Ammon Zeus Luxury Beach Hotel

We have never stayed in an hotel that was so close to the beach, and what a gorgeous beach it is. The hotel was beautifully clean and maintained. All the staff were wonderfully polite and cheerful and helpful. The public areas were very attractive. The main dining room was nicely presented and there were a great variety of foods on offer. A minor criticism would be that the hot buffet food was not really maintained at a hot enough temperature. Being quite late in the season, we were not surprised to find that some local bars and restaurants were closed or closed while we were there but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Overall we had a brilliant holiday. Our only other minor criticism is that, for our taste, the bed mattresses were rather too firm, but a Metaxa brandy nightcap helped to mitigate the issue 😂

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 5 nights last October & had the most marvellous holiday! Hotel has lovely private beach, we had a sea view room overlooking the serene turquoise sea , spacious balcony & spacious room! A truly 5 star experience from the staff! We travel every couple of months & in our experience it is the staff that can elevate any holiday to a really great experience & the staff here did not disappoint

the location is incredible ,cleanliness almost obsessive and i have not met the food,the service and its freshness in any other hotel until now.I will definitely come back,but not next year,because i want to really miss going back. Anything you do to often becomes commonplace and i do not want that do happen. Really is a green oasis near by the sea.

We recently returned home from our trip, carrying a heart full of joy and an album full of memories. We were fortunate enough to spend an idyllic 4 days at the hotel, and every moment was filled with warmth, indulgence, and rejuvenation. The stay was truly a remarkable journey that evoked a sense of well-being and tranquility. The hotel, poised in a majestic location, has direct access to its very own pristine sand beach. This exclusive feature added a unique charm to our stay. The beach was impeccably maintained, presenting us with crystal-clear waters that felt like a refreshing oasis. The space was never crowded and there was always an abundance of loungers available, making our beach time relaxing and private. We were thoroughly impressed by the team at the hotel. The level of friendliness and genuine care we received from the staff was unparalleled. Always accommodating, their ever-present smiles created an atmosphere of familiarity and comfort that felt like home. We developed a deep affection for them, and they have certainly won a place in our hearts. The services provided by the hotel were nothing short of top-notch, whether it was on the beach, at the reception, in our room, or at the restaurant. There was not a single moment where we felt the need for anything more, as every need was anticipated and catered to with perfection. Our room was always spotless, offering us a serene space to unwind. The culinary experience at the hotel was simply outstanding. From the breakfast buffet to the dinner buffet, the food was nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. Each meal was a feast that left us both satisfied and eager for the next. The variety and quality of dishes meant that our taste buds were constantly delighted and our cravings were always met. The hotel is also conveniently located within a 5-minute walk to the local town, adding an extra element of exploration and adventure to our stay. The hotel has undoubtedly earned its stars and provided us with a luxurious and memorable experience. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to book here again. Her efficient service, warm hospitality, and genuine interest in our comfort truly enhanced our experience and made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Amazing service from all the staff, especially Konstantinos, who was welcoming, friendly and a fun presence at the hotel. The beach adjoining the hotel has clear calm waters and is never too busy. The food was amazing, fresh and new options every day. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with a gorgeous beach, this is the place for you!

Lovely stay at Ammon Zeus, as a couple. The staff were all hospitable and always ensured we were okay as guests. We were given earlier check-in from our drop-off and given water. The room had a balcony view which I highly recommend as you get woken up by the sun if you leave your curtains open and fill the room with light, there's also black-out curtains if you wish to sleep in. The room had all the needed facilities: Hotel information, Fast Wi-Fi, a Nescafe coffee pod machine, aircon, TV, fridge, hair dryer, hangers, a safe and everything listed on the site details. The balcony had a great view with 2 seats, a table and an ashtray if you smoke but overall a great place to wake up and have breakfast if you order room service. Breakfast and dinner had a variety of food options suitable for everyone whether you are veggie, vegan or pescatarian. They had cold foods, desserts, mains, breads, and a chef who cooked fresh pancakes and eggs upon request and if they were cooked already. There were drinks with 2 brewing machines provided for coffee and hot water with a tea selection for tea lovers. Dinner was the same experience, plates full of vary of dishes, something for everyone. Overall lovely experience with the hotel staff ready at service setting up and taking plates and are friendly and approachable. The hotel staff in general were all great, always asked how the holiday was going, and offered services like the beach towel service: you get given a card to trade in for a beach towel at the front desk and costs €25 if you lose the towel. The staff were informative about what things to do in the area. Maria helped organise our excursions which is one of many that the hotel offers, we were provided with lunch and pick up. Maria, Orestis, Alexandros, Raphael and Katarina made the stay special with all their friendly faces, services and personalities which added to the experience of the stay, so thank you, guys! But overall, the staff interaction was great. The gym was small and limited equipment but if you're looking to do some functional fitness like running, cycling, kettlebell workouts, dumbbell workouts and cable workouts this is good. The beach area was lovely, it's a 5-minute walk from your room to the sand. There was always someone from staff who looked after the beachfront from litter and sea**** so it was always clean. The beach beds were free to use with an umbrella above, but there are specific beds that were nicer which you have the option to pay to use but depends on preference. The water was clear and shallow, great for a float or a dip in the sea. One of the days the spa team came to offer a 2-minute massage which was nice prior to that a massage was booked. The spa was great, nice and relaxing and was offered 35% off on the day for the deep tissue massage which lasted 60 minutes. This was our first visit to Greece, and to this hotel. Generally the hotel was very nice. However, there are two or three issues we need to point out which will explain why we have rated it 4 out of 5. Firstly, the beds were not that comfortable. I found them to be a bit firm. The food, whilst there was a good choice at every sitting was l uke warm on most occasions. I know of other travellers we met, who had mentioned this to the restaurant staff, but things didn’t change while we were there. The third point, was the cleanliness of the toilets in the public areas, but mainly the reception area near the lifts. They were far from clean. It is our opinion, that because of the aforementioned issues, we do not believe this is a 5 star hotel, but probably 4 star. The upside, was the staff, especially Stefanos, Despina and Katerina, all in the restaurant. We have singled these three out as being exceptional. All of the other staff were great too, from the reception, the cleaners, and other restaurant staff. Please take this as constructive feedback.

The hotel is situated on the beach, sun loungers are free and they also provide beach towels everyday which is a real bonus. There are lockers although the beach is safe enough and also waiters to bring food and drinks when you press the call button. The food and drinks are slightly more expensive than the town but not overly priced for a hotel. The hotel bedroom floors could do with a good hoover and steam mop as although they sweep them and mop them everyday, they still feel slightly dirty. The rooms was clean, water provided on the first couple of days which was a bonus. The food in the restaurant was generally always good, there were a couple of nights when we struggled a little with the selection available but there was always pasta and they did say they could cook you something if you asked. Our waiter Paisos was friendly and helpful and Katerina the lady who greeted us on arrival was so helpful when it was my daughters birthday and she organised a cake for her when I asked. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone although beware as there is a steep hill to climb to get to the town although we did prefer Afytos which was a €10 euro taxi ride.
