Cold and very unappetising food served across all three meal times. When “hot” food is replaced on the buffet it is still cold and tough. I have attached a photo of the buffet at lunch today which won’t provide any indication of warmth but perhaps the basic nature and certainly not luxury offering. There is no at seat drinks service with dinner which is pretty awful again. When we did go and get a drink from the lobby bar the barman wasn’t able to create any cocktails from the menu as he didn’t understand it. As for the beach, it is very run down and in no way luxury. It is not tended to and incredibly dangerous to enter the water. even upstairs on the concrete seating area you can see no one has come through to clean it up and make it presentable in the morning, beds are strewn out all over the place. As for the pool it’s a classic case of not enough beds, the view is obstructed by a bright coloured kids play area. Other aspects that make the trip tricky to stomach with the price was the lack of a proper mirror in the bedroom, you have to use a small bathroom mirror to get ready. Having landed after a long flight, I was mid shower and realised the shower gel was empty and needed refilling and there was only one bath towel so my partner had to share mine. I would not recommend this.

While the resort is tidy and neat, the beach is rocky and not swimmable. Pool was clean. Cleaning lady only came once during our 4day stay. Hair found on buffet food items twice on different occasions. Had to call for clean towels and toiletries. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH OR GREEK!! Don’t even know what language staff spoke. Oh. The resort is a 35$ ride from port so rent a car!!

The hotel is modern and clean and situated on the beach with a nice pool area and sun deck between the pool and the beach. Its 5-10 minutes drive to Mastichari town which as some good bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms have been refurbished, maybe just some slight finishing touches needed but are very comfortable especially the beds. The food is good with lots of choice and the view from the restaurant across the bay is beautiful. It is not a large hotel and consequently it felt like we were getting more of a personal service. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and went out of their way to help. Esther in the bar made the best brandy sours I have had for a long time. Shannon and Forest the excellent entertainment team were very friendly and welcomed guests to join in with the fun activities available, poolside or during the evening. We particularly enjoyed the quizzes, which I suspect they did one just for us and live music nights. All lovely people. Bill and Elaine

I have visited this hotel a number of times in recent years. I have literally seen it at its best and its worst, and I do think that it's a shame that the previous reviews over the years have been removed for some reason - I think the history is relevant in many aspects. So, let me be clear - I have loved this hotel. It is set in a peaceful rural area with very little around it. It is small and compact. Nearby Mastichari has everything you would need or want and nothing you don't. For me, the two things that have distinguished this hotel over the years have been the location and the generally fantastic management and staff. Over the winter 23/24 the hotel underwent a very much needed renovation - last year the hotel was appalling and had been left to go to wrack and ruin, so what has been done was required to raise it from a state of being unfit for business. It is still in a great location. The staff are still excellent and can't do enough to make your stay a good one. But I won't be back... Branding the refurbished hotel as a "luxury resort" is ambitious. And rather misleading. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, but luxurious - no. And desperately in need of somewhere that isn't either the bed or the floor to place your luggage - in these days even luxury hotels can have little guests who delight in hitchhiking back home with you. I had an accessible room, it was generally ok although it could have been thought out better - the slight step onto the balcony would be problemmatic for some people with disabilities; the bathroom seat was not adjustable (I am quite tall and struggled to reach my feet / touch the ground - it would be difficult for someone shorter or a child); and there is an emergency pull cord on the wall directly behind your back when trying to wash which is perilously close to being pulled accidentally. The view from the dining room has always been spectacular, and one of the best features of the hotel. The food was generally good. However, in a luxury resort I would expect that hot food might actually be hot - at best it is lukewarm even immediately after coming from the kitchens - and sometimes actually cold. The salads are great. Room cleaning could be improved. On a good day it is ok, but sometimes it is very late in the day (on one occasion as late as 5pm) or very cursory (a couple of times it was obvious that the bathroom floor hadn't even been cleaned). But what, to my mind, makes this "not luxury" is a rather small, single pool (you can't include the paddling pool), no spa - basically none of the extras that luxury hotels have in multiples. What I love about it - small, cosy, quiet - is what makes it not really luxury. There simply isn't the space to provide the level of services and facilities that abound in luxury hotels. But... they have attached a luxury price tag to what is basically a make-over, and that is why I won't be back. The price of my holiday has doubled (I didn't pay this years price as I p

We really lived our stay at Ammos. We were so warmly welcomed by the team on the front desk and this set the tone for our stay…everyone here is so kind and welcoming. Our room was beautiful… newly refurbished in a calm, muted style… facing over the pool and the sea, sitting on the balcony was a real pleasure. Housekeeping were also superb. We were all inclusive and the quality was superb. We had cocktails by the pool and the food on the buffet was excellent. Huge choice of hot and cold and a huge at breakfast also. But it was the small details and the kindness from the team that set this place apart. We had after dinner drinks and bar tender was so pleased that I’m a fan of Ouzo that she kept creating ever more wonderful cocktails for me! We will definitely stay again thanks to you all.

Don't get me wrong this was a lovely hotel & the staff were friendly but it wasn't 4 star & it definitely wasn't what I would call all inclusive. 1. Snacks (leftovers from breakfast) available from 11.00. Once they were gone that was it. 2. We arrived at 14.30 (lunch in restaurant finished) told to get snacks from Pool Bar. They'd gone. 3. 22 parasols for entire hotel. 40 degree heat no shade. 4. Not enough sunbeds. If you hadn't put your towel on one by 07.00 - tough. 5. No lifeguards on duty. 6. Only bar was the pool bar. Electric off all morning one day. No drinks available apart from luke warm water from dispenser. 7. Ice creams only available 14.00 - 16.00. 8. Cocktails only available 18.00 - 21.00. 9. Half way through week given pool towels for room as no other towels available. 10. Persistent stench of drains/sewage around pool & hotel corridors/reception 11. Insufficient desserts available. If you weren't there when tray brought out that was it. All week I missed out. My desserts were fresh watermelon & peaches.

Holiday with Jet 2, Ok, first the good, pool is ok but half of the parasols are broken and offer no shade, now the bad points, location not near anything and not15 mins walk to local town as advertised, as you have to spend €20 in a taxi to get too and from, as no courtesy bus runs, you can pay to go to the Kos town coach , about 35 mins each way morn and eve trips fo approx 4 hours before your pick up to come back €20 per couple, both local town and kos town are nice, hotel room is average, no plugs for basin, and toilet seat broken, Food is atrocious all of it is stone cold or tepid at best?breakfasts in particular, no palatable fruit juice, no rolls, no brown bread, no butter just margerine, cheap nasty bacon ( cold) fried eggs not fresh but out of oven ( cold), lunch and dinner worst food ive ever had to endure, ate out where possible as just uneatable to be honest if you like your food hot, The bar and only bar in the hotel is located outside in pool area day and night closes at 22.30 after that nothing available also if you want to sit in the cool to enjoy a drink inside hotel the rear exit to pool area is locked so u cannot get back in hotel but have to walk all way around side to front entrance to get back in with your drinks about a 200yd round trip as no drinks are available in hotel at all!? The spirits and lager are ok, but the soft drinks and mixers are awful and no sugar free drinks available, i am diabetic so was a big issue for me, the only soft drink sugar free was the cola from their hand held multi drink despiser gun, which is undrinkable like the 17p per 2 ltr bottles you can buy in xheap supermarkets in UK Horrid!,

We understand that this hotel is undergoing renovation work. It is necessary in most areas. In particular rooms and bathrooms need a lot of work. There needs to be more than one bar other than the pool bar. Food needs improvement in all areas. Also the beach area needs a major tidy up. There is potential here but it needs good, effective management and increased numbers of cleaning staff.
