Though not in the busiest tourist areas, the location of this hotel is at the heart of Kamakura with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel design is very stylish and new. The hotel does not have a carpark or drop off areas, therefore it can get a little inconvenient if you are going by your own car. The staff gave information about the closest overnight parking which is very helpful because parking in Kamakura is very expensive. For the room, it was quite disappointing. Though I already know about the room size and that the facilities is limited (no TV), when I actually entered the room, I find the lighting is insufficient as well. There was only a very dim ceiling light in the room, I had to turn on the mirror light and bring over the table light to the nightstand side to have slightly better lighting. The amenties were to be collected at the lobby so it was okay. However, the room only provides kettle and 2 bottles of water, there was no tea bag or coffee whatsoever. About the bathroom: the towels were placed inside a wire basket which is placed directly on the floor, and that makes me feel very concerned for its hygiene. There is a restaurant/bar and shop on the lobby floor. While I enjoyed the shop very much, I think it would be nice if the staff could introduces us to what the restaurant/bar offers (to supplement for the lack of tea bags / coffee in the room). Generally speaking, it gives me a feeling that the hotel is a budget hotel branded as a boutique hotel. At this price, there are far better choices in Kamakura.

Advantages: The hotel has a strong sense of design, garden-style, very warm, and the room is clean and tidy. The service is also very good. Disadvantages: The hardware facilities emphasize design too much and lack humanistic care. The walls in the room are uneven and the aisles are very narrow. Every time you pass by, you will accidentally scratch your clothes or skin. The wash basin in the bathroom is too delicate and small. Every time you use water, it will splash. In fact, you can change it to a larger wash basin. The stool in the room is very beautiful, but it is uncomfortable to sit on. It may be a problem of the design angle.

The environment is elegant, the rooms are clean, the overall service is pretty good, and the location is convenient, just a few minutes walk from Kamakura Station. We checked in near Christmas, and the Christmas atmosphere in the lobby was very strong!

The room is nice and spacious, with separate wet and dry areas. Very clean and tidy, and the service is good. We booked a package that included dinner, which was good, but the portion might not be enough for men, and I wonder if we can get more rice. We also received Kamakura sake, and the sisters were very happy to drink it.

If it's not a Japanese holiday, I don't recommend it. The service and environment are okay, the breakfast is terrible, the room is dark and there is little storage space, like entering a small country, it's better to spend a little more money to stay in the Metropolitan or Shichirigahama Prince, it's closer to Kamakura Station and Komachi Street, and there is a convenience store 100 meters away

Facilities: The room is quite big in Japan. There is no TV in our room. Hygiene: Very clean, disposable items will be provided at the front desk. Environment: The room is very quiet. Service: Although the English at the front desk is not very good, it does not affect communication. The service is very good It is really convenient to get out of Kamakura Station.
