Our stay at Loch Ness Lodge was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, the view was amazing, food was delicious, and the hospitality was impeccable. Gabriel and Jaro treated us like we were the most important guests they had ever received. But I’m sure every guest felt this way. Breakfasts were a delight and the cream tea in front of the lit fireplace was very special. What a wonderful experience. Scotland in the spring was bursting with flowers and hospitality. Our stay at the beautiful Loch Ness Lodge heightened this experience even more. Thank you for the lovely time.

My husband, daughter and I were fortunate enough to stay here during our vacation in Scotland. The lodge was stunning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Gabriel was the perfect host. The view from our room was perfect as we saw many rainbows over Loch Ness from our windows. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend the Loch Ness Lodge.

This is one of the best hospitality experiences my wife and I ever had. We are lucky to travel quite often and stay in some amazing hotels/inns globally and Loch Ness Lodge was a special treat. Gabriel, Sonja, Yarrow, and the entire staff were beyond amazing. The Lodge is perfectly located with breathtaking views of Loch Ness. We were lucky enough to stay in the Assynt suite and it was fabulous. Huge room, comfortable bed and a very large and luxurious bathroom. The setting for this lodge is breathtaking and feels perfectly cozy in this beautiful region. Its perfectly located for exploring Loch Ness, Inverness, and much of the Highlands (my brother-in-law and I even drove the hour to play Royal Dornoch). The morning breakfast is fantastic and the hospitality is amazing. Gabriel is the consummate host and made our stay beyond enjoyable and memorable. Gabriel and Yarrow both made amazing dining recommendations (Make sure you try Fiddlers in town). We will be back for sure!!!

We changed our travel plans and were able to book a room at the Loch Ness Lodge at the last minute. The service and accommodations were top notch. When we arrived we were met and welcomed in the driveway. Then they carried our bags to our room, with a view of Loch Ness. We arrived on a cloudy afternoon and had a beautiful view, but we awoke to a sunny morning with an absolutely stunning view. We opted for breakfast at the lodge. It was both generous and delicious. The eggs were fresh and perfectly prepared, and if you are a fan of the full Scottish breakfast you will not be disappointed.

A delightful one night stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in a room on the first floor called Assynt - which was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and with a lovely view over the loch. The bathroom and fittings were of a very high quality with a beautiful cast iron free standing bath . The breakfast was exceptionally good with everything cooked freshly to order. Gabriel was an attentive and charming host who clearly has a natural flair for looking after his guests. Although the lodge has nine bedrooms, it has the ambiance of a large private home with interesting books, artwork and a choice of seating areas. We have high standards when travelling (which are unfortunately often not met!) however Loch Ness Lodge certainly hit the mark and is deserving of its 5 star award. We will stay here again on future visits to the area. Highly recommended.

This is what the Trip Advisor site says: “Loch Ness Lodge is an elegant and intimate retreat - a luxury B&B - in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, which brings together the very best of traditional Scottish architecture and contemporary design. With seven sumptuous, individually designed bedrooms, elegant reception rooms, a spa and therapy area and access to some of Scotland's most stunning scenery, Loch Ness Lodge has everything you could need for an unforgettable break.” Unfortunately, it’s not quite true. Although a lovely B&B, it does not have a spa or therapy rooms nor does it have everything you need for an unforgettable break. If you are an American and think you are getting 5 star lodge, you will be disappointed as were we. It has none of the amenities we are accustomed to at a 5 star facility based on US standards. It is indeed a lovely Bed and Breakfast with superb service. When the manager realized we were disappointed he offered a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was very generous. The staff goes over and above to make guests feel welcome. We appreciated that. The room had a great view of the Loch Ness and was comfortably appointed. Other than breakfast, there are no meals served here. You can request a charcuterie plate in advance. For lunch or dinner you must walk down a hill to a nearby restaurant (The Clansman). Otherwise, you have to get a taxi into Inverness (about 20 minutes). The hill makes it unadvisable for people with mobility issues. Overall, if you are interested in an upscale B&B you will appreciate Loch Ness Lodge and its wonderfully hospitable staff.

First time visit to Inverness and selected this hotel based on the location and Tripadvisor reviews, we were not disappointed for our 4 night stay. Firstly, we were met by the host and manager, Gabriel who greeted us outside the front door to help with our luggage in from the car and then up-to our our room. Both Gabriel and his colleague, Jaro were very attentive throughout our stay, always asking how our day was and our plans, ready to offer assistance at any time. This is the best hosting service we have had from any hotel we've stayed at. There is nothing to fault with the accommodation which is complemented by the fantastic views and ample Breakfast options. All the staff are very friendly and equally attentive. We will definitely be back to stay.

Don’t hesitate, just book! Stunning location, beautiful property, comfortable and luxurious bedrooms and public areas, exceptional service from a wonderful team led by Gabriel, and a delicious breakfast! You won’t be disappointed! From the moment we arrived to the second we departed, Gabriel and the team were just so considerate, attentive, friendly and did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed for two nights in one of the premium plus rooms. Our room was immaculate! Spacious, exceptionally clean, quality furniture and amazing views. The public lounges are cosy and comfortable, a real home from home experience. Breakfast was simply amazing. Quality food, perfectly prepared and presented, a real pleasure. All in all, we loved staying at the very special lodge and will return soon. Special thanks to Gabriel, what an amazing host!
