The Kailash hotel is perfect. Really great location in the heart of Kathmandu but on a quiet street. The restaurant has a great variety of options and it has a lovely courtyard to chill out and enjoy a coffee or drink. The staff are exceptional and the hotel is very clean & modern. The bedrooms are very modern, clean and it has an option of an adjoining bedroom for a family. This hotel is such a lovely place to explore Kathmandu or to prepare for a trek. Naba from ‘Third Rock Adventures’ arranged our trek and he did an amazing job. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. Sarah, Alex & Charlotte.

Very nice New hotel, very clean, shower is great with a lot of pressure, very comfortable beds, ideal location in Thamel area, quiet street, super nice staff doing all their best to serve you, very good breakfast buffet, amazing ratio price/quality! We also booked our trekking tour with Dol (the hotel manager) through Third Rock Adventures and I highly recommend them. They have a 99% satisfaction rate on Trip Advisor with 629 reviews to this date.

Hello to all trekkers and climbers. I think this hotel is one of the best hotel in thamel area. Newly built, in a very clean neighborhood, quiet and away from thamel night noises, 5 minutes away from climbing shopping centers (Rab, Marmot, Mountain hard wear, The north face & …), polite employees and well-mannered management.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel very much. Super location at the Thamel. Especially want to mark hotels manager - Dol. This is the man! He is really helpful and gave us useful tips. Where to buy, where to go, where to stay on track. Staff were nice and friendly as well. Booked a taxi for us, washed clothes. Recommend!

If you are in Kathmandu, do visit this restaurant in the hotel. Excellent food and services from the staffs. You can spend the whole night gathering with friends on the upper floor which have a great ambience!!!! Definitely 5 stars!! Thanks to Jaya, our mountain guide who recommended and brought us to this great place during our ABC trip!!

After staying in many hotels in Nepal at this price range, Kailash Boutique is by far the nicest hotel by far. Clean modern facilities, quiet smoke free rooms and attentive staff. A new benchmark for other hotels to aim for. Centrally located in Thamel Highly recommended

Clean, central, friendly and helpful staff, excellent manager, great facilities. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was huge and water was hot. Great cappuccino/ coffee. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The attached restaurant served great food and the wait staff were attentive and friendly.

Our stay at The Kailash Boutique Hotel has been nothing less than an exceptional human experience. It is a new hotel with all required amenities. Rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable. Despite being situated in the busy thamel region, the hotel is away from the noisy streets. All the staff are warm and helpful. Breakfast has a reasonable variety and is tasty. Mr Dol, the Manager is always around the corner trying to provide the support required to arrange for local sim cards, taxi bookings and sightseeing/hikes/treks.
