I arrived late at night and, hoping to get some extra sleep, asked the staff to arrange a quiet room. The front desk assistant, Ms. Qi, was very responsive and the room was well-appointed. I slept very comfortably. [Strong] The entire check-in process was incredibly pleasant and reassuring. The room layout was exactly what I loved—it was new, simple, and stylish. I was completely satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it! I didn't expect it would be so good even though I booked it casually. I loved the hands-free Xiaodu smartphone in the room. The TV was also quite large. The bed was also comfortable! The breakfast was also plentiful. This is a perfect hotel! Highly recommended! [Strong] [Strong] [Strong]
This time I stayed at Kunshan Meihao Hanpu Store, the experience was far beyond expectations! Convenient location and convenient travel. Hotel service is the biggest highlight. The front desk and butler are warm and thoughtful. They take the initiative to help with luggage and introduce facilities, which makes people feel very kind. Free afternoon tea and a bowl of hot noodle soup in the middle of the night, instantly dispelling the fatigue of the journey, the details are full. The room was clean and comfortable, the intelligent guest control was convenient, the bedding was especially good, and the sleep was very stable. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. Parent-child stay is also very suitable. The overall price is very high, the service is meticulous, and it really makes you feel at home. Next time you come to Kunshan, you must choose here! Five-star recommendation!

I took my high school kid here for a day off at the tail end of the holiday season. It was quick and convenient to get here from Shanghai. When I entered the hotel, I was told that the room type had been upgraded to a double bedroom, which was a real surprise. There were soft drinks and fruits in the room for us to enjoy, a huge sofa, and an exquisite little courtyard (the little snail had afternoon tea with us). It was so much fun to stay there for a day. There is also a granary that we can climb up in the hotel, as well as a Kunqu Opera art exhibition, and egrets by the lake. I especially want to mention the dinner in the hotel. Although it is a set meal, every dish is delicious. I look forward to coming again next time. It's great!

RRenee_1101Our best stay in our Shanghai and Suzhou Hangzhou trip! Booked a family room here for our two days one night stay nearby 周庄。 the lady boss is very very very helpful and friendly. They help us with our luggage, show us where to have our meal, and help us with the entrance tix as well. The bedroom is very very clean, and this Airbnb is just 3mins walk away from 周庄.
I can tell that the lady boss really loves what she is doing, welcome all the guest with warm and smile. She welcomed us with some snacks and fruits,
When we left, she gave us some biscuit and help us with the luggage again. Will definitely go back and share with my friends if they are going to 周庄
SSamson Fu HoOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.
LLucianaThe inn is located in the scenic area, so you must purchase a ticket first (it cost around 200++ rmb to enter the main gate and access most of the attractions inside, such as the antique mansions of Mr Shen and Mr Chang, etc).
Lady boss and boss are very friendly. Lady boss actively helped me carrying my luggage up the second floor and helped me booking a private transfer to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for the next morning.
The room that I booked had an antique bed, so pretty! The room is small, but it is as per advertised in trip.com and what I booked for, and it is enough room to open my cabin luggage. There are chairs and table and tea cup set next to the window to see the small river outside. Bathroom are clean and hot water flows easily. You can see boats pass through the river, very scenic.
The river town overall is very charming, the water is emerald green and clean (I can see through the stones below). You can rent a boat. It is 220 rmb per boat, so if you want cheaper should find other people to rent together and share the cost.
The antique mansions are so pretty and historical, it is included in the ticket purchased to enter the scenic area. But if you want to acccess the second floor of Mr Shen's mansion, need to purchase a separate ticket for 30 rmb. The key bridge is charming and next to it is a restaurant with delicious food.
The alleys are less people in the hot afternoon so it feels more peaceful than in busy Suzhou or Nanjing. But when night comes, it is the same lively and busy.
And lastly, you should not miss the performance ”Zhouzhuang in All Seasons” (只此周庄). No designated seat because it is an immersive theater, you walk along several sites to experience transmigrated into ancient Zhouzhuang. Very fun and rcommended!
Oh and when I leave the next day, lady boss kindly gave some snacks to eat along the way. Thank you!
GGuest UserThe location is very advantageous and travel is very convenient. Whether it is to visit various attractions or taste local food, it can be easily reached. The appearance of the inn retains the traditional architectural style of the Jiangnan water town. The interior decoration is exquisite and elegant. The room facilities are complete and the mattress is moderately soft and hard. Zhouzhuang Life Inn is a very cost-effective inn. I will stay there again next time.
AAnonymous UserI am very satisfied with the service of this orange hotel
The facilities are very new and just opened this year.
The service is also very good. We will respond to parking, takeout, late check-out, etc.
Breakfast is also rich in variety, fresh and delicious
I particularly like the location because it is within walking distance from the Kunshan Culture and Art Center. It is so convenient to watch performances from Shanghai, especially when there are some popular performances that cannot be bought in Shanghai. The curve saves the country and the price-performance ratio is unparalleled.
JJiayoumibaoThe room is very nice, clean and tidy, and the overall environment is very comfortable. There is also a very romantic courtyard on the first floor, which is especially beautiful when the lights are turned on at night! The store also specially prepared an electric car to pick up and drop off customers at the parking lot, and it is very close to the entrance of the Shen Hall, which is very convenient! If I go to Zhouzhuang next time, I will probably choose his restaurant again.
JJakobreuVery nice small hotel next to the canals of Zhouzhuang. Rooms are good and you feel like time travelling in old China with the traditional furniture and beds. Lovely owner who provided us with tips and lots of help when I lost my wallet in a Didi. You have to pay the entry fee to get to touristic area in which the hotel is located which was ¥150 p.p. during the day, it’s cheaper if you enter after 8pm so best to check with the host who is super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
JJayne LynnI was underwhelmed by the Crowne Plaza. I stayed for work, but it was my birthday while I was there. I asked if they wanted to upgrade my room because it was my birthday, but they feigned that they didn't understand (I did use English). The room was OK, but the carpet was definitely not clean. It was quite warm while I was there but the air conditioner was not on as the room temperature never changed. I used the swimming pool one day. Although it looks super cool in the pictures with a big glass infinity corner, it was very much leaking. Inside the pool the tiles were falling off the edges - there was even a sign acknowledging this. On my birthday I went up for a massage. I had to go into the back to find a lady and she made like I was bothering her phone time. Then she was on the phone while giving me a massage. The massage itself was pretty much the lamest massage I have ever had in my whole life. She barely massaged my skin much less my muscles. Also, the lights were on full bright and there was no much, just the sounds coming from the weight room that was around the corner. The whole experience left me wishing I had just stayed in my room. I do understand that the massage place, although in the hotel, was not related to the hotel.
GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you
NNicolefuguixianrenThe owner decorated the small yard beautifully. It is very comfortable to sit on the swing in the evening in this season. It is a kind of enjoyment.
