Hotels in Ao Nang, Krabi

I recently booked a Standard Room at GLOW Ao Nang, and my check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM. However, I arrived at the hotel around 9:00 AM. I understood that early check-in might not always be available, so I waited patiently in the lobby for several hours. While I was waiting, I noticed that several other guests were being checked in earlier than the official time. Curious, I politely asked the front desk staff — a lady named Koyen — if early check-in was possible in my case. She informed me that early check-in was only available for guests with Deluxe Rooms. I was quite surprised to learn that check-in policy varies by room type, especially within the same hotel. Additionally, I observed a clear difference in the level of hospitality. Other guests were warmly welcomed with greetings, welcome drinks, and even had their luggage carried to their rooms by hotel staff. Unfortunately, in my case, I didn’t receive any welcome greeting or assistance with my luggage. It felt quite different and honestly a bit disappointing. As a guest, I believe all customers — regardless of room category — should be treated with the same level of courtesy and hospitality. This experience left me feeling that my presence was somewhat overlooked. I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve the consistency of guest service across all room types. Thank you.

Hotel front entrance was undergoing renovations and guests had to walk to basement for access lift to lobby exposed to rain. Management could have done better to moderate guests’ inconvenience. HOT water in bath was “faulty” such that each time technician fixed the hot water, again there was no hot water the next shower - could the technician activated the time switch to save electricity? My 5 days stay with cold showers after returning from the rain… bad experience.

This place is a gem. The price is reasonable. The staff are friendly. There's even a shuttle down the road to the beach every hour. There are fan bungalows which are super cheap, then poolside rooms and even swankier rooms in a separate building. So really something for everyone. The pool is great too.. The breakfast is ok, I'd skip that if you want to save. All in all a wonderful place. It says no kids but I do see them sometimes. But they don't take over the pool.

Excellent stay at this hotel! Near to Ao Nang beach, rooms are clean and well maintained, motorbike rental just next door to hotel with one of the best rental rates in town. Would come back again without a doubt.

Location is good, close to where we wanted to climb. Quite a few nice restaurants nearby. There was power/water outage for 1 hour or so, when we were there, it wasn't so bad. The view was amazing (my photo looked exactly like the same photo), great value for our stay. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. Facilities: 1. Note that there's no breakfast provided, though breakfast can be found nearby. Tip: ”Smiling Buffalo Krabi” is nearby (＜5min walk, opens at 8am), it's affiliated to Aspira Escape so you'll get to enjoy 10% off. We knew of this from the Smiling Buffalo staff, would appreciate if the hotel staff have told guests. 2. Aspira Escape has fancy water controls for their bathroom (see photo), I was very amused, do note that the hot water takes quite awhile to kick in.

The hotel is located quite far from the beach and main streets, but it’s very quiet and secluded. The room and hotel courtyard offer a beautiful view of the mountains. Clean, comfortable, with a convenient bed. We had direct access to the pool from our room, which was great. Friendly staff. Everything was excellent.

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the beach, and it's just 200 meters off the main road, so the location is pretty good. The rooms are nice, each with a balcony. I think the rooms with a limestone view have the best scenery. Breakfast is plentiful, served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and you can sit either indoors or outdoors, which is a nice touch. The air conditioning works very well, and the pool is great for families. The lobby is open-air, so the lack of AC there is a bit awkward. Overall, Krabi offers good value for money for a vacation!

I have travelled around Thailand for a month and this was one of my last stops. Out of every hotel I stay this was my favourite one. The staff were SO helpful with everything. They helped me book speed boats and gave me recommendations to all the best places. I rented a scooter from them and it was in good condition and super convenient for the island. The breakfast that was included was delicious and the hotel rooms are super comfortable. Overall I would say my favourite thing about this place is the staff. All of them are amazing, friendly and kind people.

Good enough for family that doesnt like crowded or noisy environment. Location is not close with aonang beach. But hey, walking is such a great exercise while enjoying the local place. Or, rent a bike. The only not really good is water pressure on the higher floor. Get a room on the lower floor.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay in Krabi. The room rate was very reasonable and included breakfast and non-included, making it excellent value for money considering the quality of the facilities. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The service was outstanding. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and I would like to give special thanks to the manager at Reception, who kindly offered us a great rate when we decided to extend our stay. This gesture was much appreciated and made our trip even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is ideal just a short walk to the beach, shops, spa and beauty services, and laundry facilities. There’s no need to rent a bike or car, as everything is easily accessible by walking. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Krabi!
