This review may be for a unique experience. Were riding around in a small boat with a guide when she suggested we walk on Vrnik. We wanted a beer and stopped by this restaurant. Closed, but guide knew owner/chef who said she fix us a simple meal. Wonderful olives, veggies, bread, cheese, etc. Just a plate of whatever, but super. And friendly. And good beer.

We visited on the recommendation of our skipper on a boat charter - and we found the setting charming and the food excellent. We shared a large grilled Red Snapper between 4 and it was one of the tastiest and most perfectly cooked fish we've ever eaten. The blitva and fish ceviche were also excellent. Yes it's not cheap, but the location is beautiful, and the service and food are excellent.

The location is gorgeous but that’s where it ends. Food is awful. We were shown a plate of “the catch of the day” which was clearly not fresh and we wouldn’t touch it. The menu is very limited and we were told it had been a long day so not everything available. We had called ahead as we had three people in our party who are vegetarians they’d said that’s fine but when we were there they just shrugged and said we do meat and fish. It’s 2023! So to have that attitude is ridiculous. The toilets were absolutely filthy too which tells you a lot about the place. Would seriously avoid

Absolutely wonderful restaurant in a very quaint, romantic setting looking out over the crystal clear see. Food was delicious and perfectly plated - the crockery was exquisite. Highly recommend the burrata and black risotto. Sad not to have discovered sooner as would have made a return visit.

We found the food overrated here. Diners are paying for the scenery. As an evening menu it may be fine but we wanted a light lunch for £15 or less. The only option was fish soup. This tasted like the water they cook other fish in. We requested bread and fries and they cost a further £10. The toilets were unclean and almost put me off eating too.

Spectacular and unique setting. Standard Croatian menu, but food was all very fresh and well-prepared. Staff was friendly and service OK. Like much of Korcula - but to a greater degree- quite overpriced. $60 per person without any alcohol or dessert. Some of this due to their being out of lobster and substituting prawns… but at the same 1100kn/kg lobster price. Paying for a lot of shell. If you go for dinner, reserve taxi boat ahead of time, also not cheap. I am probably just the wrong customer here - best advice is go for a few hours- long lunch on your own boat and spend someone else’s money.

We had a fabulous lunch at this restaurant right on the beach We had an appetizer of mussels which could have been a meal for 4! They are caught & kept fresh right in the sea. They were the best mussels I have ever had. We also had an asperagus/bacon pasta which was delicious. And I had a delightful & very artistic dessert. We had some excellent local wine & gin. The service was perfect! Thank you for a perfect day!

This place is nothing short of perfect! Great service, fresh delicious food and top quality local wines. What more do you need? A top location that is highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back.

Having spent a couple of wonderful, long, lazy and wine filled lunches here over the past couple of years, we returned with great anticipation and excitement again this year. Setting was still amazing, food was fabulous (although the menu seemed a little bit more limited this year) and the waiter friendly. Being from the UK we had already drunk more than our body weight in Whispering Angel so wanted to try some local wine. The waiter initially tried to insist we choose the Whispering Angel… All was good, we had a lovely lunch and paid the bill. We didn’t leave the HRK 400 tip in the bill folder, preferring to give it to our waiter directly as we left. We stood up to leave and the waiter came straight over and checked the bill folder. When he saw there was nothing inside he threw it back onto the table and walked off, not even acknowledging one of our guests when she said goodbye. We went and gave him the tip anyway but it left a bad taste in my mouth, so much so I felt compelled to write this review. Tips should be earned (and with good grace), not expected!
