Excellent rooms, very clean and new and spacious. Very safe neighborhood. Convenient to restaurants and malls but that is Florida, one big shopping mall.

The maid service for the room was poor. When we arrived there was only 1 coffee cup. The items were not stocked on the 2 nd day., fresh was cloths, the bed wasn't made.

Although the lobby is clean, the room smells, one of the shears on the window was missing, the other one was badly shredded, the shower curtain didn’t work correctly, the bathtub stopper was in pieces.

Check In around midnight.The night supervisor had trouble getting keycards programmed (10 min for key cards). Got to room, it smelled bad of feces. Decided not to move as we were exhausted. Couldn’t get AC on-no directions. Going over to check unit under window my sister realized the rugs was SOAKING WET! When I walked over to check noticed brown stains on rug. Went back down to change rooms and the night supervisor was apologetic but with an attitude. We stayed friendly and polite and he did end up being pleasant but again he couldn’t program key cards. He finally got one programmed and we got to our clean room at about 1:15 or so. I love Courtyard by Marriott but would never stay in this one again.

I was quite unhappy with the surprise charge of $16.64 when we checked out for Parking Recapture Fee. The hotel has a large parking lot with always lots of parking spaces.
I think nickel and diming the guest is not good for business. I have never seen such a charge with Hilton or Hyatt hotels. In the future we will try to avoid hotels in the Marriott group.

The location, staff and facilities are all great.
Very friendly and welcoming and willingness to help.
Would definitely recommend and stay hete again.
