Kunming Jiangye Resort Hotel (Dianchi Grand View Park) Reviews

Jiaye Hotel is certainly a hidden gem, nice quiet location, close enough to major attractions, mostly either within walking distance or within 20 yuan on taxi. The personal butler system is amazing, there is always someone there for us. We booked for 2 nights, got upgraded to a room with balcony. Everyone is so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, really feels like a home away from home. The first night we arrived, we had to do some washing, free dinner and a big clothes rack was delivered to our room, they deserve more than 5 stars. Breakfast variety is good. We had a pleasant stay in Kunming.

We were greated very warmly by reception staff and quickly shown to our room which was so bright, spacious and warm. Many Man was very pleasant and the entire team. It's a wonderful location just opposite the beautiful Daguan Park. It's also a great location to depart for many of the sites whilst being far enough to enjoy the peaceful area. The hot springs were nice and delightful. The swimming pool was indoor, small but enough to relax in. Overall great stay and I would definitely recommend it and will return soon!

The room was new, clean and very quiet. I had a balcony with lots of sunshine. I enjoyed outdoor hot springs and swimming in the indoor pool. Breakfast was ok, I also tried lunch and it was delicious. Thanks to a receptionist who was so helpful and kind. The hotel is just near the entrance of the lake park. It was a beautiful hotel stay and city. Thank you 🙏

They upgraded us to a lake view with a balcony. The service was thorough and they made sure we were well fed and relaxed, The toilet had a washlet which is a big plus!! The bathtub and the shower were so big as well. Oh and the internet connection was very good and fast. The indoor pool was smaller than expected. i wish it was bigger. The outdoor hot tubs were so relaxing. we could have soaked there for hours.

Clean and modern hotel with good service. It is just located just outside the beautiful Da Guan park where u can feed the seagulls. Hotel provides free seagull food. There is outdoor hotspring available in hotel. My room was upgraded with a big hotspring bathtub. The nearest mrt is 6min cab away. Overall, it was a nice, quiet and relaxing stay.

Our room was a two-story loft, with bathrooms and showers on both levels, making it perfect for family trips. Additionally, the 24-hour indoor hot spring was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was a standout, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to suit all preferences.The staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to any family visiting Kunming and look forward to staying there again in the future.

This hotel is great. It’s a bit tricky to get to with your own vehicle because the road is weird but if you want to anything on dianchi lake, Yunnan nationalities park or west hills the location is ideal. The staff are friendly and we got free breakfast and dinner! The hot springs is nice but not large. Water was clean. We got the family loft room which is great for families but I recommend they put a bunk bed in the family room for foreign families who have multiple kids and Chinese families with 2 or more kids.

This is such a amazing hotel. Their service is top notch. I was attended by receptionist named 小张管家. She is so amazing and attended our requests with such patience and care. Everything was perfect with our stay in Jianye. From the the welcoming check-in to 小胡's assistance in booking a car to start our visit in Kunming, thoughtful communication and warm personal care were a well deserved 5-stars experience. The facility is clean and well appointed in everyway. The breakfast has great healthy selection.

Hotel is Big, Bright, Clean and Comfortable with good service from the front desk team. Room is spacious and looks new and well maintained. Complimentry dinner on our first night upon check in and breakfast selection is good. Only drawback is the location is a bit isolated from main shopping area or city, so have to take cab in and out. My kids rank this the best hotel stay in Yunnan.
