KoSea Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"Nice"
Phaethon Hotel ★★
"Everything was good."
Seaside Marmari ★★★★
"Firstly, the hotel, lovely hotel in a utopian location, right on the sea shore. Rooms are spotless and have soft comfortable beds; though more cloth hangers would be appreciated. Staff are lovely and always with a smile, especially DJ Vaggelis with his Italian music repertoire!!! I would definitely recommend a trip into the town, whilst other areas to visit are easily accessible by bus, which are very reasonably priced and punctual. Our reservation included breakfast only, as we like to visit different outlets to try the local cuisine - nonetheless, for lunch we tried the hotel's snacks and were delightfully tasty. We were sad to leave such a charming place and hope to return in the future."
Sails on Kos Ecolux Tented Village ★★★★
"Very good, we have been here several times and we have loved it every time. Attentive and friendly staff, great food and very comfortable stay."
Kosta Palace ★★★★
"Right in front of the ferries, food and beverage markets start from 300 and 100 meters to the right and left. A spotlessly clean hotel. There is also a room where you can leave your luggage for early check-in and late check-out."
Kris Mari ★★★
"We stayed here for 2 weeks and found the Room very comfortable, clean with plenty of Room, it had been refurbished to a good standard apart from the bathroom which had old fashioned Shower Curtain but still functional. The Staff throughout were especially polite and we met an old friend working on the front desk namely Minas Vissaritis who we befriended some 18 years ago."
Apollon Windmill Boutique Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★
"Amazing stay at Apollon Windmill. Perfect for a relaxing couples holiday, sun loungers always available (no morning rush), rooms and bathrooms are modern and cleaned daily, breakfast is fine, no issues, staff are all very friendly, perfect location, restaurants nearby are great (Istros Greek Restaurant was amazing), Kos town is within walking distance but renting a bike was the best travel option. Alibaba beach bar was also great, free loungers all day! Overall a perfect holiday at Apollon Windmill."
Alexandra Hotel&Apartments ★★★★
"The hotel is generally ok, but we only stayed for one night because the ferry departed early in the morning. We ended up listening to songs in the tavern outside our windows until 12:20 a.m. Even with the windows closed, we could hear everything, making it very difficult for the kids to fall asleep. But the location is great!!!"
Zephyros Hotel ★★★
"An aging hotel. The same goes for the room furnishings. The beds were often nailed down in various places. The mattresses had holes as big as fists. The bed slats kept slamming down. The bathroom door was so swollen from the shower that it wouldn't open properly. The hairdryer overheated after 2 minutes of use. There was no storage space in the entire bathroom. Glasses in the bathroom were yucky!! The shower curtain was just hanging there. The air conditioning (for a fee) rattled so loudly that it looked like someone was hitting it with a hammer. Curtains in the room were ripped down, and the balcony door was very difficult to open. The sliding doors on the wardrobe were so jammed that they could only be opened with physical strength. Reception was only open in the mornings, and guests took their own room keys. Breakfast was always the same. One type of sausage, one type of cheese, toast, rolls, Kellogs, coffee, tea. No fruit, no juice! The bar was nicely done, quaint and cozy! The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers with umbrellas. The hotel was in a good location. You could walk into town in no time. There are bike rentals all around, and car rentals nearby. The island of Kos is beautiful."

Neptune Luxury Resort
"Staff were very friendly and resort was amazing. Staff organised a birthday cake with candles and a letter for my sister without being made previously aware of the birthday. We asked for dinner recommendations for her birthday and came back to find birthday cake and card. Great selection of food and restaurants with ample sunbeds around the pools and beach for tanning. We had a late flight so staff collected our luggage from rooms and stored safely, allowing us to continue using the resort facilities. Also able to shower and freshen up in the departures lounge before heading to the airport. Overall great experience, would definitely go back."
Palm Beach Hotel - Adults Only
"Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The rooms are extremely dated and cleanliness was disgraceful. Our sink had not been cleaned for several days, and the shower was dirty, stained and leaking. The shower head was also inadequate. There were also several concerning maintenance and safety issues. Tiles in the breakfast area are lifting and creating a trip hazard, while around the pool and steps the flooring has subsided, leaving a hole which is a huge risk particularly in the evening. There were also many damaged pool umbrellas which clearly need repairing. The food was quite repetitive. Some was good, but some appeared not to be freshly prepared. The beach is pleasant but across a very busy road. The lack of available taxis in the area was also frustrating. On the positive side, we had a pleasant side sea view and the two ladies clearing the tables were friendly and polite. However, we often felt uncomfortable during meals as though we were being watched."
Sagredo Boutique Hotel & Spa
"we had some very nice cocktails and some pancakes, atmosphere is beautiful music lounge and relaxing, definitely recommended!"
Cleopatra Classic Hotel
"I recently stayed at the Cleopatra Classic for 8 nights with my 1-year-old daughter and 15-year-old daughter, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing overall. While the island itself is absolutely beautiful, I would not return to this hotel, especially with younger children. We arrived at approximately 1:30am after travelling all day and were completely exhausted. I was aware there was a €35 room tax to pay, however I had not been informed this needed to be paid in cash as the holiday had been booked for us by family members. I explained that I had no cash on me and politely asked if I could withdraw the money first thing in the morning after breakfast due to the late hour and having two tired children with me. Reception refused and stated I had to pay at least something in cash before we could even enter our room. Thankfully, my parents were staying at another hotel around a 10-minute walk away and came to rescue the situation by bringing cash for us. Considering we were staying for 8 nights, I found the lack of understanding and compassion very disappointing. We were also repeatedly told throughout the stay that the card machines were “down”, meaning we were unable to purchase drinks because, as mentioned, we had no cash available at the time. Later in the week, we discovered the issue appeared to be staff not knowing how to operate the machines properly. Thankfully, we located a cash machine nearby the following day. Another major issue was cleanliness and comfort. I was bitten badly throughout the stay and my legs were covered in bites. I had to repeatedly request the room to be fumigated and ask for bedding to be changed as the bites continued to worsen. The reception area was also constantly full of flies, which was very unpleasant. There was also a major power cut during our stay. Despite travelling with a baby, we had been placed on the third floor, so during the outage we had to carry the pram and belongings up and down the stairs ourselves. On our final day, our transfer was not until 8:30pm, so I requested to keep the room on longer and agreed to pay the additional €40 charge. Again, they would only accept cash. Due to the island-wide power cut, cash machines across town were not working, yet I was still told payment had to be made by 11am or we would lose the room. I ended up running around the island in extreme heat trying to locate a working ATM while caring for a baby and my older daughter. Thankfully we eventually found one, but I found the lack of flexibility during a power outage completely unreasonable. The food was also very basic. We stayed half board and the menu was virtually the same every day throughout the week. The quality was poor and even the chips were extremely hard. The only real positive from our stay was one of the young ladies working on the bar. She was absolutely lovely, welcoming, and especially kind and attentive towards my baby, and she truly deserves recognition for her customer servic"
Lango Design Hotel & Spa, Adults Only
"Open space hotel with very little privacy if you stay at the pool view room ( mostly are). There are no bath tab in the room. Trip has wrongly advertised"
D' Andrea Lagoon All Suites - Adults Only
"Sept & October 2023. Best hotel we have ever stayed in. Beautiful and luxurious. Swim up room is a must!!!! Pure relaxation! Gorgeous beach & sunbeds. Gorgeous sunset every night. Fresh food - generous portions! Staff - Helpful staff with great customer service. Kos town - Not too far from Marmari & a bus stop with a bus into Kos. Can’t wait to come back!"
Oku Kos
"Booked a standard graden room, turned out to be a catastrophe: fridge in the mini bar humming so loud one could barely sleep, road directly in front of the room with loud vehicles passing and uncomfortable bed) - slept less than 4hours first night. Then were given the option to move to another standard room which did not have a loud road but for whatever reason had same issue with the fridge. After complaining again were upgraded to better room which was nice (bed nevertheless not comfortable). Lost 2 out of 4 nights to terrible rooms. Overall cannot recommend hotel. If you want to stay make sure only to book higher categories - standard room is absolutely not acceptable - a shame for a supposedly 5* hotel. Other negative aspects: breakfast only okish, food and the restaurant very very mediocre at truly elevated prices & outrageous wine pricing (60€ retail wine sold for 370€..) with no decent drinkable cheaper wines On the positive sides: very nice beach, good service at the beach, nice/cool interior design."

Cosmopolitan Hotel
"⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing stay despite nice rooms – don’t be fooled by the photos! I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel people should know what they’re really booking. The rooms at this hotel are genuinely lovely — clean, spacious, and comfortable — but that’s about where the positives end. We booked this place expecting to enjoy all the advertised facilities — the spa, sauna, steam room, and a good selection of food — but towards the end of the season almost everything was shut down without any warning. There was no notice on the website, no small print at the time of booking, and we still paid full price as if everything was open. The buffet food was honestly awful — cold, tasteless, and repetitive. The only decent food came from the pool bar, but of course, that stopped serving food too once the “season ended,” again with no notice. The spa, sauna, and steam room were all closed, which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel in the first place. It’s really unfair to charge guests full price when half the facilities are closed. If we’d known in advance, we would have booked elsewhere. A real shame, because the rooms and setting have potential, but the lack of transparency and poor management completely ruined what could have been a great stay."
Horizon Beach Resort
"We have recently returned from a two week stay in one of the Fenareti apartments. It was clean and basic, the cleaning lady came in regularly to clean & supply fresh towels & bedding, and had everything we needed for our stay ie fridge, kettle, two-ring hob etc. The bathroom was rather cramped but was manageable. Was overlooking the sea so had a great view of the gorgeous sunset each evening. One thing I feel should be pointed out is that with certain rooms you have to use the back staircase which are fairly steep marble stairs without a handrail."
Manolis Studios
"The owners were fantastic and are always on hand for advice on on the area or just a chat and a laugh. They could book you a taxi to different places in the village and advice you on there choice of restaurants The rooms were cleaned and bedding and towels changed regularly It all made for the most relaxing holiday. To all the family a huge thank you."
Grand Blue Beach Hotel
"Just finishing our two week vacation at the grand blue hotel in kardamena can’t fault it in any way it’s been amazing a little quiet first week but has got better now ,staff were all amazing,”Areti in the sea breeze bar was good at running it all on her own communication was excellent and the two girls doing the activity through the day and evening were brilliant ,all entertainment was good we have found a very friendly hotel with all staff willing to chat bar staff and management are absolutely brilliant It was a bit of a hike up the hill but there was always one of the men in the buggy’s ready to take us up and down the hill Hope to be back next year to see all you lovely people again "
Andromeda Hotel Apartments
"Highly recommended! Very clean, well kept and good service. For me it is very important the cleanliness of the place and it has been difficult to find clean hotels, regardless of the number of stars. This one definitely meets my expectations, which are VERY high."
Hermes Hotel
"An absolute gem of a hotel, the staff especially Diana the owner couldn't have been any more welcoming if she tried, rooms cleaned every day and the breakfast was great, thankyou so much for a lovely holiday"
