We stayed for 5 days in September. The weather was lovely and sunny, with occasional rain at night. The tides were quite noticeable: low in the morning, high in the evening. The beach itself was partially rocky, but past the pier, it was sandy. We had booked a family room with two beds, so we were very grateful when they upgraded us to two separate, adjoining rooms in one bungalow.
Our room was well-equipped with a new air conditioner, bathrobes, umbrellas, a beach bag, coffee-making facilities, bottled water, and toiletries (even a hair tie!). A hairdryer was also provided, and the bed featured a lovely canopy.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would consider returning. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always happy to help with anything we needed, such as arranging a tuk-tuk to another hotel for 200 baht. Breakfasts were satisfactory.
However, we were quite disappointed with the dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food quality was poor; dishes were often undercooked or had small portions. The menu photos didn't accurately represent the food, and the dish descriptions were incorrectly translated. Subsequently, we opted to dine at a nearby family-run beach eatery, which served delicious and affordable meals.

Pretty good overall. The hotel boasts a stunning beach and even offers a unique 'Da Tie Hua' performance (a traditional molten iron firework display) on-site. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate, and you can conveniently order dinner directly at the hotel.

The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, and it's very close to the beach. The hotel itself is quite luxurious. The rooms here are absolutely top-notch, and it's wonderfully quiet.

Amazing hotel. Direct beach access and plenty of accommodate choices to cater to all kinds of groups. Breakfast is great as well.

Beautiful well-groomed area, beautiful beach, live music and fire show in the evening in the restaurant. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. There are a lot of fish near the shore. Although the rooms are not new, they are spacious and have plenty of storage space. The daughter is delighted with the canopy on the bed. I think we'll come back here again.

Overall, we were generally pleased with the hotel. There was no complimentary water provided upon check-in. We had to specifically ask for water for our room and were initially told to purchase it from the bar, although they eventually brought it to us free of charge. The hotel is located in a quiet area.
However, the most disappointing aspect occurred on our check-out day: after arriving in Pattaya, we discovered that our money and wallets were missing from our bag. It's still unclear how they disappeared. The hotel staff informed us they hadn't found them. We suspect someone stole them while we were on the island. Just be very cautious if you stay here.

Very poor service.
Really overpriced. Five stars hotels pricing, two stars service.
Two nights spent in a 200USD room, poor quality mattress, bed sheets and pillows.
The air conditioner is so noisy that you will hardly sleep.
Very basic breakfast. Finishes at 10, at 9 already most of dishes over.
The worst, two small bottles of purified water per room (no convenience store around, need to go to another beach). When we asked for more water, the staff wanted to charge us 10 RMB per bottle. A really joke.
The hotel is too much in business, expanded a lot but hasn’t hired employees to clean.
Very disappointing, Koh Samet has really become overpriced.
The beach is good.
