Wow! Best spot to stay in Jasper. The rooms are a bit dated, but cleanliness and friendly service and idyllic setting more than makes up for that. The lake is cold (as mountain lakes are) but uncrowded and quiet. The singing of the loons will enchant you. The staff are super friendly and obviously enjoy their jobs and they check in TWICE A DAY to see if you need towels or cleaning or supplies which is unheard of these days. One of the four rooms our family booked was renovated and gorgeous. Others were not renovated but beautifully maintained and clean. The owners have flowers planted everywhere and the grounds are lovely while still feeling natural. Truly what a mountain cabin stay should be. Bonus- the level grounds make it easy with strollers or seniors to get around (as opposed to Pyramid Lake cabins up the road). This was our second stay here and we have already booked for next year! Hands down best family cabin resort in the Rockies.

The staff are 5 plus star. The accommodations are 2-3 star depending on which room you are lucky enough to get. That being said if you are used to staying at places that are nicer, you may pass on this. We attempted to book 16 months in advance based on high reviews. What I have slowly learned is reviewers definitely take price into consideration, we requested the maple cabin as we have a family of 5. They prioritize returning patrons, so about 11-12 months in advance they replied they could accommodate us in the maple for 2 nights and the duplex for our 3rd night. Should have just done the Fairmont down the road or the maple 2 nights. The maple cabin is nice, more recently built, and most importantly has A/C. The beds are comfortable, but there is no shade out the front, and no view of lake. Most of the places except maybe 2-4 have any sort of view of the lake. The duplex has motel basic limited space, no A/C, and it’s impossible to shower without touching the wet curtain. It does have shade in the front, which is nice. It’s hot in jasper, for unfamiliar travelers. Jasper is the same altitude as Tucson. Air conditioning is extremely handy here. So I probably wouldn’t recommend the duplex to any travelers who are not on a budget. Just being honest. The staff are lovely. Someone brought us fans without being asked around 3pm which was kind.

We stayed for 3 nights in a lake front Type 4 cottage in June 2024. The cottage itself was very comfortable with a gas fire, well stocked kitchen and appliances and a nice bathroom. The view from our cottage of the lake was just amazing. We did plan to kayak on the lake which is very reasonably priced, but windy conditions prevented us. Hopefully we can do this next time as we will definitely return.

We stayed three nights in a type 4 cottage one back from the lake. Comfortable, quiet and roomy. Location with view of the lake and elk wandering through in the evening lovely. Note there isn't a grill or oven so everything is cooked on the hob Great value too.

We loved our stay at our lakeside bungalow. The bungalow was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for our needs. But it’s the location that you fall in love with. The lake is large with loons calling and mountains mirrored in its surface. Elk greeted us in the early morning and late evening daily. It is about a 10 minute drive from the town center which was ideal. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Jasper, we would stay here again in the same bungalow.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pyramid Cabin at Patricia Lake Bungalows. The bungalow was everything we thought it would be and more. Our bungalow was always tidy and was refreshed at least twice each day (Beds made, new towels, etc). We experienced no noise whatsoever. I would imagine (if necessary) quiet hours would be enforced although during our stay there wasn't the need for that as far as we could tell. The lake was beautiful and a very short walk. We didn't rent any of the boats but we could have. We also didn't use the hottub. We had a great grill which we used several times. I did use the laundry facility once which was great. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Going to town was so easy yet we were far enough away that we felt we really were separate from the town. We did several tours which picked us up right at the office of Patricia Lake Bungalows. That was helpful. I really can't recommend Patricia Lake Bungalows enough. We would stay here again, most definitely.

We always look forward to our trips to Jasper and we always stay at Patricia Lake Bungalows Resort. So, when they reopened for the season this year, we booked. Our cabin of choice is the Pine 1 in the Grove Suites and it never disappoints. Well equipped and spacious with views of the lake. It was clean comfortable and quiet. We were only there for 5 nights, but can't wait to go back.

Stayed in the Maple cabin last week and nothing but good to report about the stay. The entire complex is well cared for and clean. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely pleasant and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen area. We had a hard time finding a map of the layout of the cabins so, including a picture of the map provided us during the stay so you can get an idea of where a cabin you are considering is located on the property. The Maple where we stayed is in the upper corner of the properly so, a little less foot/car traffic going by in the busy season but, I think anywhere you stay here will be enjoyable and much more relaxing than one of the lodging properties in and around downtown Jasper. Thanks to all for the hard work put into keeping the property so well maintained and our stay completely enjoyable. We will be back!

What a lovely resort. Staff was great - super knowledgeable and helpful. They coldn’t do enough for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Love the fire pits and vista on the lake. If you have kids, it’s definitely a good place for families. Located just north of downtown Jasper. Lots of wildlife in and around the resort.
