Koh Samui Mae Nam Hotels

This is a lovely resort set in sprawling and lush gardens.There are x three pools to use as well as the amazing beach and views.Accomodation is varied We had a separate villa in the grounds bear to the breakfast restaurant It was spacious and airey with excellent daily cleaning 😀 The breakfast was great. Lots of choices.The staff team was delightful and worked tirelessly to ensure a great service . Smiling Nam often on the door, taking your room number. Lovely and an asset.Also, to Pan who readily engede in conversation. ALL THE STAFF at breakfast were FANTASTIC 👌 Thank you for a lovely 15 niggts stay. We woul recommend 1

This hotel is great if you want a quieter area of Samui but right by the beach (the longest on the island). Staff are polite, friendly and helpful, breakfast is ample and the pool(s) area with bar/restaurant is simply wonderful. I left some items behind by mistake and contacted the hotel and of course I had to pay but they were very efficient in organising their return to me in China. Hope to see you again! Strengths: 1. Spacious rooms, interesting furniture, privacy. 2. Design of common areas: greenery, fountains, infinity pool, quality sun loungers, private beach club, beautiful restaurant. 3. Overall good service, but not super friendly. 4. Conveniently, all purchases on the hotel premises can be charged to the room account and paid upon check-out. Weak sides: 1. The room was not ready for check-in at 14:00: they did not have time to clean the room while they were fixing the problem with the bathroom. As an apology, a coupon for a soft drink for 60 baht. Not enough. 2. Mediocre food in the restaurant: there is a small selection for breakfast, the usual set of products, similar to 3* hotels. Lunch and dinner are long waits, relatively high prices, but the quality is about the same as in nearby restaurants, the service is long even in the absence of other customers. 3. Remote location from shops and restaurants - you have to walk a lot, it’s unsafe to leave the hotel in the evening, there are a lot of dogs and there is no proper lighting on the streets (this is not a problem for the hotel). 4. On the second day of our stay, one of the air conditioners broke down. They fixed it in an hour, but it was unpleasant. 5. An amazing situation with slippers to wear in the room - usually they are disposable for each guest, here they demanded to return them because they wash them. Unhygienic and weird.

Great hotel with great and attentive service as well as very clean facilities. We've been welcomed very warmly by all the staff at the reception. Our room had a great and straight view on the sea, located just above the pool. The hotel itself is build on a hill and it's not easy to walk up to the rooms, however, the staff is always ready and offering shuttle service which is great.  Our room was very clean, the bathroom offered enough space. The only thing I wish could have been provided were some more toiletries (such as tooth brush, comb and a shaver). Breakfast selection on the buffet was quite limited but sufficient for a 3-4 days stay. Besides that there was an a la carte Egg Dish menu, which was very nice. Recommend the Egg Benedict, these were poached daily perfectly.  The location of the hotel slightly remote but quiet on the other hand. Plus, there's a van shuttle service twice a day and hotel itself provides drop offs down to the main road whenever needed. Bike rental is just bedside the hotel, which made it even more convenient.  Overall a great time at the Mantra Hotel, can only recommend. 

The decoration and environment of the hotel are very beautiful. The staff are very gentle, warm and polite, and the service is very good. The hotel covers a large area, the room is very large, and it is very comfortable to live in. We brought a filtered shower head, and after using it, I felt that the water quality was better than Bangkok. The hotel is by the sea, very quiet and comfortable, with a private sea area, beautiful sea view, and clean sea water. I personally feel that the restaurant's seafood is delicious. I ate this for two consecutive nights. The restaurant is next to the hotel's private sea area. You can enjoy the invincible sea view while eating. Friends who like comfort are really suitable here. It is economical and enjoyable. Because it is close to the sea and not on the street, it is not particularly convenient to travel, but the hotel can help call a taxi, just contact the front desk directly. The small bar on the right side of the hotel beach is also very good, suitable for punching in. However, the hotel facilities may be a little old, but it does not affect the overall comfortable experience. There is a reservation point for island tours in the hotel lobby, which is convenient for registration. Mr.tu's island tour experience is also very good. In short, Samui Buri Beach Resort Hotel is highly recommended

We traveled with two children, 14 and 11 years old. We stayed for one night on November 27. I will immediately make a reservation about the weather - November is not the time to visit Samui and especially Phangan, if you are planning a beach holiday, because at this time it is cloudy and there are big waves, we were on different beaches there and there. The hotel itself made a very good impression! Service, territory, cleanliness, everything is great! We had dinner at the hotel, this is the first time during our two-week tour of different hotels, and it was the right decision, delicious! Breakfast is also very good! Not a huge variety, but more than enough for breakfast. They helped us organize a transfer to Phangan, thank you very much! One wish about the pillows, very hard, at least one of the two softer)))) we will be happy to come back and not for one night! Thank you.

Amazing place with the wonderful staff (kind,helpful,friendly and always smile on the face).Welcoming delicious coconut ice cream include!I booked the room with the ocean view - amazing view,comfortable,luxury one.Hotel is super clean.The breakfast was always fresh including the fresh tropical fruits,drinks etc.Also the hotel has the restaurant - prepared always the fresh local and non local food.Rhe hotel has also clean and nice swimming pool,privete beach witch is just down the stairs.The hotel also offers free towels for the beach,no need to bring your own.The Fisherman village is also not far away.Around this place you can take the taxi or ask the hotel staff and visit places around like Big Buddha etc. I fully recommended!!!

Overall is this hotel a quite good point to escape. We had a fantastic garden villa with an huge bathroom. Everyone was really kind and friendly. The only thing what they can work on it we would say it should be first of all the service for drinks and food. Normally you should have a eye for your guests probably if you have a happy hour to going around at the pool desk and the location, to offer the promotion. Second they have to make better drinks maybe a cocktail staff training should help. And last but at least they have definitely to work on the service in the waiting time in the restaurant we had to wait more than 1 1/2 hour for Thai food what’s probably is ready in 10 minutes. Don’t get us wrong it’s gonna be a beautiful hotel and you will have a beautiful stay at Koh Samui. It just missing few details to make it perfect.

The morning atmosphere is very good. The food is good and fast. The staff gives good advice but most of them speak English more than Thai. Overall, it is very good. The room is clean, the bed is soft, and the TV can watch everything better than many hotels.

Check out of the hotel before 7am. Check in for the ship at the next port. Then have breakfast. Very convenient. I can't always go into the pool because of my flight to Samui, but it's a hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. I'll be back soon. Unfortunately, it was difficult to lock the room this time. The spare keyhole was only a few millimeters wide, so I couldn't use it. I'd be happy if you could fix that. Everything was great except for the key.
