Hotels in Ao Cho, Koh Samet

Newly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

Beautiful well-groomed area, beautiful beach, live music and fire show in the evening in the restaurant. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. There are a lot of fish near the shore. Although the rooms are not new, they are spacious and have plenty of storage space. The daughter is delighted with the canopy on the bed. I think we'll come back here again.

We returned here a year later because this particular beach is very ”sunk into the soul”. And what is worth noting: The modernization of the room stock was carried out, the house with a sea view turned out to be excellent in terms of amenities and with stunning sea views! New clean renovation, soft bed. They added a beach bag, a branded hat, and a bar in the refrigerator, like in five-star hotels. Well done! Commendable! The hotel's restaurant has delicious food. We were satisfied on all counts and are already planning a new visit 😉🎣 We returned here a year later because this particular beach is very ”sunk into the soul”. The location is excellent — right by a beautiful and peaceful beach with soft, clean white sand. It’s perfect for a relaxing walk. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and helpful. The room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, but the hotel provided mosquito repellent mats in the room, which was a thoughtful touch. As for breakfast, the day I stayed there were quite a lot of guests, so the food ran out quickly and was not replenished in time. If the breakfast service could be improved during peak times, the overall experience would be even better.

Wonderful, soulful, homely hotel. Like at the dacha. We lived in an economy inexpensive room. Clean, everything was thought out. Hair dryer, beach bag, umbrella. White bed linen. Air conditioning is away from the bed, comfortable to sleep, set so that it does not blow too much. Thanks to the staff for their friendliness! Wongduen beach is good in the morning, after lunch the sea is muddy, we went to Ao chor beach, not far to walk. From 10 along the beach we carried fruits, chicken, grilled fish. There is a cafe on the shore. We left back on a speedboat, the pier on the beach is 300 baht. One small minus, closer to the night near our house a toad screamed loudly 😂.

The hotel is located a bit far from the business service area, but the beach area near the hotel feels a bit serene because there are not many people staying and it is away from the business area. The facilities in the hotel are average. There is only one stool in the room. You can only sit on the bed when you turn the room. There is no space between the washroom and the shower room. There is only a towel rack inside and no place to hang a change of clothes.

Great little villa right on the beach. Listen to the waves all night. Walking distance to minimart and some restaurants. Do need a bike to get around the island. Only bad thing would be the walls are a little thin so can hear some noise from villa next to you , like when they close the toilet door etc.  had a great 2 night stay

The family room is average in my opinion. The wooden house is old and noisy at night. The shower in the toilet is very small, but there is breakfast. It is a few steps away from the beach. The hotel is not located at the pier. After staying here for a few days, we moved to the pier. I didn't book the new hotel with Ctrip app, so I asked directly. It is cheaper, more affordable and cleaner. The hotel we booked later is very close to the pier and the largest beach. It is very convenient. I still live here now and play for two more days! The second picture is the hotel we booked later. The hygiene is very good. You can compare it. The family room of the new hotel is also very cheap and very nice. We will move in tomorrow. We mainly go to the beach to lie down. We don't have high requirements for hotels. We don't think it's necessary to pay one or two thousand yuan a night for a room on the island, hehe

Overall, a great hotel with a fantastic beach, delicious food at the restaurant, and clean bedding. Of course, it's a bit far from the center where you'd find convenience stores like 7-Eleven, which means prices at nearby shops are quite steep. However, you can always bring some essentials with you.

Was a reasonable stay for one night and the breakfast decent range of choice. Room was clean but the only thing which made me concerned was when it came to booking the grand deluxe room It stated sea view room you can only see a little bit just a heads up for anybody staying here. Would stay here again in the future.
