatic valves, so you can elect to have the room warmer or colder (as long as the heating is on). The towel rail in the bathroom was on for a longer duration and did a good job of drying towels. The mirror remained steamed up for 30 minutes after a shower. Overall a good stay, just a bit too cold in winter to have Teams meetings inside.

• I recently stayed at The Jacobite House and had such a wonderful visit. My flight arrived in Inverness very late, and I caught a taxi to the accommodation. Self check-in was so simple thanks to the instructions provided by the owner. After a long two days of travel, I was thankful to open the door to my room and find such lovely accommodations. Plenty of room, comfy bed, tv, kettle, oscillating fan, and en suite. Everything I could ask for was already provided! :) • The location cannot be beat! It is in the heart of Inverness’ city centre..shops and restaurants just steps away. As a solo female traveler, it was also incredibly safe and secure. I booked a tour through Rabie’s and The Jacobite House was a short ten minute walk from Inverness Cathedral where my tour pickup spot was. • I cannot leave a review without mentioning how incredible and hospitable the owners are. Upon checking out, I realized I accidentally left my Air Pods on the nightstand. I reached out to them via email, and they immediately responded that they had found them. Because I had already flown out of Scotland, they offered to mail them to me at my home address in the US. Although I offered to pay for the shipping since it was completely my mistake, they said “no need” and would not accept any payment. I could not believe how kind they had been! In this day and age, you don’t often find people who are so willing and eager to help others, so they truly hold a special place in my heart.

The location is absolutely perfect! So easy to find from the train station and next door to all the top pubs and restaurants. The room we had was cute, comfortable, and very quiet. The entry and room key process was easy to understand and very convenient, especially for odd arrival times.

The Jacobite house is very well located. It is central, close to bars, restaurant and shops. Less than 5min walk from bus and trains and right beside the taxi company. Just perfect for us. Only problem: some other resident can get noisy in the corridor if you are trying to have a lazy morning in bed. Otherwise booking and check-in/out perfect and staff on the phone very helpfull. Would definitely come back!

Stay was fine. None of the robes fit - inclusive sizing would be great. There is zero soundproofing so people in the hall sounded like they were inside my room. The bed was super weird - it sloped to one side so I felt like I was going to roll off -ended up switching sides and that was fine but that obviously wouldn't work for a pair. The kettle cord didn't reach the outlet so I had to put it on the floor to use it. The kitchen is a nice amenity and all-in-all it was a pleasant stay but a few thoughtful improvements would go a long way.

This is a highland gem right in the centre of Inverness. It was 2 minutes from the rail station, 6 or 7 from the bus station and has a Wetherspoons just down the street. We had room 2 which was a 1st floor flat with a dining area and a kitchen/lounge area. These were shared with the occupant of room 1.There was a large fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery and plates etc. Everything you need to self cater if so inclined. We were and it saved us a fortune. Not very far away was an Iceland and just over the river was a Tesco. We spent 6 days there using it as a base to tour the North of Scotland by rail. Parking may be an issue if travelling by car though. Our only issue was the lack of instructions for the cooker and the multi facilities the microwave oven boasted. Grill, oven, microwave or a combination of several was puzzling. The flat has only just been made available so instructions for the gadgets haven't yet been sorted out but I am sure they soon will be. We were very happy with the accommodation which allowed us to come and go as we pleased without wondering where breakfast or dinner was coming from

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property, the bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. Communication with the hosts was timely and excellent. The property is in the city centre within walking distance to railway and main coach stations, and all the other main attractions. We liked that there was a common kitchen with all the cooking facilities.

Fantastic stay in a very lovely location for walking around the city center. Very convenient location for the train station as well. Only small downside was a not very comfortable mattress, but other than that it is a wonderful place to stay.

We could not find the address due to small sign and a poorly lighted area.
