Great location. Our host Jenny made sure we had everything we needed and gave good recommendations for dinner and breakfast. We arrived quite late on a stat holiday and she even took the time to call around to see which place was open. They have a guest laundry area with washer and dryer, as well as a few clothes lines to hang your things. There is a lovely kitty that greets you when you return from your day’s travel. We used this as a base for trips to Cape Reinga and Gumdiggers Forest. Highly recommend both experiences. Stopped at a small roadside store and had local Hokey Pokey ice cream. Delish!

First visit post covid but i am a regular at the Loredo. Check in was easy and fast. Wifi is solid and fast. Kitchen has everything you need. Grocery store and Mcdonalds are about a 15 min walk. Beds are comfy and the nights quiet.

Security & parking were good. 1 entry & exit point so you had to pass the reception. Our beds were super comfy & our room was clean, The rooms are outdated. Still the same from when I stayed there 16yrs ago but hey I knew I wasn’t booking into The Ritz. Staff were excellent & checked a matter without hesitation straight away which wasn’t major anyway. The only thing was the Spa pool was empty & unfortunately the website never mentioned it wasn’t in operation. Overall if you’re looking for an affordable family room then this can definitely tick those boxes.

Fabulous place to stay, awesome friendly host nothings to much trouble. Would definitely recommend this place to stay if you’re in Kaitaia. Great value for money. Very clean and tidy rooms, good size rooms.

After 6 long hours of travel, we were so grateful to be allowed an early check-in💯🙌
The pool was clean, private & secure, a welcomed extra we enjoyed.
Our room (4 1child) was spacious clean.
The price I paid was a bargain.

Jenny was great host. Gave me a good introduction to the motel and its facilities. She kept me updated on the local shops and also the weather.
The room was spacious and practical in its layout. All the cooking utensiles were there
