The Ross

It was so clean and the staff were very nice,helpful and very friendly……lovely place to spend with the girls and very central and close to the train station we will deffo be back…we had dinner and cocktails in the hotel and it was lovely….it was very quiet and relaxing atmosphere…the breakfast was beautiful and again the staff were very polite and helpful …nice toiletries in the bathroom for guest was a lovely touch… I will definitely come back

The staff was friendly and supportive. Everything we asked for was provided promptly. Our room had a great view and we could hear the Irish music from a local pub (this was a good thing - if you didn't want to hear it, you could close your window). Just steps away from great pubs and shopping. No need for a cab. The train and bus station also very close. Would happily go back! :)

Travelled with a fiend for two fantastic nights at the Ross. The room was great with everything we could have expected and it was nice to see more than just passing lip-service to environmental conservation in the room and around the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we could want. The staff was universally friendly and helpful. Though we did not have breakfast at the hotel, we dis have drinks at the bar and the cafe, both of which were fantastic. Would undoubtedly stay here again.

The Ross is a real gem in the busy tourist town of Killarney where you are not short of places to stay; we have stayed there many times over the years and the staff have always gone the extra mile for us for the various events/reasons we have had for staying there. The double rooms feel more like a suite and everything in the room is of premium quality. We recommend the Lane bar for great and food and some exciting cocktails too! Highly recommended!

We stayed at The Ross over our wedding anniversary weekend and we really enjoyed it. The hotel has a very cool modern look, lovely bright colours and fresh modern furniture. When we checked-in we were advised we had been upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise and when we arrived in our suite, there was a lovely slate with a collection of lovely little cakes and biscuits and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Thank you for that, it was very much appreciated. The suite like the rest of the hotel was bright and modern, a lovely big bed on one side of the room with a TV facing the bed and on the other side of the room comfy arm chairs and a coffee table and another TV, there was also a coffee maker and a fridge. The bedroom area was really bight with lots of windows that could be opened easily. Then down a couple of steps was the wardrobe area with loads of hanging space and the bathroom. A nice size modern bathroom with a full bath and separate shower cubicle, with complementary toiletries. Outside they have an nice seating area, which was very busy and a had great atmosphere. You can have a drink, a cocktail or enjoy the food from the hotel outside, and the food looked delicious but we did not dine there. We had a couple of drinks inside in the hotel bar that night and the staff were very attentive. The breakfast was fab, we had the full Irish which was delicious and we were offered lots of different pastries and cakes, juices, tea, coffee, etc.. perfect breakfast. The service was great and the staff in all areas of the hotel were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Parking was just down the road at the sister hotel and that was easy, I was able to drop-off outside with the bags and my husband carried on to park the car, just a couple of mins walk away. A great experience and a great hotel, we would highly recommend this hotels and can't wait to stay here the next time we return to Killarney.

Great location in the heart of Killarney. Rooms were plush and beds very comfortable. We had a suite and sitting area was large and a nice gathering spot at end of day. Jaunting carts out the front door for an easy ride to Ross Castle. Ate at The Lane one night and food was well prepared with fast service. Nice to have a quality restaurant at hotel as option.

The Ross is a wonderful hotel. Location is perfect, easy access to many shops, food, pubs. Staff were helpful, but more, very friendly. The Polly was a great "last stop" for the night. Food and service were very good. The hotel, our room, hall layout was very good. Decor, custom wall paper, and color selection were so beautiful. Will tell our friends about this "must stay" place in Killarney.

We’ve stayed in The Ross nearly every time we’ve come to Killarney but have to say this was the best! The new layout of the front bar and reception has really brought the place up a level! There was a lovely atmosphere and it felt so welcoming. We had lunch in the Lane on arrival and it was excellent. We have four boys and they can be hard to please but it was clean plates all around by the end. The staff were superb, could not be more helpful and the place is spotless. We had multiple swims in the Killarney Park across the road and our boys just love that pool. Temperature was perfect. Hotel location is right in the heart of the town and seconds from everywhere. The whole stay was 10/10 and really can’t wait to go back again. If you’re thinking about coming to stay here then stop thinking and just do it!
