Lilayi Lodge

Set in a few hundred acres of bush, containing many wild animals. There are a group of bungalows well furnished with a lovely pool, you can see some of the wild animals that venture close to the lodge. The food is of very good quality and service is exceptional also. There is a safari available that will take you around the extensive grounds

This is an amazing tranquil location. Staff were very welcoming and looked after me when I was recovering. Beautiful location on the outskirts of Lusaka. Lovely lovely lodges. I paid more than I normally would for accommodation but not t was really worth it. First chance I get to return to Zambia. I’ll be back. Thank you team Lilayi

Fabulous lodge and great location. We were thoroughly well looked after. All staff were helpful, friendly and professional . We really appreciated all the help and support they gave us. Fantastic accommodation, amazing meals and wine. Wine tasting experience not to be missed. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place, very peaceful and a place to see some giraffes, antelopes and warthogs - good animal conservation programme. The staff are very friendly and polite. Was very well looked after. One of my favourite places to visit in Zambia.

This was our second time at Lilayi but the first time staying overnight. We loved the location and the amenities. The room overlooking the garden was gorgeous, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset game drive with a bottle of Lilayi's lovely rosé, dinner with the wine tasting was perfect, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We booked our trip last minute but were amazed by the service we received during our stay. We will definitely be back if we have another chance!

During our family visit to Zambia from London, Lilayi Lodge emerged as a destination of choice, prompted by my sister's enthusiastic commendation. True to her endorsement, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The reservation process was seamless, and the rooms, tastefully appointed and generously sized, surpassed expectations. The impeccably designed bathrooms conveyed a sense of cleanliness and spaciousness. The inclusion of amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, mosquito nets, and reliable Wi-Fi further enriched our stay. The beds proved to be remarkably comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. Loved the balcony/verandah/sitout area off the room! Culinary offerings during both dinner and breakfast were characterised by a diverse selection of well-prepared dishes. Regrettably, our brief one-night stay did not afford us the opportunity to partake in the offered activities. Nevertheless, the courteous, professional, and helpful demeanor of the staff left a lasting impression. I would like to suggest the introduction of a traditional Afternoon Tea service, complete with sandwiches and scones, as an enhancement to the overall guest experience. In comparison to numerous international hotels and safari lodges I have frequented, Lilayi Lodge has earned its place within my top 7. I anticipate a return visit to further indulge in the quality offerings of this distinguished establishment.

It felt as though the kitchen was run by a culinary magician, or perhaps an extraterrestrial chef with hints of elvish charm. Every dish served was a masterpiece, transcending our taste buds to a realm of pure gastronomic delight. The flavors and presentation were nothing short of extraordinary, rivaling even the most renowned international 5-star establishments. Lilayi Lodge was such a surprise. Beautiful one bedroom round houses set in a rural/natural environment with all the luxury of a 5 star hotel. The facilities and restaurant were first class. The staff were efficient and welcoming. We had 3 days and nights at Lilayi Lodge at the end of our busy safari holiday and felt truly relaxed and read for our trip home.

Review as a diner not a resident. Went with family for an excellent Sunday lunch, which also seemed very good value as well as top quality. As a diner you can stay for the day, and theres a pool suitable for kids along with a small play area, and a number of walking trails colour coded across the property.
